I had mms working on my imate jasjam but now it is gone from the pda completely, and I am unable to get it back has any one got a telstra mms cab that i can load onto it to fix the problem??? I have also tried the I-Mate JasJam 1.31.305.103 ExtROM - Telstra Australia Specific. This did not fix the problem

I got a major problem when i upgrading my Qtek1010 to PPC 2003..
It works really good until the machine goes on suspend or i try to reboot.
I can't get it to restart, it's like the "on button" is broken. If i press soft reset the machine boots up really fine OR if i open and close the sim card holder...
Does anybody have a clue over what's wrong? I have been trying to find the answer on the forum but with no luck...

Thanks for the help, the phone is working now, except for one thing.. GPRS!!
Vodafone has made som upgrade on GPRS so QTEK want's me to send the phone to service... There should be a way to solve this without sending the phone... Do you have any idea? Maybe it's the radio that needs upgrading?
do you have the right settings for vodaphone where you live ?
often you have to manualy setup such settings in connections after a rom upgrade
you can try search for which settings vodaphone use
I've tested different settings, but i don't think that's the problem. i think that i have to use the right radiostack or something like that to get it to work..

I tried to look for a solution but nothing came up from the SE.
Recently i have access to a Qtek 9090 but i expierence the following, when i activated Wifi after a hardreset i can perfectly connect to the Network. But when i disconnect and want to access the same network again it doesn't work. I have to hardreset the Pocket Pc and then it is working.
Did anyone have the same problem and found a solution for it. The Qtek 9090 is a proximus collection device supplied through brightpoint and has 1.22 Rom version.

I know you said you tried the cabs already, but when I upgraded my ROM, I used the attached cab to get my 3G access back..

I am new to this forum, I have purchased an SPV m600 on Orange from ebay, and I was woundering if I can upgrade the rom to T-mobile Vario. Has this been done before and will it work. If not please can soemone let me know where I can get other roms for this device. I am a t-mobile users, and the phone keeps on freezing when I enable push mail.

The vario is the wizard while your device as you know is a prophet. Attempts to put wizard ROM on prophet "as is" were made with WM 6 but the results were unusable.
Chances are you will brick your device completely.
But note this: you push-mail problem shouldn't require a ROM change. All orange customization is in the ext ROM so try hard resetting your device, the soft resetting just after you finish all the calibration and stuff so the ext ROM wouldn't install. Then get the proper connection setting for T-mobile and see if it works.
Thanks for your help, are there any other Rom's I can install on that device ie, Imate or XDA. This way I will remove all the Orange setting of the device.
I have entered all the t-mobile gprs settings on the device, but it still frezzes every so often, but everything works still the web and email. I am not happy with the device fall asleep for 30 sec or so.

Try the forum search for the Qtek 2.20 WWE ROM! This ROM is in english and have no Ext ROM from a provider such as T-Mobile or Orange! I think this would help you!
You must setup the connection data after finish installing manually but this isn't a big problem!

i have 3 wizards: 1 is a cingular 8125, 2 are t-mobile MDAs. the 8125 and one of the MDA are both G3, and one MDA is a G4. both G3s are running WM6 no problem, both CID unlocked and all. used the shell tool to install the TNT3.0 WM6, worked out well after the 2nd try, but the ONLY problem is that the internet explorer (and any internet related apps) won't work anymore. i can connect to EDGE/GPRS, the IE will say "connecting...locating...opening" and get stuck at opening. finally the IE will report:
Error 502 - Bad Request
The server could not resolve your request for uri:/
note it says "uri" and not "url"
i don't get it. both MDAs were flashed with the latest T-mobile ROM, clean install. the only difference is that one is a G3 and one is a G4.
what is the problem with my connection?
phone calls OK, SMS OK, system runs fine. just can't seem to get the HTTP related service to work right. can anyone help?
