I'm try to upgrade my Qtek1010 RUU with Pocket PC 2002 ROM Upgrade Utility V1.08.
After the first step, my phone has boot and then I've the message "Impossible to upgrade".
Now, my GSM don't work.
Anyone has a suggest?

Radio stack upgrade failed
I have a T-mobile pocket pc phone ROM version 3.14 which I bought in the US. When I tried to upgrade the radio stack programme B ver 4.21 from O2, the RSU says "flash failed. Press OK to restart your device". I have not been able to go beyond 5%. Could someone help me with an old RSU which can get my pocket pc phone back in order.
I was updating my new i-mate SP3 (typhoon) to the latest i-mate ROM 2.4.33.11 which completed successfully but now every time I turn on the phone it goes directly to the bootloader tri-color screen. I tried several times to update the ROM again but it does'nt help. It shows the proccess completed successfully but the phone is still stuck in bootloader mode.
In the bootloader screen it shows the following
IPL 1.00
SPL 2.5.0102
I even tried to flash the ROM through an image of Orange4114_ALL_SPL1010091 on a miniSD card but it gives an error message
"Not allowed update!"
Please help me figure out how to get my phone working again.

I don't have the Typhoon and don't know if this will work for you, but this is at least how we fix this problem on the Hermes:
Enter into bootloader using mtty.exe and run the command "set 14 0" and "task 8". Phone will reboot and start OS.
If it doesn't work, then try the SD flash method mentioned by surfturtle. Keep in mind that if your device is not superCID the image file should match the CID of your phone (must be an original shipped update from your vendor). This method consist on:
1) extract the rom image from the rom upgrade exe (winrar or cabextract can be used for that) and you'll find a .nbf file.
2) Rename it to TYPHIMG.nbf
3) Format your SD card in FAT32
4) Put TYPHIMG.nbf on the root folder of your SD card
5) put sd card on the phone, and enter into bootloader
6) confirm flashing on screen, and wait until the process is finished (do not reset it, will take about 30min).
Check the hermes wiki if you need more information on any of this.

I-mate ROM
Hi, I did the upgrade through the PC but the device info still shows the old ROM: 2.1.33.13 No error messages and the phone keeps hanging on me.
Is this version of ROM the Arabic one? If not, can someone post or point to where I can download the arabic version? I did not find it on the I-mate website.

I install WM6 RUU_BA_xplode_WWE_6.00.00.exe but when I wanna install hemi WM6 or WM5 show me error 150.
what device do you have?
Did you killed activesync and put your device into bootloader mode before running the upgrade utility?

hopefully somebody can help.. have an 02 Orbit currenty will only go into bootloader mode. IPL 1.25.0001 SPL 1.11.0000 and has RUU in top right corner. Most times when plug USB into sytem USB will come up bottom left corner
Tried flashing various Roms from standard 02 - lastest anja_ diamondsty v01 cooked. it starts the download but everytime an error notice comes up... The update utility cannot be used for your PDA phone. Please get a newer update utillity ... any ideas?

Try flashing a different ROM or try re-downloading the one you want to use. THe IPL and SPL seem fine on your phone.

That is the challenge ... the error message comes up when trying to install any ROM

cause i got the same...my artemis is connected to my pc with Bootloader/USB-Connection,started the Update Utility(as I did it many,many times before^^without any problem) and after it verified the Information on my phone,
it brought this error 200lease get a newer update utility...
Why does it do that?? A few hours before it worked great and now? Every ROM,Artemis Touch 4.02,B&B4.3,BB5,Artemis Diamond,even the USPL,has now this error!
By this moment, it looks like I'm unable to put any ROM on my Artemis...
Please,can you help me to fix this problem?

Got the original o2 rom on the pc from my friend, with this connection(o2rom,other PC) it worked...for now...because after starting my artemis i wanted to get my old Artemis Touch 4.02, so i run USPL but after 100 % it brought the error 270...
When i made soft reset (after install any program). mda made hard reset and start bootloader mode. I can't write new rom. What can i do? If i start installing flash rom .exe after few whiles:error 201: get device data error. CAN NOT GET DEVICE DATA

I had same problem. I just remove battery and wait sometime. It should fix that. Well.. for me it fixed
Yes it's works, but is any chance to fixed it, upgrade new rom or something.
Prapably someone tryied upgrade bigstoragerom. If i could have backup rom, that's no problem, but i don't have. Other rom not start from sd card
I installed WWE 03, because it don't change radio. There was my problem. When I tryed to install roms before i change radio to 1.12 and wwe 03 work fine. So try like I do But you need install via usb cable and windows xp like i do (I don't have windows xp in my pc so I used Vmware workstation)
What's that rom WWE 03? I have 1.00.10 radio, rom 1.13.00 WWE, so? Could you send me working rom, who can flash my pda?
WWE 03 is cotulla rom. It had windows mobile 6.1. And I tryed to install this one, but lot time had errors. Firstly, I try to install this rom and I finaly upgraded radio with this rom 1.12, but OS installation stuck on 0%, so I cancel it. Noww I tried install this rom and everything working. No bootloader after soft reset, working good

First link should work. It work for me. To succesfuly check your devise you should connect pc and PDA via active syns with windows XP. Then it will check your device and upgrade should work for me it worked
I have connected pda (windows xp) activesyns. Always, every rom, whitch i want to upgrade: update from: (empty) to: (empty). Only if i turn ON pda, then upgrade from: 1.0.10 to 1.12, click NEXT and pda goes to bootloader. "checking devace data" and nothing happened. I thing the last chance is upgrade rom from sd card in bootloader mode, but it must be backup rom from own pda This is the end :/ i may throw my megican to trash. Thanks for answers.
You should turn on PDA then connect to pc after that will be upgrade from to filled. When you click next automaticly go to bootloader and install new rom
Yes, i try that. Turn on, connect, upgrade, then pda goes to bootloader mode and nothing happened - "checking device infromation ...... " all the time. Do you know any way to upgrade from the sd card. I can't do a backup and change 416 bytes in new roms, like a say xda-developers tutorial. Without that pda not flash new rom from sd.
If you know anyone from your friends that have magician try get backup from him. If you don't have, last thing that I can advise, try other roms. You can find it there
