Hi all, has anyone managed to get the device working to recive calls over bluetooth on the vista side from a WM based handset?
I know with the bluetooth stack for XP you get an option when pairing your device (on PDA) to select audio gateway, have not got that with default vista drivers.
Have installed Toshiba's BT stack and that gave me audio straming fo rmusic, but no audio gateway for voice calls. Have tried a brodcomm and that does have an option on the vista bluetooth settings side for audio gateway, but when you select it it says parametere failed. On the PDA you only have active sync as selctable service.
Has anyone used voice over bluetooth with the shift from any PDA transfering voice to handheld..?
whats it like? does it mute any audio thats being played?
thanks

Is it possible to access and dial the phone from AT commands sent through a bluetooth conncection? The intent is to dial the phone for a voice call through a Bluetooth connection from Windows XP and pick up the call on a Bluetooth headset conncect to the WM2003 Phone device.
Is there an application which already does this?
there is the pda remote free from ms dont know if it works with bluetooth though
if it depend on activesync then i guess it's just a matter of sync'ing with bluetooth and use the program
Hi,
Creating a bluetooth partnership between my computer and htc Tytn, I saw that I have the possibility "set as wireless stereo" on this partnership...
I guess the idea is to play sounds on my computer speakers, which would be nice, but it doesn't seem to work (nothing happens)...
I had some problem using active sync via bluetooth so maybe it's just my bluetooth drivers.
Has anyone tried that before? Does it work?
Thanks

I too have tried this but it did not work. I set it up on a computer at work so that I can play music through the PC speakers and no joy. It seams to connect and I even get the stereo BT icon on the PPC, but no audio is heard. No sound comes out of the device or the PC. So it seams that the device is sending the sound, but the PC is not playing it.
I will add that this was on vista but I have a feeling that it does not work properly on XP either, do to the fact that its a widcomm stack.

Hi,
I've recently upgraded to a vista laptop which has much better bluetooth ability. My computer shows my phone as having 'Voice Gateway' capability. Also, in Skype etc, one of the audio devices is a bluetooth headset. I tried connected to my phone with the voice gateway, and it connected, resulting in Skype switching over to the bluetooth headset. However, I get no sound in/out of my phone. My guess is it needs some kind of software running on the phone, is anyone able to point me in the right direction?
Essentially I want to be able to use my phone as a bluetooth headset for skype, and from the computer end, it looks like it can do that...
Thanks
I have installed the "Open Touch v4.0 Biggy | WM 6.1 | Vista Style | Voice Speed Dial | No Voice Command" version on my P4350 and it's working great.
But I am having a problem and I can't find a solution for it.
I have my P4350 paired to my HP laptop with Vista Home premium using bluetooth.
The laptop has discovered all the services of the P4350 incl. the telephone audio gateway.
The Vista laptop config shows that the "voice gateway" is connected (telephone audio gateway)
My problem is that...
When someone is calling me, the laptop automatically answers the call and I can hear through the speakers of the laptop the voice of the person who is calling me but he/she can't hear me.
I've checked many times all available audio config settings on the laptop... the mic on the laptop is working (checked with MSN).
I've also checked all settings known to me of the P4350 (bluetooth, audio etc )
The P4350 BT icon shows that it is connected with the laptop and when I check the settings is says that the used BT profile on the P4350 is "headset"
Could it be possible that the automatically chosen BT profile is the problem of the "one way audio" problem. ?
Because, I have a Becker carkit and when the P4350 is connected to it, it shows that the BT profile is "Hands Free" and that profile is working great.
What can I do to make the P4350 choose for the "hands free" profile instead of the "headset" profile ?
Does anyone know if this phone will support MAP for bluetooth? still looking for an android phone that will work in canada that has this bluetooth profile.
Need an android phone that fully works with sync
Same question here.
Has anyone tried this with ford sync and had text messaging work over bluetooth?
I just paired this with my Win7 x64 laptop running a Motorola BT 3.0 adapter, and I see the following services on the SGS2:
Headset Gateway
Object Push
Handsfree Gateway
BRCM Advanced Audio
AV Remote Control Target
PBAP Server
SIM Access
PnP Information
and I see an option to "Synchronize PIM Data with Phone Book Access".
