Does this work on the Universal?

My "Set as Wireless Stereo" is now grayed out. Or is the problem that my headset is not a Stereo-headset?

1, use the A2DP hack. See for example http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=1307&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 (the "Adding A2DP (and AVRCP) support to the HTC Wizard" section)
2, if mono phone headset "quality" is sufficient, give a try to either BTAudio ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=280353 ) or BlueMusic (see my articles).

BT Audio loosing settings

Hope someone can help me with my problem (Nothing found on XDA search).
I have a BT620s headset and it works great, both for stereo music and as a handsfree set.
The problem is, if I disconnect the bluetooth or answer a call I always loose the Wireless stereo. Under the BT devices is it still shows as selected but I always have to do a refresh reselect "wireless stereo" and save it again to get it working each time.
Is there something I can do to make it stick ie: registry setting?
Thanks

Hi to All,
i have exactly the same problem. Actually, in my case even an alarm or a reminder switches the A2DP to mono and i am not able to go back to stereo without a soft reset....
Anyone have an idea?

Moto S9 Headset, not showing Wireless Stereo option...

Hey folks, Tried searching for this for days, but sooooo many bluetooth 10 mile long threads..
I have 2 P4000's (via Telus) in front of me. One has both options for "Set as Wireless Stereo" and "Set as handsfree" after clicking and holding on a paired (ticked as handsfree and ticked as wireless stereo on install) S9 headset, the other only has "Set as handsfree".
Any ideas?
Tried uninstalling, re-pairing, and no joy. I tried the usual registry change for switching to stereo, and increasing the sound quality that are on the HTC Wiki page, but no joy... I am thinking master reset and start again on the non working device... but I would rather not if I can get away with it...?
Help appreciated!
Scott.

bluetooth stereo - partnership

When i pair my phone to my bluetooth car radio i get handsfree and bluetooth stereo working. when i turn off the radio and put it back on, the handsfree function is still available but no more bluetooth stereo.... si when i want to listen to my mp3's on the phone, i have to pair it each time again.
i work with the standard shipped rom and i got the options in the comm manager set to "handsfree" and "bluetooth stereo"
any help would be appreciated!
Ok, found the solution....
it seems if you go to bluetooth settings, press long on the paired device, it brings up a menu where you can "set as wireless stereo". in that way it stays as handsfree and wireless stereo!

no audio streaming on BT headset

Hi all,
Im trying to listen to the audio playback using my BT headset, but the music never comes to the BT headset, it starts playing at the speakers although x1 shows A2DP profile.
Bluetooth A2DP headset with X1
I am having a similar problem.
I have an I.Tech Clip Radio that is capable of A2DP. When I was adding the new device, leaving the pin blank, headset was added successfully with both headset and wireless stereo profiles. Then in the Bluetooth setting page, when I try to "Set as wiresless stereo", a message will show trying to add headset into device list, press yes it will request for passcode, and does not accept the correct default passcode "0000" while the "Next" is grey out if I leave the passcode blank. And of course the Windows Media Player is then playing thru the speaker not headset.
Anyone has any idea? Is it an incompatible issue or I was doing it wrong?

I've had the same problem with my Jabra SP700, I'll toy with it tomorrow and see if I can find something.

I have no idea whats wrong, somebody who can help me?
