Hi to all of you,
I feel my CRUISE consumes too much power overnight (from 100 to 75%) in a night of 12 hours!
Wouldn't it be interesting to know:
- Rom version
- Radio version
- % battery change over let's say 8 or 10 hours of STANDBY
- Are you using GPS everyonce a while ?
Dag
ROM 1.52.753.3 CHT TAIWAN
RADIO 1.64.08.21
Battery drain 2%. from 0:00 - 7:00 with flight mode on.
about 3-4% with phone mode on in 7 hours (GPRS, 3G and everything else off)
ROM .67 Bepe
with original ROM (spanish) about 4-5%, same conditions as mentioned before

You mean phone part is off?
I get 5-7% per night (00-07) with normal mode of work phone.
I forgot to ask if you are using GPS sometimes or not ?
I fell my CRUISE has a problem with 24% lost in one night !!!! of course data is off and wifi is off, only the phone is on !!
What about your GPS?
2-3% sounds right for my phone too - Bepe .67 WWE in standby.
When I switch the phone on in the morning, BatteryStatus tells me it's using about 4mA before the plug-in catches up to the fact that the device has been switched on.
44% left for a consecutive 3 hours GPS usage.
Simply and very common view of power drain of battery:
- When standby - 1% per 1h
- When GPS is on - 1% per 10min
- When WiFi is on - 1% per 1min
Phone always on, BT always off.
ROM 0.67 by Bepe.
0%... it's left on usb cable via powered hub all night
But usually... two 1hour GPS trips and a 20min phone call and its dead... need to install a lighter socket in my car to keep on top of that!
This is weird, phil. I leave my phone on at night, I lose 4-5% of battery even with bluetooth, wi-fi and phone on. I had a battery problem with my polaris with the original rom, once, it was caused by active sync automatically opening and scanning ports. maybe if you disable it, your battery will breathe longer... GPS aint that much of a gobber, neither.

I loose 4-5% in 8-10 hours.

I wonder if you all got the same quality battery. Eg maybe some batches were defective/old? Stored badly in heat or something so had a lower battery capacity?
Maybe check your manuf. dates etc?

Guessing and estimating is, put simple, worthless.
Get yourself a copy of the outstanding and free acbPowerMeter which graphs battery usage in a very understandable way and it also shows you your current battery usage.
http://www.acbpocketsoft.com/Products/acbPowerMeter/acbPowerMeter-Overview-2.html
So if one guys device uses x mA and another guys device uses x^2 mA under the same conditions, then it's not some kind of a bad batch of batteries but some user which should win a price. A bad price.
Install the utility, post test results in here.

I'll (even full...)quote myself then: forget about the utility, it's not compatible with the Polaris' components. It delivers an energy consumption of 4.5E9 mA which is, well, off the scale pretty much.
Anybody else knows of a (working) power consuption/battery life tracking utility? Possibly even a free one?
Here it is: BatTest. It's extremely simple utility with no graphic output, but only text log. Also it stops logging after the device goes asleep and resumes when you press the Power button (dunno if it's a bug or a feature, haven't ever tried anything else). Although, as we haven't got any alternatives, I guess it's our best shot. It has already served me well, hope it'll do the same for you.
PS. There's also the BatteryStatus utility, but it only shows current energy draw with no tracking.
PPS. Oh, and, of course, it's free.

The idea of this post is to make a statistic research about the battery drain problem. Maybe this will make us understand the cause of the battery problems -since I couldn't find something that solved the battery problems of all users.
I have checked these posts (and some others)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=295191
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=287165
and the "Battery SOLVED" topic
There are 3 solutions (they are post in Faria Wiki)
-One is mess with the keys
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\AsyncMac1\Parms]
...
-Another is mess with the key
HKLM/Drivers/SDCARD/ClientDrivers/Class/SDMemory_Class/DisablePowerManagement
-And a third solution is to Flash a ROM with FULL battery & let it drain comletelly afterwards.
---------------------------------------
Using the "battery status"today add-on I can say this:
The first time I installed faria 3.3 ROM I had huge memory drain problems
I notised that even in stand-by my phone "ate" about 124mA
The registry memory tweaks didn't change this much - maybe 118mA.
The battery in this codition lasted at most 18hours...
I reflashed Faria3.3 with the mobile FULLY charged, let it discharge fully and now I have 84mA consuption if phone goes to sleep and 97mA when not used. Now battery lasts about 48hours without much usage.
With the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\AsyncMac1\Parms] etc keys changed and with manually shutting down the Wireless Monitor Service(WMS7) was 42mA .
Note: I have Faria3.3 ROM & GSM 2.19 .
In another mobile phone I checked, with 2.17 OS rom & GSM 2.06.10 radio, I see that the when phone is not used the battery drain is 24mA !!!!!
This phone does NOT have the registry tweaks enabled and even with backlight it still stays in 24mA..
Please, post your mA consumption here and say what you have enabled.
Btw, anyone knows why Wireless Monitor Service(WMS7 was enabled (started) even though I have turned off WiFI,bluetooth & IRDA?
152mA, was ALOT higher when i had 5+ programs running, around 200
I have Faria's WM6 and run about 57mA in standby, 125 during normal operations.
Here is my first contribute to this outstanding forum.
Hope this is usefull insearch of the power drain on some devices.
Note:
My phone does NOT have the powermanagement registry tweaks enabled.
And is an clean install with the Faria WM6 (The real Thing) rom.
So there ain't much running.
Just ordered Wisbar Advanced + desktop so hope to see more readings later this week after fully fine tuning my device.

Softreset: 258mA
Hardreset: 350mA
Standby + 50% backlight: 302mA
After charging: (and pulling the plug out) 180 -> 250 mA
All readings do not change until i manualy interrupt the current status off my device.
I mean if my device after wakeup says 219mA the reading does not change even when i run different software apps.
Even if the CpuScaler clocked 130mhz the reading will not change.
I think that BatteryStatus is broken or something else is interfearing with the readings.
i went from 175mA to 125mA... just by going from 0 to 1 with the next tweak:
HKLM/Drivers/SDCARD/ClientDrivers/Class/SDMemory_Class/DisablePowerManagement
i use Fario's rom..
trying other tweaks now..
ok:
so without doing anything it just suddenly dropt back to 64mA.... :\
ok:

I recommend not to use these ::: they sucked out my battery even more.. from 125 to 247

First i updated my Radio rom from 2.19.11 to 2.61.11. (No errors everything works fine)
I just wanted a better radio because the signal strengh overhere is verry bad.
This update has on my device an nice site effect.
Powerdrain dropped by several mA.

Second i messed with the key

i dont know what i did.. but its at 42mA right now.. and sins my last post.. it was @ 76% battery.. and right now its @ 75%... that means more then 12 hours have passed.. and its only down by 1 %...
last post was @ 01:30 PM...
WOW!!!!!!!!!!~!!!!!!!!!
like i said.. it took a really long time for 1 %..
but the moment i sent an sms message... it went from 75% to 71%..!!!
damnnn
Seems as if batterystatus is broken: my readings dont update either: it seems stuck at the same mA-value all the time, no matter what I do, or which clockspeed I use...
Also: the powermeter keeps at 99% (had been 83% as well); it never changes : (
My battery from 100% to drop to 99% might take 8-12 hours , then from 99% to 90% might take few hours (maybe 1-3 hours).
This seems to be normal.
I'm using the mA consumption because if you have an 1250mA battery I think this is the best unit to measure battery.
My apologies, but which program are people using to measure battery life consumption and how does one tell which program is causing the problem? In the past week, I have noticed my battery life take a nose dive and I'm wondering if it is pRSS Reader that causing my problem. I installed a power saving cab found on this forum site and I will test it tonight. Thanks for the help.
It might also be worth considering usage of GPRS, Push email, WiFi, BT, etc.

Be careful of power saving cabs. Some of them actually increase battery consumption.
I think most people are using battery status to check consumption.
BTW:
At wake up: 24-30 mA
When the phone has a signal, the consumption rate is low 24-30 mA throughout the day. When it is searching for a signal (normally at my work), the consumption is substantially grater. When I get back home the consumption goes back down to the normal 24-30 mA (I always have a signal at home).

No,
I never applied the fix.
I haven’t done enough research on the fix to justify applying it. Maybe when I get some extra time.
The signal goes in and out at work, so it's not a big deal for me!
Running an 8125 with Faria's WM5 3.3 ROM.
When I wake it up it's usually 51, or somewhere in the 50's anyway.
I just tried those powermanagement reg tweaks and had terrible results too :\
My wizard can last 3 days with moderate usage of wifi, phone calls, and movies. This happened after I followed the Battery Solved thread and reflash with official ROM and then I installed Xplore1.1. And for the first cycle after first time after fully charging overnight, I can get the 3days of continous battery life..
Since then, I have been monitoring CPU usage and it hovers around 1-5% (Battery status) when idle... Bear in mind that the current consumption value can be around 33mA to 150mA and still battery life seems to be good...
Weird but through...

Dear,
I have upgraded my HTC Touch from WM 6.0 to 6.1. I have faced the big problem of Heavy Battery Drain. I was confused. I try to find out the solution over XDA Forum.
My problem was, "after charged 100%, then after 5-10 menutes it goes to 80%. and then it start draining very fast."
I have changed the registry for :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\AsyncMac1\Parms]
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:1
Change to
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:0
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Irsir1\Parms]
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:1
Change to
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:0
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\PPTP1\Parms]
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:1
Change to
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:0
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\L2TP1\Parms]
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:1
Change to
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:0
and Set the Wireless Monitor Service from Automatic to Manual.
But, I still have the same problem, why after 100% charged & after unpluged it goes to 94% thereafter 88% and within 5 menute it goes to 80%.
Thanks to the XDA Forum Members, help me out.

I have noticed one thing yesterday.
From the moment i had my Rhodium (2weeks ago) i installed advanced Config 3.3 on my Rhodium.
From the start i had the "SDcard power management" enabled.
Since then i had a terrible battery life, 20% loss in 3 hours so at the end of the day my battery was empty.
And did not blame the powermanagement of this.
Trying to locate the power loss i used acbPowermeter.
After two weeks i came till the conclusion that there was nothing which drains my battery.
True out the day i use my phone for just a couple off calls and sms messages.
3G is disabled because the poor reception.
Also auto weahter updates every 2 hours and my mail is also checked every 1 hour.
Bluetooth is always discoverble which does not effect battery drain more then bleutooth off.
Activesync is killed and Opera does realy close and used the nopushInternet tweak.
So after testing al these and more.
Even how much those apps uses de proc.
I had to try one more thing, disable the SDcard power management in Advanced Config 3.3.
And today that config change made me verry happy.
Normaly i start working at 5am and work till 3pm in that time the battery has lost 60% power.
And today i was supprised my Pro II had 91% power left.
So i just want to let you know that in my case the SDcard Power management f*****k up my batterylife.
Specs
HTC Touch Pro II
ROM-Vers: 1.19.404.1 (51489) NLD
ROM-Date: 06/22/09
Radio-Vers: 3.44.25.27
Engergy Info Tab says at 90% battery life:
Last fully charged
23:24 Thu 18aug 2009
Standby time:
18 hours and 40 minutes
Speak time:
1 hour and 4 minutes
Device Use:
5 hours and 4 minutes
I believe these specs aren't that bad because before i disabled the power management my battery would be emty in 16 hours.
So i hope that my findings will help you all.
Bluetooth is always discoverble which does not effect battery drain more then bleutooth off.

in most devices bt in descovery mode drains the hell out of the battery!
I always have my BT ON only, because thats all you need once you devices have been paired.

Hey Faria,
First off all i still love your rom on my old wiza200.
Back ontopic:
As i found on the internet and my findings with the discoverble mode that it is not on all the time.
It only opens the BT pairing when a device want to pair.
After that it closes and acts as BT on mode.
BT does not sends it signal all the time.
But correct my if i am wrong
edit
If i may believe AcbPowerMeter the power drain with BT on and BT discoverble is nill and BT off against BT on is that it isn't a power drainer

ha.. you mean you have it in a timed descovery mode. if that is the case then it is correct.
if i m not mistaking bt on only, drains less than 1% in 24 hours of the battery.
I get 7 hours of battery life and I'm a heavy user. I already have that option disabled. I need to improve this battery!!!
incredible!! your results are great!! any other detailed report, to clarify things a bit?? it would be interesting to have some data to elaborate some statistics and see what we come up with
in your fisrt post, you mean that you achieved the written results at the cost of only 10% battery life, or have I misunderstood it all??? if it's correct, wow!! °_° you have a nuclear battery! from 100% (and powermanagement enabled) I usually achieve 24 to 26 standby hours, 30min calls, 5 hours device usage (most of them connected on 3g). no bt nor auto connections of any kind.
thinking about it, it sounds a bit strange though: the OS is basically the same since quite a long time, and so the management of sd power (I think). so why would it do good (if enabled) on many devices, and not on TP2, having on the contrary such a bad impact on battery life?? I hope my question is clear enough!
since I'm no expert or programmer, I'd really like to have a little explanation by someone who really knows how these things work!
thanks a lot for the contribution, everything that may improve battery life even just a minute is super appreciated! best regards!

I expect that my testing will be done with in two or three weeks.
Because i want to exclude every possible power drain and drain the battery till its empty to besure how long it takes.
Althought my battery isn't empty jet i will post some screens of the actual battery state.
And later this weekend when the battery is empty i will also post data of my findings.
With my tests i hope to save power and still be able to use the Pro II as its ment to be.
Or else it will be useless expansive plastic brick after 7hours of use time.
At this moment my battery has 43% power left.
And the last full charge was at 4am on 20-08-2009.
So its standby for a little over 54 hours. (current time 11:30am)
In my attached screen it say standby time 49 hours.
I do not know if this standby indication is the actual standby or what is left.
I mean that my Pro still has 49 hours to go.
Think there is a bug in de energy tab, but can not find anything on the NET.
This is what i have done the last 54 hours.
Why is tell you this? althought i am not an heavy user like many people here.
It maybe can help to compare my use with all you people.
- 4am 20-08-09: woke up and disconected my phone from the charger.
- 5am got to work, at work no provider connection so phone is searching for connection for little over 8 hours.
- 3pm got home, so now and then check the weather, play arround with new appz, had to put is some new appointments and contacts.
- Tryed some new reg tweaks, and took some pictures and make a short movie (1.39min) off the awefull weather over here.
- 10pm got to bed with 73% power left in my battery.
- Same story: 4am woke up and got to work to arrive at home at 3 pm.
- Did some checking on the weahter app, added a new contact, tryed some g-sensor games.
- And made two phone call about 10 minutes (not much for the last two days)
- Also send about 12 sms and 2 emails.
- Got to bed at 11pm and woke up at 10am with 43% power left in my battery.
- My mail is checked every two hours, no pushmail by the way
- I used the alarm function as my wake up call
I will let the battery drain completly and try some other possible power savers later this week.
And will post my findings over here including some findings i made with acbpowermeter and what effects background services or programms have on the battery.
At this moment i think i have charge my battery tomorrow morning if it does not shut it self off because of an empty battery over night.
If 4 days standby time is possible with little use then i'm not happy with the power drain.
Why: my wifes Omnia i900 is not used for over 3days (Backup phone at the moment) and has a been standby for 4,5 days and has 50% power left.
Okay i know i can not compare these two devices.
Because there different and we do not use the devices the same.
Later this weekend i will post what i have done and post some data and statistics.
And i will post which changes i made for my new tests week.
What i have done so far,
Energy settings:
-screenlight in battery power is full
-screen goes off after 1 minute
-device goes off after 2 minutes
Phone settings:
-band settings are set both to auto
Bluetooth:
-is set to discoverble
WiFi:
-Did not use it this test
Commanager
-Do not know whoe made it.
but is use the new commanger to quickly switch between 3G on or off.
Because in my area there is a poor reception of 3G
So currently 3G it is switched off
Advanced Config:
-sdcard powermanagment is disabled
-also the others mmc, nand, sim, async, pptp,l2pt
-Data connetions (gprs auto attach) disabled
-miscellaneous (auto daylight savings) disabled
Appz & tweaks
-manilla nopushinternet
-Opera wil close instead of minimize
-Activesync is killed by faking a server
-No2chem 1% battery bar
-Zuinigerijder TouchLockPro
-XDA-Developers GPRS 1 minute auto detechment
Rhodium settings tool:
-Auto rotation is off
-Power special tweak is switched off (next week testing it switched on)
So next week more data and background info
waiting to see the final results!!
btw, what is "power special trick"?? never heard of that.. sounds useful
the more minute of battery life we can obtain, the better!
how do you disable the sd card power management? i want to give this a try. also this is my first post and id like to say this site has alot of useful information!
any updates
I tried disabling and...well maybe there is some little improvement here, but I don't know if it's really because of this or if it's because of different patterns of usage during the days.. mine varies a lot.
as a raw comparison, it went from almost 60hrs standby and 5 of usage to almost 75 and 6 /6.5. both test with phone always on on 3g network, no data connections, no wifi, bt and such. just simple usage (documents reading, editing, tweaking, mostly PIM related tasks.
again, I'm not really sure it's power management related.. maybe V6Maniac did a more rigid comparison, mine's not worth it
waiting for updates
cheers
Palringo
Guys,
I am not a techie so dont flame me if what I say proves to be wrong.
When I installed cleanRAM and when went to the Customized Process List, I saw Palringo as one of the running processes. I remembered using Palringo on the day I installed it, but never after that, which is at least 10 days before. And it stayed there even after a day. Hence I decided to remove the installation and the process is gone now.
Now my batter is really good!!! I had a full charge by 6 pm yesterday and now it is holding at 84%. I did connect to Internet through WiFi for about 20 to 30 mins for skype call, updated weather and stock. Yet it is holding at 84%.
Let me observe it for few more days and let me come back to you if I find anything interesting.
it is known that certain programs are really nasty battery drainer. there's a recent thread somewhere reporting that a (maybe older( version of ESET mobile antivirus did the same. so we have another entry for the black list of abnormal battery drainer
thanks a lot!
Hi
I just purchase Topaz
also i'm new to the windows mobile phones
I'm completely like the phone but i have a weird problem with it
while i use it i notice the battery produces too much heat that i can notice
the battery can be drained very easily with any action
I just turn off my phone it was 21% charge i noticed the heating issue
and i turned it on again and the battery was 14%
just to restart my phone i lost 7%

Well, Its normal to get hot when taking a long call.. (10 min or more), but while in standby, it should NEVER get even WARM (mine stays cold as ice ) !!!
The power drain maybe is cuz your phone is heating.. The heat expands circuits and increase the power drain.

About using the MP3 player for 1 hour and drop 20%, its normal.
But, 14% then sunddely goes to 4% ? Thats not freaking normal...
Just take it back to warranty ok!

I wouldn't rush to send it back. It all sounds normal to me.
You must remember that the batteries will take a few weeks to attain full capacity operation.
Keep them on charge as much as you can (mains or car/plane etc), don't switch off at night, don't cycle them and don't drain them excessively.
If that does not give an improvement THEN take them back.
When I first got my TD2 I was appalled at the battery life and bought a spare battery. I have never used it.
And when they get warm it shows that they are happily being used or recharged and is no cause for concern.
Hi Cairo,
First of all, sorry for my english.
In my case, I bought my TD2 this summer, & I had some of these problems with the battery.
I'll tell you my steps, perhaps it could help you, if not, you must talk with HTC support.
First, use modaco's nodata to disable HSDPA/3G, use only GSM, it's much better to save battery. the link :http://www.modaco.com/content/pocket-pc-software/246171/new-free-utility-nodata/
Second: Active Sync.
You need a task manager to see notifications.
you must find one of the repllog event.
Use this http://www.dotfred.net/TaskMgr.htm.
In notifications tab find "repllog AppRunAfterTimeChange" and disable it.
In my case I have disabled two events more, PushInternetScheduleTimeChanged and PushInternetScheduleTimeChanged1 and everything works fine.
After that, in process tab, if repllog appears, kill it, and in notifications tab find again the event "repllog.exe /remote /h",disable too, and use a reg editor (dot's taskmgr has one) and search in hkcu\software\microsoft\ActiveSync, find "KeepAlive" and you must change 1 to 0.
In this case, activesync will never start again, till you connect td2 to laptop or pc with activesync (it changes the value from 0 to 1).
I hope you could understand me and the info is ok for your td2.
Regards

in settings->communications->phone->advanced->band
I've gsm and gsm(900+1800)umts(900+2100).

Hi,
How many % battery power do you loose, when you are asleep over night, in "Flight Mode" ?
I have a battery drop of 33 % in 6, hrs...
How many % loss is normal/expected in 6-8 hours?
Very little, knowing that with phone on and data connected a night is about 5-10%...
You have a program that prevents the phone from entering standby, i.e processor is running all night for nothing.

Interresting, but my task manager shows nothing...
I have now downgraded the ROM and Radio to stock HTC settings, giving the following spec:
Manila: 2.5.19211619.0
ROM: 1.48.409.1(71294)NOR
Radio: 2.05.51.05
Protocol: 15.28.50.07U
My friend has the same spec, and he charge his phone every 3-4 days...
If you are losing more than about 5% in flight mode over night then something that tells us that your problem is not wifi/bluetooth/3G related and therefore a CPU cycle issue. First thing I'd do is do a soft reset just before you test it again to clear any programs from memory which are taxing the CPU and see if that improves things. The second thing that I would do is REMOVE (not error check to know that this is the problem before solving it) the micro sd card as file problems there will make the HD2 go crazy.
I can only suggest the traditionnal:
- Task 29
- Flash a GOOD custom (won't advertise)
- Find the RADIO suitable for your AREA (no flight mode intended)
- Stop installing those pesky nasty feet-coded background service relied programs rolleyes unless you're willing for the tradeoff
- Don't overmod either....
Since I installed CHT 2.0 battery drain is terrible: 20% lost in 10 hours during night, with all data connection off.
I have enabled three battery status indicators for battery temp, voltage and current: could some one please tell me what would be the correct values for a normal battery life?
Thanks

To be honest, 80% battery after 10 hours is not bad...
I had a problem with battery only lasting 5 hours - turned out to be a faulty SD card...
Which ROM have you installed?

yeah but actually before CHT2.0 I had 5% of drain in 8 hours, so jumping to 20% in 10 hours looks quite bad to me...
I have stock rom ita 1.66.408.1 with radio 2.15.50.14
AFAIR monitoring widgets caused increased power consumption on my device,
what I'd suggest is installation of BattClock, which can display current (mA) usage, and checking what is idle usage with and without those widgets (or adding one by one until you find the culprit). Normally, idle power consumption - i.e. the mA you see after turning the device on - should be somewhere around 2-8 mA.

that's what I guessed but was not sure... I have uninstalled and reinstalled CHT 2.0 with no monitoring widgets and i have now installed batlog, so that tonite I will start the log and see what happens
how about cookie 1.85?
same battery drain or less?

I have verufied: with only batlog running for logging, pushmail off but 3g on, I have a constant -75mA drainage

a little bit too much I would think... shouldn't it be around -5mA in standby mode?
Solution
Hey there,
did you find any solution? I got the same problem.
With 3G and maybe 20minutes call I had about 10% loss per day. But with cht 2.0, it is about 25% per day without any programs running. When I check the CPU usage with battery clock, it's jumping on idle today screen between 8 and 40%. It is always over 100mA with 20% backlight and NO program running, just showing the home screen. That can't be normal. With old CHT no problems like that. Best was definitly without using CHT at all. Manila crashes around 1 time a week.
Regards
How many desktops are u using ?
3 upper and 3 lower. But the lower ones are just direct links that extend full. so let's say 3 times the stock desktop.
Are you using many widgets that requires internet connection ?
100mA with screen on (even with low light) is absolutely normal and ok.
Do you remember how huge our screen is?
I think your problem is caused by CHT, the effects use too much CPU-power.
I a think of the same problems when I was using WM.
Well,
like I told before, without CHT I never had these battery drains!
Which effects do you mean? Just 16 more direct links, nothing else? That's a bad joke of software programming...
And it's also not the storage card. With it taken out it's the same.
I don't use any widgets for internet connection, 3g/2g/phone switch off does also not change a thing. It is really just CHT.
I use my hd2 for navigation, some chats and phone, internet like never. I dont need that facebook/twitter/weather **** on my phone.
I will go back to stock and just add all my small used tools via startmenu. Don't care about slappy programmed cht.
Is there an alternate tool just to get some more levels for desktop, nothing else?
Regards
Take a look for SPB Mobile Shell. I think there is a trial version, you can check if that will resolve your issues.
[:german:] Schau mal nach SPB Mobile Shell, das ist eine Alternative zu Sense, vielleicht löst das deine Probleme.
I ve used cht 2.0 and I didn t notice more power drain. As I remember there are some settings for animations, try to disable extra animations. I am not sure if cht creates error logs. Try to look for logs from CHT maybe you have something corrupted.
