I recently got Imate Jam/Magician but after 4/5 days its screen alignment got out, after soft restart when it came to screen alignment it doesnt let me move on next step, it still ask me to align the screen again and again
plz help me, any one know whats the problem

Try doing a hard reset and see if you can align the screen. Then do a soft reset and see if the alignment problem has gone away..thy the soft reset again just to make sure.
If that fixes the problem then it 's likely something got corrupted or some software caused the problem.
If the problem is not fixed, ou need to get it serviced

I had that problem with my Jam until I upgraded the ROM to 1.12. Before the upgrade, I was able to fix the problem by doing a soft reset when it got stuck in the loop.

i notice a problem in the center of the screen.
it doesnt work when i tuch there with the stylus.
i dont know what to do, does anyone had this problem too?

I would try to align screen first. Go to Settings -> System -> Screen -> Align screen.
evev in the align screen i cant tuch in the middle...
strange...

Then I will do a hard reset and send it to customer care if this still exists. Good luck!

Since the rom update I'm expierincing some alignments problems.. I have to realign my screen every other day or I can't even hit the right button.
Anyone same problems or a solution?
im going back to the first rom to see if the problem is the rom or my hardware....

Any more info on this? Mine is making me nuts - but I tried using an HTC StarTrk, even a couple of symbian-based nokias, hated all three devices and came back - only to remember why I tried to leave in the first place.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!! My future with this device depends on it!

Screen Alignment
Hi I have a Imate Jamin only 3 wks old came with the latest ROM, Have exactly the same problem if not worse. I have to realign my screen 4-5 times a day.
I have treid Hard Rest & even reinstalled the ROM (Downloaded from Clubimate.com).
Have tried to contact customer supprt from Imate but no response..........
Anyone has any ideas??????

Got a weird problem with the screen on my XDA got it out of the cupboard the other day as i haven't been using it and the screen looks like it need calibrating?
But when i try to do this it doesnt seem to repond. the key board works and the actual phone??
Any ideas do i need to upgrade to the latest firmware?

Same to me also.....
my o2 xda exec also face the same problem.... starting the alignment of the screen not accurate and getting worse.... i had decide to make a hard reset, and nightmare comes to me..... after hard reset, my xda asking to align the screen and i just follow the instruction to align it.... but it was repeated asking me to align the screen and can't get into the windows...... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Somebody please rescue my xda exec....

I've got a big problem! I bought a used XDA Neo. I started it and it worked fine but there were some details of the former user on it and i decided to do a HARD RESET. After that the XDA started normally but after i aligned the touchscreen the "align screen"-window appears again. No matter how often i try to align it the window again and again appears. So i can't get to windows or the phone functions.
Can anyone please help me?

I own an HTC Touch 3G.The Touch Screen suddenly stoped working.I tried Hard Reset,then it went into the Known loop of Align Screen.I somehow managed by skipping the Align Screen using the Remote Screen Alignment Tool.
But to make my Touch Screen to work, I need the Calibration Data File which by using Remote Screen Alignment Tool i can put the alignment for my Phone (Hopefully,Not Sure)
Any Tips & Suggestions are always welcome !!!

I got problems with the touch screen also, when i press something on the screen it highlights above or below my selection, writing SMS was nightmare.So i went to htc service and they replace the "touch digitizer" and now my problems are history, everything works like charm.I think you should try that.

I have htc tytn herm300, with schap's wm6 ver.3.30c on it.So the problem is my screen. When i turn on the phone it's work fine for 1hr, and than my touch is not responding, all other keys work fine.I try with align screen and it start to work, and after few minutes same problem.I try to change rom ver. but the problem is still present, soft and hard reset too didn't give any resolt.I think that the screen is not a problem because i use this screen on my old herm300, but motherboard get bricked so i chang. it with one i use now.
i don't know what to do, so i ask all of you, the reall experts to help me.
