Start a program when BT Handsfree is connecting - XPERIA X1 General

Hey guys, I could need your help.
I need to find a way to start a program / file (mortscript file) when Bluetooth Handsfree is connected /disconnected (more clear: connecting / disconnecting)
SPB Phone Suite can change profiles automaticly on this event, but Phone Suite cannot run a program when changing a profile ... what a pitty.
It would be very usefull for me because when Handsfree is connected I sit in my car and then I want to start Media Player, TomTom and so on.
Anyone could suggest me ANY solution to start a program upon Bluetooth Handsfree connecting?
I would be glad for every idea ;-)

Maybe search the registry keys of SPB Phone suite to see if you can find one that shows the status of a changed profile (the little yellow asterisk on the profile icon) and then monitor it with mortscript.

A2DPToggle by Teksoft is a nice free today plugin that lets you easily connect/disconnect headset. It also supports execution of desired app after connecting

True, but it cannot autoconnect when bluetooth device in range and detected

Sadly, i cannot get my Philips SHB7100 to autoconnect anyway

Pocket Bluetooth Tools

Hey guys,
I use this tool: Pocket Bluetooth Tools
Latest version.
But I only use it for the Active Sync profile.
No BT headset!!
Everytime I get a call or make one my Bluetooth connection goes ON.
I don't want this because it consumes a lot of power and its not needed as I don't use a BT headset.
Can any one tell me how I can disable the Bluetooth ON when a call is being made...?
Thanks
and if you uninstall it, is your headset one of the models that dont work natively with the xda?
the purpose of BT Tools, is to enable the BT on calls . . . if you dont want it just uninstall it.
Or you can try unticking it on the today settings (dunno if it'll disable the function or just disable the today plugin)
hope this helps

Auto Changing Profile on Bluetooth detection

I have an I-mate JAM and a Parrot CK3100 BT Kit. Is there a utility that can detect the signal from the BT Kit and automatically to change the profile to "Car" = Bluetooth On?
I used to have this feature with my SE T630 and was very handy. Now I am using PocketZenPhone and I manually change the profile when I enter the car.
PHONEALARM
Bye
I also tried PhoneAlarm but I could't find a way to make it automatically change the profile to "Car". I have to select it manually
Do you have a cradle in your car?
It can change to car profile when it is connected to a power supply and it is not present Active Sync.
C.
No I don't have an active cradle that's why I can't use that feature. I dropped a line to PhoneAlarm and Zendrui (PZP) and I will wait to see if they can come with something...

You should have a 'Connect' button on your headset... check your manual. I have a diferent headset, but on mine I short-press the power button and an icon appears at the top of the screen.
This topic has been discussed quite a bit. Please use the forum's SEARCH feature. It's quite useful at times. AVRCP, for one, will not work unless you're using a media player that actually supports it, such as MortPlayer.
@sesaru
i use this headphones on X01HT too. just bought few days ago. if you want engilish manual for this pm me. push play pause in your headphones then open media player. this will open A2DP music mode (Wireless Stereo). AVRCP works with media player i dont know any other work one. imusic and gsplayer dosent work. if you push dark blue bar button you will open HFP (hands free). i have bad news too. i cant get good quality of sound. there is some noise when i listen music with it. user manual write it can be about 2.4 ghz wireless device. like microwave oven, wireless LAN and cordless telephone. all thing is what tokyo is haven of them. you must be 10m far from all of them. and this is mean i must to go 10m away tokyo to listen clear music. if you get good quality pls write me. i hope all this will help you.
Just to confirm i have these headphones and they work with all my windows mobile devices.
My hermes is WM5 but they work fine with my Universal with WM6
Someone already said it but yeah pushing the play pause button re-pairs them for a2dp. I think sometimes i push it twice to get it to do it.
Hello,
I fixed when I updated to WM6. But sounds is not good, so I installed Widcomm stack. But I have a new problem.
After install Widcomm stack (I have Windows Mobile VI - BLACK EDITION v1.2 but also happended with WM6 for Hermes LVSW Edition), I can't sync via USB. My computer don't detect the Hermes! Is if like I didn't connect to it.
Any idea?

Oh!! I just realised now I can't switch on the phone module of the comm manager (>_<) So It doesn't work; I give up.
Can you post where exactly is the fix for this? I'm reading a lot, but I can't find it ...
Hello,
What I did is this:
I installed WM6 ROM in my X01HT and WC Stack. After That, I did this:
1. Close BT Manager and turn BT off.
2. Open registry (need Resco Registry plug-in) and make the following changes (no need of soft reset after them):
[HKLM\Software\Widcomm\BTConfig\Applications\0001]
Change ComPortNumber from 8 to 7
[HKLM\Software\Widcomm\BTConfig\Services\0001]
Change ComPortNumber from 9 to 6
Rename [HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\Serial8] to [HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\Serial6] and change these subkeys acordingly
"FriendlyName"="Bluetooth Serial Port COM6:"
"DeviceArrayIndex"=dword:00000006
"Index"=dword:00000006
When you have changed this, suspend (off) the PDA for a few seconds and turn it on again. Then goto Bluetooth Settings- Services-Serial Port-Advanced and verify that thet ports that Widcomm is using are 6 & 7
But now I can't switch on the phone App. When I open the Comm App, and push the "Phone" button, it didn't start.
Please, somebody let me know what I'm doing bad.
Thanks
Cesar

App search: Change speaker volume depending on BT connection

Hi all,
I'm looking for an application to change the speaker volume depending on a device connected to my PDA via BT.
Example: When my PDA is connected to my BT hands free kit in my car, I want the speaker volume to be maximum. When the connection is lost (or disconnected), the speaker volume should switch back to a default value.
Is there an existing application which does this or something similar? Or does anyone know, where WM5 / WM6 stores, which device is connected via BT?
Regards,
Rudi
sounds like you need mort script. i dont think it would be that hard. i have a mort script for brightness that does the same thing.
In order to write a script I need to know, how to figure out, which bt device is connected to the PDA - this seems to be the major difficulty... I want it to switch automatically as soon as the PDA connects to my hands free kit in my car.
So if someone knows, how to find out (by script) which bt device is connected, please let me know...

software for automatic actions

Hi,
I want to give my old Jasjam to our babysitter to use it as a mp3 player when she's sleeping my little boy.
The Jasjam should connect to a bluetooth stereo profile and start playing an mp3 with a few clicks.
Is there a simple way to achieve this ?
A program to start automatically and connect to bluetooth device, then start media player.
?
I need this solution.
please if someone has any ideas please share...
I've found an app named Bluestarter (v1 works for me on WM 6.1 but v2 does not)
with this I can start \\Windows\wmplayer.exe with parameter \\play.asx (that is the playlist I've created with app PlaylistMgr)
So, now when my device is turned on, if it finds my bluetooth device (Yamaha AV receiver)
But it does not connect to the Bluetooth audio service.
How can I make it connect automatically ?
edit: I've just found another app named A2DPtoggle.
That adds a easy button to the main screen to toggle A2DP profile.
