can i use new nokia 610 bluetooth carkit with Qtek 2020? - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 General

Nokia has a new bluetooth carkit on the market called the 610 which also supports the headset profile :
Compatibility:
The Nokia 610 car kit phone can be paired with 2 different device classes:
Mobile phones supporting Bluetooth SIM Access Profile
Other devices using Bluetooth technology, such as wireless headsets
Compatible Nokia mobile phones:
As the Qtek 2020 also comes standard with only the headset profile, does this mean i can use the new nokia 610 with my PDA?
see his link for full info:

Connecting HP IPAQ H6340 with bluetooth nokia car kit

Hi,
Trying to connect HP IPAQ H6340 to nokia bluetooth car kit. It does not attach to the wireless kit! Checking the specifications of the car kit says that it will only work with Bluetooth 1.1 specification and Handsfree profile. Can you guys help me out with this? Not sure as to how to find the current bluetooth version. Is there an upgrade available. IPAQ is currently on W2003.
Details of nokia kit: http://www.nokia.co.uk/nokia/0,,18275,00.html
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks.

A2DP on MDA Pro available??

theunwired posted a review of the Globalsat bt headphone kit here http://www.theunwired.net/?itemid=2873#article Towards the end he states "So the E-Ten M600 is the second device with Windows Mobile 5.0 which supports Bluetooth stereo even without having the (according to Microsoft) required AKU 2 on board. The first one, I was aware of is the T-Mobile MDA Pro (HTC Universal) which is also Bluetooth stereo enabled after the latest ROM update from last week."
Has anyone upgraded to the latest mda pro rom and tested A2DP?

These feature packs have not been released for the MDA Pro/Xda Exec yet.
But I have tried it, and it does work.... but it sucks horespower from your pda and makes it run a real pig. On the Prodigy (Mini S) it's even more demanding....

Parrot CK3100 and Universal

Im actually using a BT Car Handsfree kit Parrot CK3100 with my SE z800 mobile phone... but since I started using the Universal it doesnt work.
I read somewhere that WM5.0 doesnt support BT Stereo Audio until the AKU2 WM5 is released... do you know what may I do while? It is possible to make it runing even in mono or something like that?
I use the Qtek 9000 with a Ck3100 without any problem
(except for the fact that automatic phonebook sync is not supported)
I use mine with one, not too sure of the model but its the colour one that stores contacts, and it works amazing well.
Yes that configuration works for me as well. The only issue is that it will not automatically transfer the Contacts list to the Parrot. That isn't supported with the Universal. Actually I don't bother anyway as I have the Universal in a cradle and I dial directly from it.
Can you bond the Universal with the Parrot?
i have a ck3300 and it works wonderfuly i use http://www.pocketinformant.com/products_info.php?p_id=pi&dir=wm
to beam all the contacts over... works great. from reading the parrot forums when the update is released it will sync the contacts over but not in a address format
ie at the moment i have
Paul
mobile 077
home 015
bus 015
in the new version it will be
Paul mob 077
Paul home 015
Paul Bus 015
if that makes sense

This one is rather old Toshiba's proprietary BT stack. nothing good. I have used it with my TOSHIBA E800 + TOSHIBA SD BT card combo 2 years ago. And had many problems with it. Anyway.
here is some info for you:
Profiles supported by your Toshiba Pocket PC
Headset Profile
Serial Port Profile
Dial-up Networking Profile
Object Push Profile File
Transfer Profile
LAN Access Profile
Personal Area Networking Profile
General Access Profile
Bluetooth specification
V1.2 Not compatible with Bluetooth V1.0B
devices.
as you can see - this one is not even BT 2.0 compliant.
do you mean that it's a useless software
what about blueSoleil, bluetooth adds..... and other softwares
comparing to that which one is better, :?: :?:
and i've sayed that it worked well on my i-mate jam. i don't know what about other devices.
Hi,
i'm testing the bluesoleil stack (bluesoleil_r2.arm with switch from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=36395)
since 2 weeks on my magician (qtek s100 rom 1.12 FR , radio 1.13) and i'm very happy with it;
PAN network works fine for accessing my LAN (files, internet, activesync),
and file transfer with other mobiles works better (i didn't test others BT services like dun, fax...)
Just have to switch to ms stack for GPS use with my BT338 and TT6(very laggy with bluesoleil stack)
Regards.

Bluetooth SAP, Mercedes, HTC Touch Dual / Nike

I have an unlocked 16-key HTC Touch Dual plus a Mercedes 2007 S Class with a Bluetooth SAP profile puck in. They do not want to talk to eachother.
The Bluetooth SAP puck pairs fine with my Nokia 8800 and works wonderfully (except I don't want to use the 8800). On the HTC it discovers the phone, then displays a number I should enter. What is meant to happen is (on the rather odd mercedes UI) I then select call. With the 8800 this then brings up a bluetooth incoming pairing request on the phone, I enter the passcode, and it all works. With the HTC, the Mercedes immediately wipes the number of the screen and says "bad number".
I have got SAP Proile on (i.e. turned Remote SIM Access on within SAP settings), and obviously have the device's bluetooth both on and discoverable (or it wouldn't have been able to ascertain the Device ID). Any ideas?
Has anyone paired any WM6 device with the Mercedes Bluetooth SAP unit? (same unit in lots of cars, I'm using the European model which is apparently different from the US model).
My phone reports WM 6 Professional
CE OS 5.2.1622 (Build 18128.0.4.4)
ROM version: 1.31.405.09
ROM date: 10/31/07
Radio version: 1.58.16.27
Protocol version: 25.61.30.03H
Any ideas?
any luck?

Hi, Any luck at all??.
I'm having the very same issue with a brand new ML and a Touch Pro.
I'm very surprise to see many people struggling with this and still no luck even from this talented group.
Thanks
bluetooth Touch Diamond 2 and Mercedes
I have exactly the same problem: HTC Diamond Touch 2 and Mercedes Benz bluetooth.
In fact the notice of MB gives a PIN of 5 digits and the HTC accepts only 4 digits!!!!
Any idea of what to do?

Which bluetooth device are you using : the COMAND built in one or the add-on SAP device connected to the internal BUS?
I had no problem connecting up to the first one, inlcuding outlook contact download but still struggling with the SAP device.
Weird!!
For info my ML is the latest one meaning the COMAND unit is the latest.
