When I connect my VF Magic to my car kit is crashes saying process com.android.phone has terminated unexpectedly.
This has only started this weekend and the strange thing is that if I do nothing it actually keeps a connection but displays the error on the screen. Sometimes it loses the connection, but not often. If I try to dial from the phone it does lose the connection.
does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Duration of initial gprs-wap connection is only 1 minute. Thereafter MDA-II says "error dialed modem" and stops connection, even no phone (call) -connections possible. Underwhile, antenne-icon shows good reception
Only thing wat I did before this problem, was installing and deinstalling of SJphone PPC2003 (VoIP app.)
A restore of previous period didnt solve this problem.
Any advice is welcome
Hi all,
I've got my HD 2 for a week now and everything seems to be working fine, except for a very important bit: the phone.
When I'm connected to the network with a data connection, incoming calls are not possible after some time. The caller just gets a busy signal or my voicemail. This also happens when I haven't been actively using the connection for some time. Calling is also impossible most of the times this occurs, very annoying! Anyone else got this problem? It only happens when a data connection is present, under phone only use there is no issue.
When you say "data connection" do you mean Bluetooth, USB, or HSDPA/3G etc?
I haven't noticed this myself while connected to HSDPA...must check it out.
It only happens when I'm using 3G/HSDPA.
True
I have same problem.
Sometimes the call completely lost and sometimes the message "cannot dial for ...." pops up.
I think it could be connected to network itself ...
Ever since the 2.3 Update i am facing frequent hangs in my phones WiFi & it drops wifi connections by iteself....if I try to go back into the wifi settings ...it takes forever to load & often gives 'The activity Wireless Network is not responding'
I installed aLogCat from the market to see the logs & it gives a KeyDispatchTimeout
Anyone else facing the same issue or have a solution to this pls ?
Might be having the same prob, when my phone wakes up sometimes it won't connect to wi-fi until I turn it off then back on again. I've got a widgit for this as a work around. I just double click it and wi-fi it restarted.
I have a problem with WiFi. I m using mokee7.1.2 14may build. Whenever I play online games like mini militia, the WiFi gets automatically disconnected. On reconnecting it takes a lot of time and sometimes fail to connect giving a message 'password may be incorrect'. Please help me. Is this the problem of my WiFi router or my phone or the rom?
This is one description of the problem:
When attempting to connect bluetooth headphones to the ZTE Blade A7 Prime the phone shows connecting, disconnecting, repeat, feel frustrated, restart both devices, try again, issue continues then a message will pop up. "'Bluetooth' often exits due to an exception. It is suggested to uninstall it. Continue anyway?" and if I press ok it takes me the app info for Bluetooth with an option to "force stop" and the frustration starts all over again, disconnects, reconnects, repeat
This workaround worked for me:
After I had tried to connect and encountered the repeating disconnect and message about exception, I powered my Hearphones off to stop the cycle. My device (Bose Hearphones) was present in the list of bluetooth "previously connected devices". I clicked on the wheel on that line in the list to go to "device details". There I toggled "phone calls" Off, to the left. Then turned my Hearphones on and they connected to the phone (and if your device doesn't connect automatically you can click on Connect). After the connection was established I toggled "Phone calls" back on and the connection remained.
After this connection succeeded I could disconnect and reconnect my Hearphones with no problems.
However, after I rebooted the phone I needed to perform this sequence again to get a stable connection.
I am quoting from https://community.zteusa.com/discussion/55257/bluetooth-connectivity-issues. That forum is shutting down end of June 2020 and ZTE "support" moving to Facebook which means previous content would be lost.
