Good evening everyone. I bought an Ebilaen brand touch screen car stereo, Android 11 operating system, Snapdragon 662 CPU. It works fine and I am satisfied but it does not show me the image of the reversing camera. I specify that the reversing camera is connected, I understand it from the fact that when I engage the reverse gear the LEDs turn on and off when disengaged. The system of my car, which is a 2014 BMW 118d F20, is 6-pin canbus nbt and the car radio I can control from the steering wheel and the steering wheel on the central tunnel, which is called i-drive. There are also screens that act as diagnostics (trivial example: low fuel level or door open warning). From the investigation I have done, the underlying problem is that when I engage reverse gear, there is no screen change. The fact that the rear view camera is present is irrelevant,
n child playing on the street, the change should also take place when reverse gear is engaged and, in case of absence or damage of the reversing camera, colored trajectory guidelines should appear and possibly the wording "no signal" or a screen screen black or noisy. I tried to touch all possible and imaginable check marks, to no avail. My idea is that an application may be missing which should be default, in which case I ask you to indicate one, which I would download from the playstore. I attach the link with the characteristics of the article

You have to forgive me but I am not very familiar with the English language and I do not understand your message well. Should I post my message in another thread? And, if so, which one? Regarding the characteristics of the unit, they can be read by clicking on the link. Thank you
Did you set the camera type in the settings CVBS or AHD ?
Sì. Penso che il problema sia un codice, non ci sono sensori di parcheggio sulla mia macchina

In the main wiring harness, a wire labeled back, backup or reverse can be connected to a wire coming from the backup light usually through camera cables.
Connecting the back wire to +12V should enable the backup camera display on the screen. Disconnecting the wire should exit the backup camera display.
Test already carried out. Without success. Because there is no screen change. In my opinion, an encoding is needed, because originally I don't even have parking sensors

Hey guys I have internal TPMS sensors in my car and my head unit seems to support showing the TPMS do I need other special sensors? Or does normal Toyota Corolla TPMS sensors are enough?
Your sensor are original or aftermarket?

Sorry to bring this post up from history. I have PX5 android 10 car radio, my car is skoda from VAG group and it has passive TPMS based on ABS sensors. I have options for TPMS in android car settings menu, but when I choose it, pop up shows "prompt!" and nothing happenes. In factory radio (amundsen MIB1) when you pressed TPMS setting, you were asked if all tyres are correctly inflated and then you press OK to store setting in memory. When ABS sensor notice pressure change, you receive "tyre pressure lost" warning and when you inflate the tyre you reset setting in car menu. Is my android unit comptatible with ABS TPMS sensoring? What should I do to reset or set tyre pressure in TPMS?
I'd like to hear from anyone who has got a PX6 in their Transporter T5.1.
I bought an "SWC" / "Erisin" PX6 4GB/32GB Android 9 HU to replace my PX5. Fitted it and discovered it was not MTCD/MTCE.
I could not get my reversing camera to work with it*. All I got was a flashing "No video signal" message. I sent the HU back for a refund.
Would still like to get a PX6 but need the reversing camera to work. Would prefer MTCD/MTCE. Anybody on the forum done this?
My van is a 2014 BlueMotion 84kW TDI model. I believe 2014 models are a bit "special" electrically. I'm just trying to gather information about PX6 HUs that might work in my van.
(*Longer version: Tried triggering the HU Reversing function with: just CANBUS; with direct connection to reverse light +ve; with connection to +12v via a relay; and connection to battery +ve. (These last 3 by cutting into the wiring bundle as suggested by Chinese technician) but nothing worked. The (rear facing) camera worked perfectly when plugged into the HU's RCA DVR connector and camera now still works with my re-fitted PX5)
Hi there,
Did you make it work eventually?
Here is my experience with a PX6 on my T5 (2009) - will copy paste a post which I already wrote in another thread:
I recently noticed my PX6 unit doesn't see any of the front / rear cameras. With all wires connected the f-cam app shows the orange triangle (no signal) for both front and back cameras. The same happens if I give a 12v signal to the reverse (pink) wire.
I never got to install the backup camera in my car but I did bench tests with a power source and had the cameras working when I first got the unit. Now, a few months later, the cameras simply don't work
I tested with 2 different cameras and also with a DVD player and none worked.
I even opened the unit and checked the motherboard to see if there is a fried circuit or IC...and saw nothing. The video inputs lead to a IC labeled "FMS6502" and the signal gets to it through a 75ohm resistor and a capacitor which both look okay.
What can it be?
So these being said, I am afraid these units have some hardware issue with the front/rear camera inputs.
PS: on my Opel Combo car I have a PX3 unit with working rear camera !

My reversing camera worked if plugged into the f-cam input, but of course this is useless as you need it to be triggered by going into reverse and f-cam input is not. Atleast it meant I could be sure nothing was wrong with my camera.

I think my PX6 was expecting something special in the trigger signal. 12v DC from the reverse light did not work. Nor did 12v DC straight from the battery via a relay. The PX6 wiring loom lets you choose between CANBUS and non-CANBUS configuration. Neither of these worked. I even hacked the wiring on instructions from Erisin in China with no success (They clearly misunderstood their own wiring diagram though, so I never expected the hacking to work).
So these being said, I am afraid these units have some hardware issue with the front/rear camera inputs.

I think you are right. There is a hardware issue. I have a PX5 which works fine with the reversing camera input but the trigger signal has to be 12v DC direct from the battery via a relay triggered by the reversing light.
It was a shame because the PX6 was faster than my PX5 and the screen was brighter. But not having a reversing camera was a showstopper.
Thanks for you reply!
Regarding activation of the reverse screen, I managed to make good use of the canbus decoder box which they sent me from China (first one didnt work, them they sent me another one which recognizes the CAN messages correctly).
So the problem is that the unit doesn't receive the video signal from the camera, although it gets into reverse mode.
Moreover, the unit doesn't show the camera image by using F-Cam app either...hence I believe it is the video controller (FMS6502) that is faulty. I have to check it with a multimeter based on the specs of it...
These units are atractive but they have serious flaws in their mechanical (cheap plastics, buttons, etc) and electronic design.
Sending the unit to warranty in China is a lost cause too...
Cheers

Yes, it sounds like you have a hardware fault. For me it was some sort of incompatibility in the camera signal/reverse trigger.

My Erisin branded PX6 was very poor quality compared to my Xtrons branded PX5. The connectors and the buttons on the PX6 were very fragile.
I was lucky: the UK importer refunded my money, but only after I told them I would raise a dispute on EBay.
Hi, I have a CC2 Plus radio to Renault Megane 3 .After installing the radio, the outside temperature, i.e. from the canbus, is not displayed.
I wrote to tech support teyes said they disabled this feature and that it will no longer be enabled. Only the one downloaded from the Internet is displayed, not the canbus temperature sensor. Does anyone know in any way it could be displayed on the radio screen
Not MTCD, requested move to [Android Head units].
Op, suggest a read of the forums and a little familiarising before posting.

was it actually working before
i noticed the same just installed the unit few days ago
did you managed to do something about the joystick near the handbrake or edit the controls on steering wheel ?
Yes, it showed temperature from sensor ( magistral can bus ) but Teyes switch off this. I haven't got joystick but I saw videos on YouTubute and it working with this radio. when it comes to the output on the steering wheel, turn it down, turn it up and set the applications on the button. an image is also displayed when the door is open.
does your original radio was the single color screen one or tomtom navigation type?
I've searched for my particular scenario and I haven't exactly found it. I have a 10.1" android headunit sold by Rongji listed here:
Amazon.com: Android 10.0 OS 10.1 Inch IPS Screen Car Stereo DSP 2G RAM Car Radio for Universal Car Touch Screen Car Multimedia Navigation Support Bluetooth WiFi 1Din Stereo with Mic Map Update: GPS & Navigation
Amazon.com: Android 10.0 OS 10.1 Inch IPS Screen Car Stereo DSP 2G RAM Car Radio for Universal Car Touch Screen Car Multimedia Navigation Support Bluetooth WiFi 1Din Stereo with Mic Map Update: GPS & Navigation
www.amazon.com
I've wired my reverse camera into the back of the headunit for power and the AV cable is plugged in accordingly. When my vehicle is running and I go into Reverse, nothing happens.
However I can click on the F-Cam app and choose reverse camera and the image shows while in Reverse.
Is there any way to make this happen automatically?
I've not understand the comments I've read through where some say the reversing action is managed by the headunit software not by F-Cam. If anyone can explain that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for help, links, info.
F-cam has nothing to do with the back-up cam. It's just a separate app which allows manual control of the cam. You don't need F-cam at all for the reversing cam feature to work.
If you don't have a can bus box then you need to connect the reverse trigger wire to the reverse lights (the orange wire from the head unit).

If car has canbus, it can be solved by adding relay. Activated by reverse light power, relay is suposed to switch some stable voltage to suply camera. For example cigarette lighter voltage can power camera. Here:

Hello. I installed android head unit bought from AliExpress. I don't know what board it has. It is 8+128GB, Android 10 OS. It is for Audi A6 2008, manual transmission. I also bought and installed camera. Camera works fine if car engine is off...

Hello,
I got this unit from Amazon:
JOYX - [6G+128G] - Android 12 IPS Car Radio Suitable for Ford Tourneo Transit Custom (2013-2021) - Wireless CarPlay / Android Car / DSP - LED Camera & MIC - 9 Inch 2 Din - DAB SWC WiFi Fast-B oot 360-CameraAnd this accessory:
4-part AHD cameras must be purchased separately, ASIN:B095HQSV15
1) When I connect 1 of the 360 camera, the front one, it shows as if it's two video feed in one. Let's say it's not showing 1 image properly, but lines and what seems to be noise.
What am I supposed to see when connecting 1 camera only, a proper video feed for the front camera?
2) It says AHD camera, on the autoradio there are various "camera settings" about which format is it (NTSC, PAL, and 2 different AHD with different resolutions). I tried we get an ugly signal from all but one AHD (signal not found for the latest). I am supposed to change or it should connect straight of the box?
3) We tried to have the rear camera provided from the head unit box (not the 360 ones), we also did not get signal despite a cabling that works (let's say the power was tested in each cables and it should have been done properly). The camera works on another vehicle. When engaging the rear on the gearbox, we do see the lines but no video signal.
Any idea?
Thanks for any help,

The vendor sent me a video showing one need to click on settings/video/ and change a setting to AVM.
The vendor activated using the QR Code. I had to sync the options, it's now activated.
Problem is, the application for 360 crashes every few seconds.
Setting required to get the video feed:
It's activated.
