Hello,
I have a strange behaviour with my S620: after a while I can't connect to wifi networks. I connect to them but the network name doesn't show on today screen, in properties, Rx is set to 1Mb and I can't access internet. If I reset, everything works fine.
Thanks

I go ino my comm manager and enable wifi, then it picks up my security enabled linksys router. Which has worked in the past, the only thing thats changed since the last time i actually transfered any data over wifi, was installing my minisd sandisk card, and the .net network.
Whenever i try to hit any website, or check any mail connections setup in my out look i get...
"Cannot Connect
Cannot connect with current connection settings. To change your connection settings, tap settings"
Any suggestions?
Are other devices able to access the internet using wifi and this router?
Can you access your router with PIE? http://192.168.1.1
What are your settings in Settings>Connections>Connections>Advanced>Select Networks and Settings>Connections>Network Cards>Network Adapters ?
Try deleting your router entry from the list in
Settings>Connections>Network Cards>Wireless
Then establish a new connection with the router and when prompted choose
This network connects to the The Internet.
I have a strange problem with my HTC Trinity's WiFi. It connects to the network ok, but after stand-by mode, when I press the power on button, it just keeps discovering other WiFi networks but do not connect to my preferred (home) network automatically.
If I click Start / Settings / Connections / WiFi, then select the network and click connect, it connects ok to the network and stays connected until next stand-by, when the problem repeats.
My old iPAQ 4150 connects to the same network all the times easily, but there is a parameter Automatically connect to not-preferred networks which I keep unchecked. Now I cannot find that parameter in Windows Mobile 5.
Any ideas?
I have an identical problem, and it's driving me crackers each time I come out of standby it finds and trys to connect to every other network other than mine! It's a complete pain to open comm manager each time to select my network.
Does anybody please have the solution?
Thanks

I have a qtek9100, and have experienced problems connecting to a wlan. First of all, my phone doesn't show all the available wi-fi, when i tap network adapters it only shows one or none available wireless network (eventough there are several lan available). after I choose connect the network appears as unavailable. and couldn't connect to wifi
Since I flashed the official new o2 Rom (1.57.207.1 (47324) GER) I've had the following Problem.
1. My Dial-up Connection works fine.
2. I configure my HD to use my home WLAN network. As it does not use DHCP I configured a static IP for my Wifi-connection. It connects fine and all applications use WLAN and work as they should.
3. Now I disconnect WLAN through connection center or another methode.
4. If I try to use my Dial-up connection now, it seems to connect fine to the network, but I cannot access any webpage through a browser or check my emails through outlook or anything. Opera just presents me an Error page.
5. If I disconnect my dial-up connection, delete the static IP settings from my WLAN-Adapter, set it to use DHCP for Wifi and reconnect dial-up everything works fine again.
I checked my dial-up settings, everything is set to automatic ip from server, but it still seems to be influenced by the Wifi settings.
If anyone has any solution to this problem, your help would be greatly appreciated, as it is pretty annoying to have to set the ip-settings everytime i want to use Wifi.
I tried a hard reset today, that didn't help either.
My phone has the following configuration:
ROM:1.57.207.1 (47324) GER
Radio: 1.12.25.16d3
Protokoll: 52.60.25.33h
Thank you very much.
