Hey guys I have internal TPMS sensors in my car and my head unit seems to support showing the TPMS do I need other special sensors? Or does normal Toyota Corolla TPMS sensors are enough?
Your sensor are original or aftermarket?

Sorry to bring this post up from history. I have PX5 android 10 car radio, my car is skoda from VAG group and it has passive TPMS based on ABS sensors. I have options for TPMS in android car settings menu, but when I choose it, pop up shows "prompt!" and nothing happenes. In factory radio (amundsen MIB1) when you pressed TPMS setting, you were asked if all tyres are correctly inflated and then you press OK to store setting in memory. When ABS sensor notice pressure change, you receive "tyre pressure lost" warning and when you inflate the tyre you reset setting in car menu. Is my android unit comptatible with ABS TPMS sensoring? What should I do to reset or set tyre pressure in TPMS?

Hi
I have a Mitsubishi outlander 2011 with rockfordfossgate MMCS system and rear view cam.
I have now installed a Dasaita PX5 Octa Core 64 bit 4gb Ram 32 G rom with Android 8.0 I am currentely using Hal9K rom version 3.1.2 works great
I have got everything working, rear view camera (had to solder a bit to get the original camera to work.)
All speakers with sub working, with the original amplifier.
But i can't fade/balance speakers, don't know if thats posible to fix?
Tone controll working fine.
But i am missing some featurers, I am not sure if it is possible to get it to work?
In my MMCS unit i had the opportunity to change car settings "see attachments".
Like how the wipers shall act and things like that.
I also hade speed signal and fule consumption information.
Not sure if the canbus for my dasaita support this?
In the factorysettings on my dasaita i have choosen canbus (111 Mitsubishi pajero&outlander%asx&lancer(simple)
Steering whell controlls working fine, when i put the car in revers i get the rearview camera and that is working fine.
I have see people talking about car_info app, vehicle.apk and controllinfo apps, this are apps working in the background like the rearview camera app right?.
But i get no icons for this apps on my head unit, and nothing in extra menu or car setting menu.
I do not get any signal when opening doors og changing temperatur on the AC and things like that.
So my question is simple, is there any way for me on my car to get the opertunity to change the settings link a was able to do in the original MMCS unit?
In the MMCS hadde an "equpment" meny, that i do not have now. I also like for information like speed signal, doors opening and things like that be poping up on the unit.
Or is this settning for the equipment and speed signa, doors just not supportet with my canbus decoder?
Is there any other way to get to this equpment setting in my car without installing the original MMCS unit?
Mayby with ODB2 or something like that?

Where u able to figure any of this out?

I have 2008 Pajero Exceed.. whilst older than yours.
It doesn't have the extra menu controls you're also missing
I was looking at a system fully installed Extnix $600
But didn't follow through.
They advised me everything would work including amp -EXCEPT the fade/balance, so it might be a bit more embedded into the Mitsubishi system and missing from alternative head units ?
I'm really interested for this topic. I have a Mitsubishi Outlander and it would be great if I could still have stock MMCS settings on an aftermarket android unit.

Yes, I do have a gps unit. But if I install an aftermarket android unit I will loose all stock mitsubishi car settings like remote car pre-heating, consumption information as well as other important car settings .

Yeah my bad I didn't clarify that from the beginning. I have a 2015 Outlander PHEV.
Hi, I have a CC2 Plus radio to Renault Megane 3 .After installing the radio, the outside temperature, i.e. from the canbus, is not displayed.
I wrote to tech support teyes said they disabled this feature and that it will no longer be enabled. Only the one downloaded from the Internet is displayed, not the canbus temperature sensor. Does anyone know in any way it could be displayed on the radio screen
Not MTCD, requested move to [Android Head units].
Op, suggest a read of the forums and a little familiarising before posting.

was it actually working before
i noticed the same just installed the unit few days ago
did you managed to do something about the joystick near the handbrake or edit the controls on steering wheel ?
Yes, it showed temperature from sensor ( magistral can bus ) but Teyes switch off this. I haven't got joystick but I saw videos on YouTubute and it working with this radio. when it comes to the output on the steering wheel, turn it down, turn it up and set the applications on the button. an image is also displayed when the door is open.
does your original radio was the single color screen one or tomtom navigation type?
I recently installed a Dasaita 10.2 in my 2017 Nissan Rogue which shows TPMS on each of 4 wheels on the OEM display. There is a TPMS app showing in the apps menu on the Dasaita but it shows no data on the display when launched. Is there a way to get this app to "see" the TMPS units for each tire?
As dasaita is selling special tpms units, I think, that it doesn‘t work with the original ones.

That app is for Dasaita's tpms system. These units by themselves do not have the ability to display your vehicle's native tpms data. You could try Troque pro and write a custom pid if you know the can bus id's
If your head unit has Canbus, try starting the vehicle, then run the Vehicle Info app. You might see a Tire Info option in addition to the fuel info. My SYGAV/DASAITA unit will show the factory TPMS data. The data likely will be shown in KPA so the numbers shown will have to be multiplied by 0.145 to get PSI.
Here's a little shortcut to the math move the decimal to the left one and then add back half of that number. So like if it shows 230, decimal to left one place, get 23 then add half of that (11.5) to get 34.5 PSI. Lame that they don't have an option to show PSI. But once you do the simple math trick a couple times you'll get quick at it.
Otherwise only option is to buy the Dasaita TPMS sensors. Which I think is dumb since the car has the TPMS data. At least a TPMS light if nothing.
Sorry for the delayed question. What is the vehicle info app? Is it native to the head unit, or I need to download from somewhere?
Hello. guys
i got hold of a TPMS kit from Teyes. 4 tpms in tyre sensors, and usb reciver device with usb. i also got the Teyes cc2plus head unit.
My problem is that i have to sets of tyres. Winter/summer. So teyes or other brands that supports android 10. only ship with one set of 4 sensors.
I Have a Autel MaxiTPMS TS508 unit. I tried to read the sensor but faild to read. As i know the sensor is on 433mhz. and like other china products no markings or numbers.
I would think it was a easy job to just read the sensor and wright to a new one. so then you would have 2 duplicate sets. but no.
I am hoping some of you have the knowledge to help me.

What about the teyes thread that discusses your unit. You have to put some effort in on xda, there are no guys
First contact for support is Teyes, what did they suggest you do before returning defective product
I'd like to read my factory(!) TPMS sensors with my android head unit. Since OBD2 dongles don't seem to provide TPMS data (shame...), I think buying an aftermarket TPMS set, solely for the USB receiver unit. Since I can read TPMS data using my RTL-SDR dongle from my PC with no problem, it may be working, just a question of configuration.
And yes, "question of configuration". Did anyone around here have experiments / experience with such an USB receiver unit? Or am I just overcomplicating things?
@hurjup
Check the CAN settings in your unit. The OEM TPMS data are provided via CAN.
Depends on the car if the CAN box is able to translate these data to be able to see that in your radio.

Could you explain a bit "can box"?
For the very same(?) head units sometimes an additional box (can box?) was provided and sometimes not. Amyway, I didn't receive anything like that for my suzuki s-cross, which looks normal to me. Is it embedded into the unit (which doesn't implement TPMS reading)? Or is it not needed for general functionality?
In short, knowing my car type, can I improve the situation with TPMS, or it is better just let it go?
Thank you in advance...
Well...
I don´t know if your unit has an internal CAN-Box or not. Please ask your reseller.
Nevertheless:
Even your suzuki s-cross should provide these data via CAN.
So possible issues could be:
No CAN-box internal or external (but I expect to get clamp 15, Reverse gear and some other stuff to be provided by any can box)
CAN settings in the unit are wrong
Wrong car set
wrong CAN box set
But most of the time you run into the issue that the CAN box (internal or external) does not translate these data. (most of the cars are not supported for data more than SW-Buttons, Clamp 15, Reverse gear, e-brake)
You should contact your reseller and ask if there is a CAN Adapter available which decodes these data for your car.
I searched already, but did not find any for your car which should be able to do what you want.
I vote for the "CAN box does not translate these data" option. I've contacted my seller, but expect multiple rounds when it tries to google translate "can type" or "can adapter" before hitting a dead end. I don't expect any resolution of this problem through support, simply because the product page wanted to sell me an aftermarket TPMS set for my particular car type.
Some time possibly I'll make a try with such a set, maybe an app dev was lazy enough to adapt rtl_433 with minimal modifications and it will just work.
You´re not allone...
For my Mitsubishi I even don´t get the door open messages and climate control through the CAN box.
Even intire OEM TPMS is not visible. Just visible in the cluster. It is available on CAN, but not translated.
If you would own a VW Golf as example, you would get all this stuff on your unit....so guess why no one get´s on the CAN traces and translates the signals for cars which are not sold that often...
Good evening everyone. I bought an Ebilaen brand touch screen car stereo, Android 11 operating system, Snapdragon 662 CPU. It works fine and I am satisfied but it does not show me the image of the reversing camera. I specify that the reversing camera is connected, I understand it from the fact that when I engage the reverse gear the LEDs turn on and off when disengaged. The system of my car, which is a 2014 BMW 118d F20, is 6-pin canbus nbt and the car radio I can control from the steering wheel and the steering wheel on the central tunnel, which is called i-drive. There are also screens that act as diagnostics (trivial example: low fuel level or door open warning). From the investigation I have done, the underlying problem is that when I engage reverse gear, there is no screen change. The fact that the rear view camera is present is irrelevant,
n child playing on the street, the change should also take place when reverse gear is engaged and, in case of absence or damage of the reversing camera, colored trajectory guidelines should appear and possibly the wording "no signal" or a screen screen black or noisy. I tried to touch all possible and imaginable check marks, to no avail. My idea is that an application may be missing which should be default, in which case I ask you to indicate one, which I would download from the playstore. I attach the link with the characteristics of the article

You have to forgive me but I am not very familiar with the English language and I do not understand your message well. Should I post my message in another thread? And, if so, which one? Regarding the characteristics of the unit, they can be read by clicking on the link. Thank you
Did you set the camera type in the settings CVBS or AHD ?
Sì. Penso che il problema sia un codice, non ci sono sensori di parcheggio sulla mia macchina

In the main wiring harness, a wire labeled back, backup or reverse can be connected to a wire coming from the backup light usually through camera cables.
Connecting the back wire to +12V should enable the backup camera display on the screen. Disconnecting the wire should exit the backup camera display.
Test already carried out. Without success. Because there is no screen change. In my opinion, an encoding is needed, because originally I don't even have parking sensors
