Is there any other program alternative to activesync?
Regards,
Primoz
guys, i've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling activesync 3.7.1 and 3.8 ... i still can't sync ... could it be the sync cable ? but when i connect the cable the mini's battery meter shows that it is charging ... but still, it is not syncing with the PC ...
The cable is just a standard mini usb cable, they are cheap, so you could try another one. But I rather think it is some usb isue on the desktop machine.
guys, thanks for the replies ... i just used a different usb cable and now the mini and my desktop syncs perfectly
There might have been some bad electrons stuck in the old cable...

mini-usb to external drive ?

Hello everyone....
While reading a review about toshiba g900 i noted that it was possible to hook up the unit to a usb flash drive or an external usb hard disk unit using the mini-usb port...
Is that possible on the i-mate , using an appropriate cable and software ?? is it natively supported ??
not on wizard( vide google: host usb).
host usb is what sad devices are lacking(besides overall power) novadays.
was used sometimes in golden era of PPC's.
i mean is that possible on i-mate kjam aka wizard or any imate device for that matter

No, it is not possible since the unit does not have the required hardware for it
Hmmm... One extra reason to get that toshiba i guess .. ... If only there was a toshiba-developers forum LOL ... BTW is there any HTC device with the mentioned host USB capability ??

[Q] [SOLVED] HP HW6915 usb cable pinout

Hi to you all! Please provide me a schematic of this type of cable. I ordered one from a site and it won't work. I'd like to try to upgrade to WM6.1 and I don't have a working cable. Please give me at least a pinout for this PDA. The one that's on pinouts.ru - I don't think it's good for this model.
Thanks a lot!
No answer yet? I got another USB cable from provider, which is also not good, even though it has "usb detect" and USB data + and USB data - pins present.. It just says " unrecognized usb device" please! I want to upgrade to Windows mobile 6.1, that's all I wanna do. thanks a lot to anybody who will answer.
Why do you think that there is something wrong with the cable?
It's quite possible that connector on iPAQ is bad.

Hi!
It turned out I was doing something wrong. The phone needed to be in bootloader mode so that the drivers provided into this forum to work properly. Thus, I can confirm that the schematics for IPAQ from pinouts.ru works just fine at least for the USB connection part. As for drivers, they are posted here in this forum.
I also attached an image with the response of that cmd command.
Thanx to You all!
Keyboard
Hi again! Anybody has a fix for keyboard issue? Key problem like: Delete function instead Enter and such... Please help!
