Please help with BT audio problem - Wing, P4350 General

I have installed the "Open Touch v4.0 Biggy | WM 6.1 | Vista Style | Voice Speed Dial | No Voice Command" version on my P4350 and it's working great.
But I am having a problem and I can't find a solution for it.
I have my P4350 paired to my HP laptop with Vista Home premium using bluetooth.
The laptop has discovered all the services of the P4350 incl. the telephone audio gateway.
The Vista laptop config shows that the "voice gateway" is connected (telephone audio gateway)
My problem is that...
When someone is calling me, the laptop automatically answers the call and I can hear through the speakers of the laptop the voice of the person who is calling me but he/she can't hear me.
I've checked many times all available audio config settings on the laptop... the mic on the laptop is working (checked with MSN).
I've also checked all settings known to me of the P4350 (bluetooth, audio etc )
The P4350 BT icon shows that it is connected with the laptop and when I check the settings is says that the used BT profile on the P4350 is "headset"
Could it be possible that the automatically chosen BT profile is the problem of the "one way audio" problem. ?
Because, I have a Becker carkit and when the P4350 is connected to it, it shows that the BT profile is "Hands Free" and that profile is working great.
What can I do to make the P4350 choose for the "hands free" profile instead of the "headset" profile ?

You should have a 'Connect' button on your headset... check your manual. I have a diferent headset, but on mine I short-press the power button and an icon appears at the top of the screen.
This topic has been discussed quite a bit. Please use the forum's SEARCH feature. It's quite useful at times. AVRCP, for one, will not work unless you're using a media player that actually supports it, such as MortPlayer.
@sesaru
i use this headphones on X01HT too. just bought few days ago. if you want engilish manual for this pm me. push play pause in your headphones then open media player. this will open A2DP music mode (Wireless Stereo). AVRCP works with media player i dont know any other work one. imusic and gsplayer dosent work. if you push dark blue bar button you will open HFP (hands free). i have bad news too. i cant get good quality of sound. there is some noise when i listen music with it. user manual write it can be about 2.4 ghz wireless device. like microwave oven, wireless LAN and cordless telephone. all thing is what tokyo is haven of them. you must be 10m far from all of them. and this is mean i must to go 10m away tokyo to listen clear music. if you get good quality pls write me. i hope all this will help you.
Just to confirm i have these headphones and they work with all my windows mobile devices.
My hermes is WM5 but they work fine with my Universal with WM6
Someone already said it but yeah pushing the play pause button re-pairs them for a2dp. I think sometimes i push it twice to get it to do it.
Hello,
I fixed when I updated to WM6. But sounds is not good, so I installed Widcomm stack. But I have a new problem.
After install Widcomm stack (I have Windows Mobile VI - BLACK EDITION v1.2 but also happended with WM6 for Hermes LVSW Edition), I can't sync via USB. My computer don't detect the Hermes! Is if like I didn't connect to it.
Any idea?

Oh!! I just realised now I can't switch on the phone module of the comm manager (>_<) So It doesn't work; I give up.
Can you post where exactly is the fix for this? I'm reading a lot, but I can't find it ...
Hello,
What I did is this:
I installed WM6 ROM in my X01HT and WC Stack. After That, I did this:
1. Close BT Manager and turn BT off.
2. Open registry (need Resco Registry plug-in) and make the following changes (no need of soft reset after them):
[HKLM\Software\Widcomm\BTConfig\Applications\0001]
Change ComPortNumber from 8 to 7
[HKLM\Software\Widcomm\BTConfig\Services\0001]
Change ComPortNumber from 9 to 6
Rename [HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\Serial8] to [HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\Serial6] and change these subkeys acordingly
"FriendlyName"="Bluetooth Serial Port COM6:"
"DeviceArrayIndex"=dword:00000006
"Index"=dword:00000006
When you have changed this, suspend (off) the PDA for a few seconds and turn it on again. Then goto Bluetooth Settings- Services-Serial Port-Advanced and verify that thet ports that Widcomm is using are 6 & 7
But now I can't switch on the phone App. When I open the Comm App, and push the "Phone" button, it didn't start.
Please, somebody let me know what I'm doing bad.
Thanks
Cesar

Use PC as Bluetooth Headset?

Hi guys,
I'd like to use my laptops speakers and microphone as a 'bluetooth headset / handsfree device' so I can talk without having the phone in my hand.
Is this possible to do ?
I am using the Soliel 2.3 bluetooth stack with a Broadcom USB BT dongle which does appear to show 'bluetooth headset' as a service but my Wizard only shows 'serial port' as being an available service.
I'm currently using the NBD 8.0 rom..
Any suggestions appreciated!
does nobody know, or is this just not possible ?
I do think it's possible...
Hey,
i am using Jaguar's 3.1 and when i set up all my BT connections i saw the following in my list of connections to my PC: Serial, dial up net and headset. just for kicks cause i've been down about my rom project not turning out so good i messed with it and it works...somewhat. i say that because it was kinda choppy but that might have been 'cause i had both phones in the same room.

Using PC as a headset

Hi,
Having found this cool software to drive my v1615 from my pc (http://www.raspberrysoftware.com/trueconnect.htm) I would like to be able to use the speakers/mic on the laptop for GSM phone calls.
I have an HP Pavillion running Vista and v1615
I thought maybe I could use bluetooth headset options (as this appears as a service on both handset and PC) but don't see how to do it
Any ideas on ANY way to achieve this?
On you pda, go to bluetooth setting, go to Devices tab, and then click on the computer you want to use as hand free and select set as Hand free.
You computer ad pda need to be paired first.
Working like a charm for me.
Good luck
I stream via A2DP to the computer in my car sometimes as well. Works nice.
I do this, but I can only hear the voice from the laptop. The input device is not recognzied as my microphone, but instead as the "bluetooth headset" and no voice input is detected there.
Any ideas?
You probably have to go in the input recording properties.
Double click the speaker icon in you system tray (bottom right icon) in the taskbar.
In the options menu of the Volume controller, select properties and in the mixer device, select the input you use for your microphone (usually you sound card name with input at the end, not the bluetooh one.), the Recording tick box should now be selected, and now click ok button.
Now you can select what input you want to use, select microphone and adjust volume.
You may also have to check the your bluetooth configuration on your laptop to allow this connection, but this should be ok as you can already hear sound on laptop speaker
I'm on Windows Vista. I can see "Headset Microphone" and "Microphone" (this one resembles my Realtek HD Audio mic). There is no way (that I have discovered so far) to make the Headset Microphone (whose device is called: "Bluetooth Hands-free Audio") take input from the Microphone.
The devices are paired and the headset option is enabled for the computer (and the computer has A2DP as a BT service for the device - no other autio options available) Have selected Set as hands-free against the pc on the handset. But still doesn't give me the option to Turn on hands-free when I'm on a call - any ideas?

bluetooth - calls yes music no

Could anyone help me please - my blutooth headset is paired with X1 and I can make phone calls but the music which I normally listened too vi amy Kaiser is not possible
What do I have to change ????
start > settings > connections > bluetooth >
hold down your bt headset's name > select set as wireless stereo
berlinberlin here is frankfurt
The only option which get offered headet - nothing else
Man, how can we tell yr problem w/o even specify the model of yr headset?
Both my Sony DS-205 and Jvc BT-1 works fine w/ music. I bet you are not using a A2DP headset here
It is a motorola h680
and it worked on the Kaiser
the motorola h680 doesn't support A2DP, so this is not a xperia problem...
On Kaiser, it works because there is tool to enable it (forget the name). U can try if it works on x1. But like what I said, it's not x1's problem if you are try to using headset only device on x1 for music
I have paired my HBH-DS980 to X1i, but have only got the Wireless Headset and Hands-Free services. How do I add in the A2DP and AVRCP services?
These were working perfectly on my SE P1i.
use Homescreen plusplus 1.06 (www.chi-thai.info)
then activate the traylunch, so you can aktivate A2DP on the today screen
I did it and I can`t hear music - and - I researched on the Motorola - is is able to run a2dp !!!
Interesting - I could listen to music with this bluetooth device with KAISER but now ....only the phone function is working ...

using Vista to recive phone calls from another bluetooth enabled handset?

Hi all, has anyone managed to get the device working to recive calls over bluetooth on the vista side from a WM based handset?
I know with the bluetooth stack for XP you get an option when pairing your device (on PDA) to select audio gateway, have not got that with default vista drivers.
Have installed Toshiba's BT stack and that gave me audio straming fo rmusic, but no audio gateway for voice calls. Have tried a brodcomm and that does have an option on the vista bluetooth settings side for audio gateway, but when you select it it says parametere failed. On the PDA you only have active sync as selctable service.
Has anyone used voice over bluetooth with the shift from any PDA transfering voice to handheld..?
whats it like? does it mute any audio thats being played?
thanks
