Hello!
I've got a big problem! I bought a used XDA Neo. I started it and it worked fine but there were some details of the former user on it and i decided to do a HARD RESET. After that the XDA started normally but after i aligned the touchscreen the "align screen"-window appears again. No matter how often i try to align it the window again and again appears. So i can't get to windows or the phone functions.
Can anyone please help me?

Hello!
I've tried to removed the batteries right after my first post. Just now i put them back into the device again....and tadaaa it works fine
Does anyone know what could have caused that problem?

I have and XDA11 which has been work fine until today.
I was finding my XDA just freezing so Isoft and hard reset and when it came back on the screen would not work.
Has any one else had this problem and was it easy to fix.
Any advise welcome.

Just to let every one know I solved the problem with my touch screen.
Solution: let both the main and back-up battery run down the reconnect to cradle and charge as is new.

what exactly was your problem with your screen? Cos I am having a problem with the touch screen - no matter where i touch it it thinks I am touching it on the far right of the screen, (I can only scroll)...
is this the same problem?
Dead Touch Screen
My problem was when I touched my screen (which looked fine-) I got no response at all the whole screen seemed dead.
Solution was to let the XDA11i back-up battery run down-then completely. I then reconnect to cradle and recharge.
This worked for me.

I recently got Imate Jam/Magician but after 4/5 days its screen alignment got out, after soft restart when it came to screen alignment it doesnt let me move on next step, it still ask me to align the screen again and again
plz help me, any one know whats the problem

Try doing a hard reset and see if you can align the screen. Then do a soft reset and see if the alignment problem has gone away..thy the soft reset again just to make sure.
If that fixes the problem then it 's likely something got corrupted or some software caused the problem.
If the problem is not fixed, ou need to get it serviced

I had that problem with my Jam until I upgraded the ROM to 1.12. Before the upgrade, I was able to fix the problem by doing a soft reset when it got stuck in the loop.
after i upgrade to the new rom

i notice a problem in the center of the screen.
it doesnt work when i tuch there with the stylus.
i dont know what to do, does anyone had this problem too?

I would try to align screen first. Go to Settings -> System -> Screen -> Align screen.
evev in the align screen i cant tuch in the middle...
strange...

Then I will do a hard reset and send it to customer care if this still exists. Good luck!

Since the rom update I'm expierincing some alignments problems.. I have to realign my screen every other day or I can't even hit the right button.
Anyone same problems or a solution?
im going back to the first rom to see if the problem is the rom or my hardware....
will post soon

Any more info on this? Mine is making me nuts - but I tried using an HTC StarTrk, even a couple of symbian-based nokias, hated all three devices and came back - only to remember why I tried to leave in the first place.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!! My future with this device depends on it!

Screen Alignment
Hi I have a Imate Jamin only 3 wks old came with the latest ROM, Have exactly the same problem if not worse. I have to realign my screen 4-5 times a day.
I have treid Hard Rest & even reinstalled the ROM (Downloaded from Clubimate.com).
Have tried to contact customer supprt from Imate but no response..........
Anyone has any ideas??????

Hi I'm using HTC P3450 (Elf01000).. Everything was fine till yesterday.
Now i have the Cube working for me but the screen doesn't respond to stylus. I'm able to activate and deavtivate cube... thats it. Nothing else works...

Have you tried a soft reset?
Have you tried realigning the screen?
What have you done to your device recently? Flashed any new Roms?, Installed any apps? Played with registry? If anyone is going to be able to help you, you have to give us some information. What ROM are you using?

I had tried aligning the screen and it got stuck there.
After a bit of googling, I was able to get past the align screen using Remote screen align, but my screen stopped responding to screen taps. Strangely I don't have any problem activating and rotating the cube.
I'm using the original Rom..

You didn't answer all of the questions from my last post. If you hadn't done anything to your device and all it did was suddenly stop responding, perhaps your screen is faulty now and needs replacing. I don't know what else it would be personally, but feel that I may not have enough experience to be able to help you further.
I am a Noob , and do not know much about the expert stuff most of you guys write about. Please help me solve a problem which I am having with my T-Mobile USA HD2 which I am using in Qatar.
It used to work well without any problem until yesterday when I was trying to load some of my old software (calligrapher, bridge, chess etc which I had purchased for iPaq a fewyears back). The bridge and chess worked fine, but after loading the old version of calligrapher, the screen froze. Soft reset 'red' button did not work, so I did a hard reset using volume control+power button and reloaded earlier software except calligrapher. The phone has started working again, but I started frequently getting an error message stating that "there is a problem with DocumentParser.exe" .The HD2 tries to connect to the Microsoft server, but then the screen freezes. I have to remove the battery and restart, but the suddenly when I am in the middle of something, the screen freezes again. There is a 593kB "DocumentParser.exe" file in the Windows folder of the phone. Will the problem go away if I replace this with another (maybe non-corrupt) file? I did a google search, but could not find the file on the net.
Can anybody please help with finding the file, or maybe suggest another solution?
Your advise will be greatly welcome.
