Recently bought an 8227L headunit running android 11 and randomly after turning on, apple car play has no audio. Restarting the head unit usually resolves this issue but I shouldn’t have to.
Today, the audio wasn’t working so I tried going to the native radio app and it would play sound, but was very low. Going back to apple car play, the audio would play but also sounded very low. Setting the audio to max (40) sounded like it was at 15. Again, restarting resolved the issue.
Is there some setting or workaround for this ? Any help is appreciated. I’ll post the headunit specs below.

What does seller suggest when contacted for support?

Hi guys,
I recently got back from repair my Dasaita PX5 android head unit (MTCE_HA_V3_10_1). (It broke after 2 days of use, froze during waze installation and never started again)
On my Mitsubishi Lancer I have the rockford fosgate sound system ( 6 speakers+ subwoofer). I have also purchased the Canbus for this model (2011).
I have some issues with the built-in amplifier app, it does not influence the sound (only the loudness option works). The eq menu doesn't work and also the fader seems to do nothing.
Do you know any workaround on this?
Cheers,
Paul

So i installed this Android unit and all works perfectly. After 2-3 weeks after install, i play music in very loud volume an get stuck and get error "MCU UART ERROR". Later my player get unstuck, later stuck, later unstuck. Now my player unstuck, but no sound from all sources, youtube, music, chrome and more(Show as playing, but no sound). Play and get sound only from radio.
Sometimes, example after night when i go to car and start car, i hear very silent music from music playing, for about 1-3 sec, later silent hissing.
When my player get stuck with "MCU UART ERROR", i get show in setting "NULL" in MCU version.
Dealer send to me, MCU Update, but update now fix it.
What i can do for fix this issue? Software? Hardware? Maybe can bus box?

Hi guys,
I have owned different MTCD headunits (all px 3/5).
For my new car I ordered a 64/4 headunit but it seems like it's a different chipset etc.
As I have a few problems with is and the seller isn't respnding (yet) I'll hope you can help me identify the unit so I can update firmware/mcu etc
Cons:
Biggest issue: GPS is not working. Because of that the time and date are off. If adjusting it manually it stays on the time and date from where the unit gets to sleepmode and won't adjust untill manual adjustment.
I have a annoying humming sound in the OEM subwoofer. It wasn't there with the Kenwood headunit that was installed before this one. Still can't solve it. It also humms when the RCA aren't attached so it seems a power input issue to the amp of the subwoofer. Still figuring out what to do about it.
Pros:
It seems to have wireless Android Auto besides wireless Carplay. It was not advertised but when I put on my hotspot from my mobile, it autostarts Android Auto on the headunit. Very nice!
Bought on Hipzo store (Aliexpress).

Any help is appreciated.
Hello,
Could you share the findings about this head unit?
I have the same head unit, except for CPU and display resolution. I am still trying to understand what is the version which is compatible with this head unit.
Any info is well appreciated.

Hi guys
I have TS7 Topway head unit running Android 11 with latest updates. I'm struggling to raise the internal mic volume as it is barely audible on phone calls. I followed few youtube videos and managed to open up "Engineer Mode", however, my unit doesn't have Audio test under Hardware testing. Should I check any other places for it?
Thanks

Hello @aRaychan Thank you very much for the video. Well, my factory opens up a normal android window that doesn't have channel setup. It looks like we are using two different versions/skins?
Attaching couple of images for your references.
I'm Suffering with the same issue
Anyone got a solution?

I’m having a similar issue but it appears to only be low while using CarPlay via the Zlink app. Are you using the phone with just BT or an app?
Hi friends,
The head unit I have right now does not support stereo sound, and when I play any music from my iPhone the sound comes from both left and right speakers at the time!
But when I play from the usb using the music app, the stereo sound coming from the right and left speakers with HD sound that means the Bluetooth apps don’t work correctly in my head unit.
Also, when I checked the developer option, I found that the setting sets in another option not as stereo sound, I tried to solve this issue from the developer settings, but when I change the voice type to stereo, the setting returns to the original.

Did you already take in account that the issue is not on the head unit, but in your iPhone?

Really thank you for your attention.
No, for one reason I have another car, and the Bluetooth working smoothly in the factory head unit. supporting stereo sound and HD sound. Meantime I opened the development options and I saw that in the Bluetooth Audio Codec setting the sound is not stereo. I tried to change it to stereo but the system didn't allow me. also, no build number and I opened the Dev options using a shortcut app in the store. it is really Stuped Headunit.

FYI
Well... OEM unit may work different, because they are completely different.
It´s a known fact, that those iPhones have problems with most of the Android head units.
You should contact the seller and ask him for a solution. May be there is one.
...btw: This is a quite old unit with Android 8. May be you can update your unit.
Look for STM32 thread in here.
