Pls help ti solve NO GSM problem!

Could anyone can help me to solve No GSM poblem. I think there are many other users have same problem.
After it faild during update rom, My HP6915 represent NO GSM during booting and the phone funcation also doesn't work. But in HP Asset you can see it, just no firmware, no version number. I try to flash english radio rom and french radio rom, but always stop at 1%. This matter appeared after I flashed orange rom(french version). I think it locked by Orange.
Does any one can help us?

Yes, I update without sim card and minisd. Always stop at 1%

to be on the safe side i will go over general insraction
battery full
recomended xp os & activesync 4.5 (not beta)
minsd & sim out
ac addapter connected (ac power from orig transformer)
hart reset your device before the update
connect device directly to computer's usb plug
run the update
try radio only &/or the all update you can also try on a different pc
if all didn't work read this and see if you can find somthing that works on the 6900

I tried but still same, stop at 1% when I flash Radio WAN OS, stop at 2% when I flash Radio FS. I tried to unlock simlock and CID unlock, but it doesn't work on my 6965

called a few places looks like the radio chip is fried. sorry man...not looking good.

try update again with this method
I got almost same problem. I tried to update GSM rom but update fail and my ipaq stuck at hp invent logo. try following steps to see if it works for you
Solution:
this is what I did to get this fixed.
1) Get the battery out of the iPaq, and wait for a few minutes while the "serial" image fades away slowly.
2) In the meantime, prepare your cradle, plugged into the AC charger and plugged via USB to your PC.
3) After a few minutes, with the screen of the iPaq completely gray, put the battery and battery cap back on (with our without SIM card), and put it on the cradle immediately.
4) The iPaq should start coming back to life, as if it were being hard reset. Let is stay on the welcome screen (i.e., do not tap it or anything).
5) Restart the upgrade process, it should proceed from there OK

actualy. I met the same problem "No GSM" after wrong update. I thing I tried everything, but I Didn't try to flash the device via mini-sd card. I don't know the right address for GSM area. Did anyone know?

Wifi issues, will not turn on

After flashing with a new ROM etc..
When I go into communications, and tap on wifi.....it turns on for a sec and then turns back off. Any suggestions?
Here is what I have done so far.....
Started with: Radio v. 1.39.00, ROM V. 2.13.656.2, Bootloader 1.2
Went to bootloader 2.40(via Hard-SPL-MF.exe), Scrosler's Titan ROM 3.26 w/touchflow. and then Radio 3.42.30.

I have this problem too, after upgrading to newer ROM, my Wi-fi became disabled (won't turn on) could you show me step by step how to solve this problem, you said "changed the battery power option under wireless to berst performance" could you please show me how to do it, cause i don't know how to do, i've been looking around the forum to find the solution for this problem..

my wizard wifi won't turn on

i've had wm6.1 4 a while and the problem was that whenever i try to switch on wifi from the comm manager that round working hourglass shows and then it doesnt turn on , i dunno what happens but the symbol of wlan with the little x on it are still the same
i downgraded back to wm5 2.26 and the same problem then i installed the official T-mobile 3.08 rom and still the same problem
worthy to mention that the official ruu didnt work wz error 326 so i had to extract the nk.nbf and cook the rom again and it worked
does this mean that my wlan hardware is faulty ?
or is it a software problem ?
does anyone have the same problem? can u plz help me ?
i searched all aroud the forum and i tried to hard reset my t-mobile vario several times and still doesnt work

I'm having the same issue with my acer f900. The wifi has been sporadic, and doesn't seem to turn on with comm manager. When you go to settings/connections/wifi all you get is a configure network adapters page. All of the the settings seem to be correct, but it doesn't show any wireless networks.

Ipaq 614c wifi missing

Hello all.
I have problem with WIFI.
When I look into SETTINGS/CONNECTIONS/WIRELESS MANAGER, I´m missing WIFI there => Only Bluetooth and Phone is shown.
I try reflash radio (0.89), original ROM, some ROMs from KEYX but nothing happened
After reset to factory settings still nothing.
Could you please help me with this?

what happened to cause it to be missing?
did you flash the phone witha new ROM? install a program recently?
Have yuo tried doing a FULL backup then a hard reset?

Yes I think that wifi just disappear after some ROM flashing.
But I try to flash all ROMs which I have before and WIFI not appear again in no one ROM.
I try hard reset without backup(by the menu factory reset and by voice comm+power+reset) with same result - wifi missing.

Hi,
My current rom removes wifi from the list when its connected to usb or activesync. When I unplug it automatically goes back to the state it was before, either powered off or on_and_connected!
Also, use radio rom 0.89, with 0.88 and 6.5 i had no wifi, it was present in the list but could not see any SSID's.

Yes I know wifi can´t activate (grey text) when its plugged to USB.
But in my case don´t matter if its plugged or unplugged - WIFI option is missing(not only with grey text)
radio is 0.89 and OS is 6.5 so there is something else broken

Not that this would help much, but I had a similar issue with my 914c while using HP's default OEM 6.1 software. The Wi-Fi used to vanish from the Comm. Manager every so often. For what it's worth, a couple of soft-resets would fix the problem sooner or later (for me, anyway). I'm using Montecristo's 6.5 now and haven't had the problem since.

Yea friend soft resets - I did it thousand-times, even hard resets 1000x not help...

I usually run into the same problem after ROM updates. Switch it off, remove the battery for a minute, insert the battery back in and hard reset fixes it always.

Not working WiFi is a radio problem, not ROM. Link that i gave will downgrade your radio to 0.88, then you can flash any rom
PS. Montecristo ROM ?? It is for 914...

oh I miss that so next flashing will be with keyx roms still

After flash original HP ROM phone always show message problem with DEVICE.EXE until I disable sending report.
When i flash some KEYX 6,5 ROM this message doesn´t appear but when I look onto task manager DEVICE.EXE is mostly of the time under 90% of CPU.
With this battery is drain too quickly too.
This is may be the bad trick :/
Somebody knows it ?

I had the same problem with 23001 Beta 13.2 WWE, the WiFi was initially disappear from my Wireless Manager, then i change this : my network card connects to - The Internet (default is work), and the WiFi is now again show in Wireless Manager, but can not switch on, so after soft reset it works ok...

Zemun_PFC : thanks you for your advice - its so close to solve my issue.
I did what you say and
1) after soft restart BLUE LED blinking(means some wireless active - BT was off before restart so I suggest WIFI will be working) BUT
2) when i go to SETTINGS/CONNECTIONS/COMM MANNAGER and click on wifi -> waiting icon then nothing happened - STILL only TURN ON - BUT SHOULD BE ON already => so on/off trigger doesnt work
3!!) when I´m in COMM MANAGER and click on SETTINGS in bottom right corner I see WIRELESS LAN - this not happened before!!
4 when I´m click on it it show only BLUETOOTH and PHONE settings :/

some of my roms (older version) had a issue when you use a2dp and turn off bt. Restart then device.exe will take most of the cpu

Keyx : yes you are right - I flash another one from you, now is device.exe issue cleared.

signal drop!

i have problem, when i put my polaris into my pocket or in a bag, the signal bar turns to ! icon ("No Status").
is it hardware thing or radio?
i had flash it into 3 different rom and dowbgrade radio but, still i got this experience....

have you any signal when the device is up ?
Have you try upgrade radio instead cause 6.1 and 6.5 need newer radio try 1.65.30.09

Do you always have the problem if you turn your phone into "gsm only" mode ?
When did you discover this problem? After a flash or something?

for a week from now.... try to up and downgarde but still same problem.... try gsm mode or turn off HSDPA..... i have no idea... but today got worst, suddenly no simcard detected... reset it, replace simcard... it turn up many time.

Ha ve you tried your simcard in another phone , maybe she is dead
