i hate the process to connect with my bluetooth headset
Comm Manager -> Settings ->
Bluetoth Settings -> Devices ->
klick -> set as wireless stereo
gives any app to do this with one klick or one button ???
What headset are you using? I have Logitech wireless stereo headset. I connect it like this:
1. Turn headset on.
2. Press button on the headset once.
3. Headset says "beep" and bluetooth audio is connected
What the button?
I have four on my Sonorix
Only three on Logitech and two of them are volume controls so it's easy
This also doesn't seem to work on my i-Phono Minis, does anyone have a small app that switches this or knows of the API call needed to get the wireless headset to kick on?
Thanks,
Jon.
It's an A2DP issue. Some headphones connect, others do not.
The HP FA303/Logitech headset is one that works. The Moto HT820 is another but has an annoying high frequency distortion. I believe the Jabra BT620 also works correctly but I haven't personally verified this.
My I-Tech S35 BT Headphone adapter
I have to go thru the same process to get a2dp wireless stereo working.
Comm Manager -> Settings ->
Bluetoth Settings -> Devices ->
klick -> set as wireless stereo
I have tried shortcuts using vijays excellent app, but end up getting the wireless headset audio instead of full blown stereo.. there must be a better solution to this..

I´m using the I-Tech Blueband
and i think i had see a BT-stark to connect with one button but i don´t find it..
This issue is very likely one of the reasons why A2DP was never officially released.
i think Buzz have write a little tool to do this but it´s hard to find it on the big forum...

That doesn't make much sense - the reason why they didn't release technology was because it took too many steps to turn on? You wouldn't remove a room from a house just because the contractor put the switch in an inconvient location...
no... the reason it wasn't ever officially released was because of inconsistent device support. Some headphones connect just fine (HP, Logitech, moto) and others don't. Some headsets sound just fine (HP, Logitech) and other's don't (Moto HT820).
Hey guys. I had a moto ht820 (or whatever) and they connected automatically when they were turned on, but crashed frequently when getting calls. Now I have BT620s (jabra) and they work nice However I do have to go and connect them (sux).
So I am posting in hopes that VJ will see this and write a quick connect for the STEREO BT headset like he wrote the other one for Hands Free.

I'm experience the same problem i have a2dp on my device (mda vario) but everytime i'll have to go to bluetooth, device's, select the headset and set as wireless stereo. isn't there a way to do this automatic?
Becouse it's really bugging me. i have the jabra 620
I have been using for awhile the Moto HS850 and have been able to initiate calls (via voice command), answer calls, etc.
Not too long ago, I went and purchased a H700 (for the noise reduction). For the life of me, I couldn't get the initiate call via VC to work, and it works perfectly with the HS850!
Does anyone have any idea why I would not be able to get the H to work?
Hey guys,
is now a solution out there to connect with one button
the jabra bt620 ??

zehn

Hi,
Just a quick question. My Moto HT 820 also works both playing music and working as head set. Unfortunately it's mono .
For the tests I've set the wizard to connect to Moto only as wireless stereo but
it keeps playing mono
Is that my issue or general ?
I run MX6r3
cheers
hi
I want to hear tomtom instructions over BT. ive got the AKU 2 update done, but when i try and enable wireless stereo my bluetooth headset or car handsfree has the wireless stereo option greyed out.
Im not after good music quality, just tomtom saying turn left etc.

1, use the A2DP hack. See for example http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=1307&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 (the "Adding A2DP (and AVRCP) support to the HTC Wizard" section)
2, if mono phone headset "quality" is sufficient, give a try to either BTAudio ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=280353 ) or BlueMusic (see my articles).
Hi,
I realise this is slightly off topic, but this forum has been extremely helpfull to me before and i bought my bluetooth headset for my Kaiser.
I would like to use my Headset (Sony HBH DS980) to listen to music and use skype. i linked it to my Notebook and had no problems with that, but i dont know how to convince the notebook to play the audio on the headset.
if i check the properties of my headset in the bluetooth settings, i cant see any services, the headset is listed as an "audio device" though.
many thanks in advance,
t
Go to ; Start , Settings , Control panel , Sound and Audio devices, go to the tab : Audio and select @ Sound Playback ; Default device your bluetooth hands-free audio and if it is a headset also @ Sound Recording default device ; Bluetooth Hands-free Audio.
Hope this helps you.
Hi!
I have that great motorola T305 bluetooth speaker
the problem that I can only hear the phone calls with that device,
I want to hear any audio output from my diamond throught the Motorola speaker
BTW
The only profile that I can config to that device (from the menu) is HeadSet
HOW CAN I DO IT?
Thanks!!!
Hello Alan111
I had the same problem with mine. Have you tried to touch long on the Bluetooth profile "Motorola Speaker) till you can choose between Edit / delete / use as headset / use as bluetooth headphone (I hope my translation is correct, because my phone works with german language) Choose the last point. This should work. If not, perhaps the profile is not supported by your Motorola speaker.
I hope I could help you.

If the motorola unit supports A2DP bluetooth profile you need to pair it to the HTC with that as well as headset/handset. If it does not then you need to run a workaround app on the HTC, such as BTMusic, so that the HTC will send out other sounds using the handset/headset profile. The trouble is that the sound quality is mono and very poor with this profile (it was only designed for phone conversations) and music will sound awful.
However it is fine for sat nav instructions and warnings - I am using BTMusic with Tom Tom 6 for example and pairing it with my Parrot CK3300 so handsfree phone and sat nav comes through my car audio.
delete my post please.
I have a problem with my phone and my bluetooth handsfree system in my car that I cannot get solved - I really wonder why I could not find any advice - or at least working advice...
I use my xperia as a navigation system (Navigon to be precise) and I want to hear the announcements of the Navigon lady through my car radio, which should then lower the volume of the playing music that I can understand the announcements. Just like a normal phone call!
This basically means. I want to have All sounds of the xperia through the handsfree bluetooth profile - NOT through the Stereo Headset (A2DP) profile!
There are some programs that offer this functionality, for instance BT-Audio and Chartcross BTARouter. But they don't work on my xperia
By the way: Normal calls work fine and it also works fine if I use A2DP connection to my radio (but then I don't have my music anymore). I tested different ROMs.
I hope someone has a bit of advice, a few tips or eben a solution available
Equipment in the car:
Radio: Alpine iDA-X305
BT Adapter: KCE-400BT
