So I think I have a bricked Wing---Help! - Wing, P4350 General

Ok so I got my wing a while ago and performed the pagepool hack on it. Worked like a charm. I subsequently performed the same action on two other Wing's (co-workers) with no problems whatsoever. Then, today, I idd the same thing on another co-workers phone and it bricked. I backtracked my steps and know I did everything right but its stuck on the splash screen. I tried soft resetting it several times but the bloody thing still stays on the T-Mob splash screen.
Anyone have any ideas or ae there any roms available for the wing? Maybe a bootloader?
Please help..
Thanks

By any chance does this phone have a Storage Card inserted? IF so take it out and reboot and see what happens.

Nope, no storage card.

Please Help: Hermes/Vodafone 1605 hangs up on startup

HELP NEEDED!
Yesterday I bought a Hermes (Vodafone 1605).
Everything was fine, I installed Opera and tried the wi-fi.
Then it locked and there was non way for turning it off. So I made a soft reset and I found out it hangs on the vodafone splash screen.
I tried a hard reset and nothing changed.
I can see some codes in the lower part of the screen as it tries to boot up but nothing happens.
I looked up some threads and tried to remove the battery for 20 mins.
It actually went over the vodafone splash screen but only to halt on the windows mobile one.
The thing that puzzles me is that I didn't mess at all with the ROMS!!!
It's exactly as it comes from the box.
Any advice and help is more than welcome....
Thx in advance
A few more details
I've been trying to get my Hermes working.
That's what I found:
Taking away the battery for some mins and hard resetting brings me to the windows mobile screen then it hangs
The same procedure but soft resetting instead of pressing space actually let the phone start but then it hangs on the screen: "Tap the screen to configure ...." etc. etc.
Still trying to figure out what's happening.
Anyone with some ideas please help me. I don't want to play with the ROMS till it's strictly NECESSARY. I can't understand why it's stopped working.
Now it works...
Repeated the procedure, soft resetting instead of pressing space.
It went smoothly and run all the Vodafone customization programs.
Now it's off and charging.
Don't know yet what was the problem. Hope it's not a problem of stability.
I'm starting blaming myself for leaving my old Tungsten.
Does anyone experienced something similar? May depend on some particular operation?
Curious, but Hermes sometimes needs to settle down. Suggest you try the following to avoid hangs/freezes as well:

I think it's the well known freeze problem...
My Hermes worked fine for a while. Then I synced it and installed Magic Button. Everything looked perfect. I left it for a while and when I came back it was off and it won't go back on. Soft resetting just causes a freeze on startup.
I guess it's some problem with activesync. I tried the fake server but I'm not sure I didi it properly. I'll try again once I wake my Hermes back up.
Hope to solve this, otherwise it's almost unusable.
It keeps freezing...
I'm getting really worried.
After some hours of normal use I experienced the "won't wake up" problem.
The strange thing is that soft reset doesn't solve the problem. Neither does the hard reset.
When I tried to soft reset it went to the bootloader page.
I need to remove the battery for about 20 mins and try a hard reset.
Sometimes it works with space reboot, sometimes it need the soft reset restart.
Then it freeze after some time.
When it doesn't work it freeze on the vodafone splash screen after showing the version numbers at the bottom of the screen.
I'm quite puzzled.
It's a brand new V1605 with S/N HT645.
Maybe that's more than an issue on it.
Any chance to improve this with a ROM upgrade?
As your device is brand new with the its original ROM, I would take it back to the store you purchased it and ask for a replacement.
They should swap it for you right away.
Not so easy..
I'd like but I bought it from ebay.
It's a brand new Vodafone UK VPA1605, but i don't think I'm eligible for any assitance (even paying) here in Italy, even if Vodafone Italy sells the same PDA.
Now I'm not even able to start it. It keeps freezing on the vodafone splash screen.
I tried several hard and soft reset (even removing the battery for 1/2 hour or so). What I cannot understand is why it's so unpredictable? It's electronics.
It should just work or doesn't work, till you change something (software or hardware).

Are you sure you actually hard reset didn't soft reset? Hard resets basically rewrite the o.s. over the old o.s. (holding down the two select buttons labeled "-" and pressing reset). If that still doesn't work, you have something fishy going on, but seeing how it seems to be a software issue, I can't imagine hard resetting wouldn't fix this. If this still doesn't work, try flashing to a new rom.
yes, I did, I had to re-install everything I had. I even need to enter my device ID through registry hack, because I can't access the setting to enter owner's name.

Hmmm, that's kind of strange, but maybe you are using a custom rom? I would try flashing to another rom.
no doug, it's the original T-Mobile ROM, that's why I got confused too. Usually when something bad happens, I hard-reset it and things would go back to normal again. I can only access the setting if I change the battery, and the setting will be accessible again for a couple minutes and unaccessible again after that. Weird huh?

That is def strange. Never heard of something like that. It def sounds like a software issue, but you ruled that out by reflashing the os. odd....

Phone stuck on white screen. need help

im not sure if its related but i upgraded my phone to windows mobile 6.5 a few weeks ago. (not sure exactly which but can find out if needed) I used oliprio spl 2.4.
everthing was working fine other than the usual bugs with custom roms but today when i woke up i tried to turn my phone on and it wouldnt start. i soft reset it and it seemed to be starting up fine until it got past the windows mobile 6.5 screen. it then went to a blank white screen. I tried soft reseting a few more times but no luck. I hard reset it after that but the same thing happened.
I tried re flashing the same rom and the 6.1 rom from htc but it wouldnt even find the phone. i tried putting a new spl on it but it wouldnt work either. ive tried flashing on the blank white screen and in the boot loader. The touch screen still sorta works. backlight comes on if i touch the screen but if i hold the power button the screen to power off comes on but cant be used
I feel like i"ve tried everything but nothing seems to get me anywhere closer to fixing it. If anyone needs more information to help me just ask. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
hmmmmm, couldn't find much

there are seriously A LOT of posts on this subject as it covers a lot of different cell phone and carriers. I posted my search link at the bottom of the links so you can see them
Seems to either be a bad flash, screen or something on the board
Good luck, hopefully it's software related

Help Please? My Wizard (Cingular 8125) is stuck on hard reset screen.

I have a HTC Wizard (Cingular 8125) that i bought several months ago. I SIM and CID unlocked the phone, installed T-Mobile's software and upgraded windows to a custom Mobile 6.5 build i got from this site. The battery was near dead the night before so i plugged it in and went to bed, woke up the next morning started using it and the windows record utility kept popping up repeatedly and recording. so i shut the device off and went to work for the day, came home and turned it on and it was stuck on the "Press Sent to restore factory default, Other keys to quit" None of the buttons work, i can take the battery out and put it back in as soon as i turn it on it returns to this screen, if i plug it in it returns to this screen. i have tried to hard reset, soft reset, charging the battery further, etc. nothing seems to work. Any advice/comments would be highly appreciated. I still owe money on this phone and im not quite ready to give up on it yet...
i just got it to sorta work this morning, keys are finnicky and software runs real buggy, im gonna reinstall windows and see if that solves it however i believe it is a hardware issue. any opinions?
once i got it going i hard reset it and updated all my software. appears to be working fine now. my build of windows must be to blame or a undiagnosed hardware problem, not sure just happy it works again
what happened?

Leo won't boot anymore

Hi everybody!
Just got my Leo two days ago and I was bombed. Had a 4350 before and you can imagine what big a difference that is. But now this occured and I really don't know what the heck is going on here. Without any reason the Leo froze after not using it for two hours, just an active sync connec. So I grabbed it and it was frozen. Thus i did a soft reset. When it rebooted, for some reason it seemed like the first time I started the device, asked me for the time and google settings etc. Very confused. But then I came to the Homescreen, which was blank, just like after a hard reset. Ok, I thought. This is nasty but all my stuff was backed up, so what. I tried to switch to the settings panel and found it ultra super slow and the settings panel wouldn't even appear on the screen, just the title on top. I thought, this is wrong, very wrong and decieded for another soft reset. And now it won't boot at all. It stands still in the screen where it shows this pink circle and the RUU and whatnot version.
I am speechless. It just doesn't start, tried it like 4 times now. I didn't update RUU or anything since this thing is T-Mobile branded and it wouldn't let me. I tried it this morning but just got the error in windows that my device won't allow... After that I took it for a 3 hour ride outside and used it for like 10 more hours. And now this!
Has this ever occured to anyone else around here?
Any suggestions? I'm quiet angry right now, think I gonna return it tomorrow. Hopefully they don't say I tried to flash it or whatever since I did not. Cannot explain this to me.
Regards,
Zoimt
hi sounds like bad news have you tried a hard reset
Do a hard reset, press the up and down volume then at the same time press the power button. Keep all three pressed for about three seconds and a hard reset will start. If it happens again you have a faulty device.
I thought a hard reset is only possible in windows. Since I never come so far in booting process, I just tried it once but nothing happend. Not sure if I tried it for 3 seconds I assume I did

Take the battery out then put it back in. Once it's in press all three buttons at once until you see the hard reset begin. It will ask you to confirm by pressing the up volume button.
Oh boy! It started again! I thought I tried to hard reset it with the key combo you also adviced me and nothing happened but this time it worked. Thus I assumed it only works at a later point in the boot process. But thanks for showing me the opposite!
Man, this takes a load off my mind, thanks! Just hope this was a one time thingy and doesn't occur every 28 hours again.

zoimt
