Thanks for your reply! Actually, I did use S2U2 on my HD. But it just can prevent I wrongly touch the key to receive a call. I need "Phone Canvas" to avoid to touch the function key "e.g. Mute / Hold" on the keypad during I making / receiving calls. Hope it is clear. Thanks again!
doesnt s2u2 have an option to lock all soft/hard keys?
I find S2U2 so confusing. It is very hard to test also because you have to wait for someone to actually call you before you can see if the settings are as you wish.
Can anyone tell me what settings to use in order to have S2U2 keep my phone locked when I receive a call and let me asnwer the call by sliding ????

when you have the screen in phone mode, there must be some way of locking the screen!

Not sure if this answers your question but mine is set up thus:
In 'Settings/Buttons/Lock' set 'When device is off' to 'Lock all buttons except Power Button'
I keep the screen outwards and use the power button to lock/unlock.
One snag is that the phone seems to unlock itself when receiving an incoming call. I therefore can accidently cancel it trying to get the damn thing out of my pocket.
I do believe it locks the screen during installation of the ext rom..
This is done by running tpdisable.exe from the windows directory..
A word of warning though: IT'S DISABLED!
Unless you bind tpenable.exe to a button FIRST, you're screwed..
(Ok, a soft reset should fix it..)
I think they are called tpenable and tpdisable...
I don't have the device yet, so I can't check right now.
When I was looking at the config file, there was no mention of an exe, it was like a command (unlock your ext rom and take a look at it).
I got the impression this function was now embedded in the OS hence no exe. Probably wring of course....
Then it should be possible to make such a program, and assign it to a button..

Any one work out what the key combination is to diactivate it on the Universal?

I guess it would be the equivalent keys of leftmost and rightmost keys on HTC Blue Angel ('Windows' and 'Ok' keys!?)

i didn't have this issue before but i have new sim card since a week and on vodaphone FR ( sfr) ...the thing is that when somebody calls me , at the first ring , the phone autoanswer to the call and i have no choice to speak !!!! if the phone is in my pocket, the time i take it , the phone has answered since a long time ...i don't know why it is like that .....
i have checked in the phone settings if i had had set the auto answer but no.
in HD tweak or Schaps3 , i did nothing like this .....
please help, it is more than annoying ......
another question: how to disabled the answering machine logo and notification displayed on screen when you have a new voice message ( i also have everytime "voicemail" displaying on the screen asking me to set the number)

i found the answer by enbaled the sleep function in hd tweak .....
so all is fine now ....but i still have the voicemail thing when a new voice message is waiting ...... if somebody knows .....

Maybe remap the keys? i didnt have a problem with this so far!
or use s2u2 to lock all buttons and use slide to answer feature.
this will sort out your problem besides its always a good thing to place your phone so the buttons face the bottom so when you pick it up you wont accidently press them.. make sence right?

Which version of s2u2 do you use I notice there are two on their web page - VGA or QVGA?
vga. it has inbuilt wvga support.
probably you have installed gyrator, which by default when you move your phone, it uses the g sensor to detect movement and answers your phone, go to the events of gyrator and disable the event
I had this too - thanks for pointing out that it was a behaviour of Gyrator.

He wants to disable input / turn off the screen.
It is possible with XperiaTweak, I've done it myself.
So, when a new message arrives, the screen does not wake up.

Exacly, but xperiatweak doesnt work, because i have new itje's ROM, base on RA2 and RA3. Maybe someone know, how i can do this without xperiatweak?

both of you should read better to avoid to make stupid mistake. i asked about the double dialer when i recive a phone call (htc and s2u2) and not about the double screen lock
so next time read better thanks
just go to S2U2 settings and disable the S2U2's slide to answer call phone functionality then. it's probably incompatible with the HD2 dialer.

Possibly, I haven't personally used the S2U2 slide to answer functionality for ages since it was never particularly snappy. I'd go to the S2U2 thread and ask A_C if I were you.

if i make a phone call it happens very often that i touch lightly the screen...with my ear or cheek. in consequence i turn the phone off, add new contacts or open any other apps. that sucks!
is there a dialer with a kind of lockscreen when make a phone call??????
phonex from Iconsoft does that as well as many other clever things.. costs though - but worth it imo. it has a trial.. I agree either the wm or htc diallers are hopeless, which is not great on something that's supposed to be a phone first..

I have the same problem, and I checked those 3 tools, but there seems no option. I Dont want to lock the device completely, only during phone calls.
On my Touch HD, the screen will turn off immediately after connection is established.
How can I get the same behaviour on the Diamond2?
