I reset my 8125 and supposedly relocked the CID so i could send it back to cingular
is there any way to check if it is CID locked so i can retain my warranty?
You can check it using the CID actions button in Wizard Service Tools. From what I've read on here though, the manufacturer doesn't usually check whether or not it's still CID locked anyway.
I checked it, but it shows its still unlocked. I tried using the Lokiwiz backup to restore it and it didn't work. Any ideas on how to get my CID back?

hi I tried to unblock CID becuase of invalid CID message, and the device is going on SIM LOCK state after reboot? How can i unblock this SIM lock and inblock CID also?

Had the phone sim & cid unlocked and flashed from orange to the new htc upgrade but after putting some programs on it decided to go back to standard htc settings.
Do i now need to unlock again (or everytime i reset it) or is it still unlocked?

I have been trying to unlock my 8125 I all ready sim unlocked it but every time I try to CID unlock it it saids error.
Also when that was fininshed the were 2 new bim folders one was called "cidunlocked" and the other one was "lock_backup" does this mean that it it unlocked?
More info on the actual error would help. lokiwiz.bat would create the files in the beginning; so presence of the files does not indicate success.
Are you sure that you followed all the instructions in the stick threads?

I unlocked my sim but the cid is the only one that I cant unlock
it saids error and then some numbers
then my 8125 just restarts
did you downgrade your rom prior to unlocking? higher spl/ipl's usually have more problems unlocking...
NO I havent every time i try to it said error and shut dount

In wiki they booth should Return "HTCS" + CID + (4-byte checksum) + "HTCE"
