ZTE Blade A7 Prime bluetooth connection problem and workaround - Blade General

This is one description of the problem:
When attempting to connect bluetooth headphones to the ZTE Blade A7 Prime the phone shows connecting, disconnecting, repeat, feel frustrated, restart both devices, try again, issue continues then a message will pop up. "'Bluetooth' often exits due to an exception. It is suggested to uninstall it. Continue anyway?" and if I press ok it takes me the app info for Bluetooth with an option to "force stop" and the frustration starts all over again, disconnects, reconnects, repeat
This workaround worked for me:
After I had tried to connect and encountered the repeating disconnect and message about exception, I powered my Hearphones off to stop the cycle. My device (Bose Hearphones) was present in the list of bluetooth "previously connected devices". I clicked on the wheel on that line in the list to go to "device details". There I toggled "phone calls" Off, to the left. Then turned my Hearphones on and they connected to the phone (and if your device doesn't connect automatically you can click on Connect). After the connection was established I toggled "Phone calls" back on and the connection remained.
After this connection succeeded I could disconnect and reconnect my Hearphones with no problems.
However, after I rebooted the phone I needed to perform this sequence again to get a stable connection.
I am quoting from https://community.zteusa.com/discussion/55257/bluetooth-connectivity-issues. That forum is shutting down end of June 2020 and ZTE "support" moving to Facebook which means previous content would be lost.

GPRS not really connecting

Lately I've been having trouble with my GPRS connection on the T-Mobile MDA Vario. When I press the explorer icon so it connects, I get the usual message saying connecting to T-Mobile Internet, wait a bit, the message disappears (as if it has connected) but the page doesn't load (regardless of what page I have told it to go to). It just says loading for a while on the bottom of the page and then I get a message saying: 'The page cannot be found. Check the name and try again'. I then have to disconnect and reconnect (mostly several times) and then it'll work. Not sure why this is happening as I haven't changed any settings or installed any software, and when it does eventually connect properly it runs normally. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Unable to initialize wifi

So, I unboxed my brand new N1 today. Went through the set up steps and chose to set up everything later. I then tried to set up wifi. I clicked the box and it said it was turning wifi on. After the box shows the green check mark, the phone says it "can't search for wireless networks" then cuts wifi off.
When I try to add a wireless network manually, it says "can't save wireless network." Then cuts wifi off.
And on both, I get an error message: "Sorry! Application settings (in process com.android.settings) is not responding." I choose force close, and it shuts down wifi. I choose wait, and it shuts down wifi.
I've tried resetting the phone to factory default both in the normal Android GUI as well as doing the hard reset and still no luck.
Any ideas?

[Q] Functions stops working, one after another...

Yesterday activesync (I sync with my gmail account) stopped working. Have removed the settings, added them again, but nothing helps. On my old X1:a, when starting the activesync application, I could at least get some kind of error message why it didn't work.
Now it just says "waiting for network". If I press "sync" the screen changes to "syncronising" and the green wheel starts to turn. This will go on for some minutes, but nothing happens.
It's also impossible to choose "Push mail" in the communication manager, that option is greyed out.
Right now I noticed that I can't get no connection to my Wifi. We have two computers in the same room, a Dell laptop and a Macbook, both connects to the wifi without problems.
When I check Connections->Wifi I can just see my own network, which is "not available" and the option "add new". Even though I know that I usually can see about 20 Wifi's, the house where I live is full of them!
I really want to like this phone, but it's not that easy.

[Q] Problems with connection...

Hi there . hope anyone can help me.
Yesterday my watch suddenly stopped recieving notifications. Trying to reconnect the watch in android wear only resulted in me getting stuck with "Connecting". I then reset the device... now I cant find it under "Choose a device". Noone of my phones, tablets, girlfriends phone is able to find the watch anymore.
Its like the bluetooth inside the watch turned off all of a sudden.
On the watch it only says "Install android wear on phone".
What to do? I have reset the watch severel times. I tried to clear the cache... clear the data. Even cleared the Google Services data and reeboted the phone. Nothing works.
Its a Sony Smartwatch 3 with newest update (501).
Ok... I was right... My watch has turned off the Bluetooth setting. I figured this out because somehow I could connect my phone this morning and now I got a "find Bluetooth devices" on the watch. When I choose this option it asks me to turn on Bluetooth?... Wat!?
If I say yes I get a message saying Turning on Bluetooth "... But it doesn't work and I get back to the" turn on" menu.
Anyone tried this before? First time I see an option to turn on the Bluetooth setting on the watch.

Is my wifi chip (hardware) broken? (Lenovo A7600-F)

Hey,
I recently got a used Lenovo A7600-F tablet from my office because they weren't using it anyways.
Everything seems to work perfectly fine - except the wifi connection.
Code:
Model: Lenovo A7600-F
Android: 4.4.2 (no further update available for that model)
Kernel: 3.4.67
Build: A7600F_A442_000_029_150401_ROW
Here is the thing:
I disable/enable wifi
I click my home network and enter the password
Nothing happens for ~2 seconds
"Failed to connect to network" (no "connecting" or similar)
To make sure my WPA2 security isn't the problem, I made an unprotected hotspot on my phone. Absolutely identical problem.
One thing I noticed: The tablet is able to find all the networks around me and updates their signal strength in the list without any problems. As soon as I try to connect to one, it takes around 2 seconds until it says "Failed to connect to network". If I then try again, the message pops up instantly with no delay for all networks. From that moment on, the list also stops updating and can't be refreshed until I turn my wifi off and on again.
I downloaded "Wifi Analyzer" and I can see all the networks' strength values moving. I can close the app, do something else or go to standby and come back to see the values still updating. But as soon as I try to connect to a network, it will give that error again, stop updating the list in the wifi section and Wifi Analyzer will not be able to find any more signals. If I close that app and bring it back up now, the list of networks will remain empty. Same with the networklist on the wifi settings. Turning wifi off and on again resets the whole thing.
In short: My tablet sees all networks around me and updates them, but gives an error ("Failed to connect to network") as soon as I try to connect. Then no more wifi updates until i disable/enable it again.
Factory reset did not help, I let the battery drain and charged it back up - no success! I also tried an app called "Wifi Ruler", which was mentioned to fix a similar problem in a post I found on another forum. Connecting through that has exactly the same effect.
Does anybody have an idea about what is going wrong and what else I could try to fix this?
