Is there any way to make the Clock on the HTC home screen smaller, i like the clock but dont need it taking up over half of my screen.
I don't believe so. You might try Battery status if you want something smaller.
I remember this being a huge discussion a while back when I had my Apache. I don't know what the answer was though, but I have seen screen shots of a smaller clock.
i have a nice clock skin thats pretty small

ok, maybe I'm too optimistic but, since I didn't found anything about this, I'm here to ask
I'd like to use the HTC Home, but that big clock uses half of the screen and my most important today plug (spb diary) is not so good in a such little space.
Is there any possibility to have a smaller clock?
I know I could use pocket plus or something like that, but they are all heavy for the pda and I'd like to have a fast device.
Thanks in advance!!!

OK, so i don't have the most productive answer, but i know someone here made a small clock that looked like the htc home one, but its just slightly shorter in height and doesn't have the two rows of tabs on the bottom. it was posted in this forum a few weeks ago at worst, but i didn't search for you
so it was right on the next page...

Hi.
I'm a HTC Diamond owner who has found an HTC today plug in and able to use a version of HTC Home Customizer. I am looking for a White Flip Clock that is the same size as the one in my TFLO 3D screen, but want one as a today plug in, same size and possibly with seconds flipping if possible. I've tried Tempus12 and it's not really for me and searched high and low with only a little success.
BanzaiTwolfe at PPCGeeks has produced a today plug with a white flip clock for the Diamond, but I find the clock is a little small and just wonder if anyone has/can produce this type of clock for VGA. It's a pity the Diamond clock can't be added separately to a today screen, as I find touchflo 3d has it's limitations, unless I need to be schooled on it's usage, i.e. see all the stuff which can be normally added to the today screen.
It's a long shot, but I hopw someone can help.
Thanks in advance of any help.
I have searched and came up with nothing for my stock sprint 6.1 rom. I want to be able to flip my clock up and have it be invisible, including the call history, calendar and slider. Everything on the home screen. Then I could have my wallpaper fully visible. I could even deal with the slider still being on the home screen if all the other things would flip to invisible. Is it possible or already been done and I missed it? Thanks
Edit: I would like to keep my current clock and slider/theme.
Is it just me or 2.2 icon spacing is terrible? Just updated to 2.2 from 1.6 and now I am faced with a row of empty coloum that I can not fit any more icons into.
Not sure what to do? please help?
It is like no matter what I do in dragging the icons across the screen to fill this gap, upon releasing my finger it goes back down in to the vertical coloum of icons.
What I should expect it to do like in 1.6 is to just start filling that big empty huge gap that can easily fit a standard application icons.
BUT NOT THE CASE OF 2.2? what all the hype is this about?
if you want more icons on your screen, you need to use an alternative launcher like launcherpro. i actually jumped ship today and installed it. i found the stage widgets to be a bit of a let down so i was ok with loosing them, and i was worried i wouldnt like launcherpro because i had it before on an old phone and didnt like it, and i didnt like it on my streak till i found the setting that says "auto-fit items: resizes widgets and icons to fit the grid size". its nice, i like it.

It had to be that way to fit in both landscape and portrate, even if you use another launcher and use more icons for portrate eg: 7 rows x 6 columns when to turn to landscape the 7 rows are all to squashed.
It's the same with wallpapers, what fits in portrate doesn't fit in landscape.
It's what you get with a widscreen smartphone.
I know this is probably really simple, so please dont laugh but..
Im wanting to have the clock and date that comes on the SGS lock Screen and that is now on the default Home Screen of the S2 on my main GS home screen. I really like the simple elegant font and look of this lovely digital clock, but I cant replicate the font or even find this clock on andriod or in my GS to use as my main clock.
Can anyone help
Cheers
