Won't turn on, QUSB_BULK_CID device - Google Pixel 4 Questions & Answers

I woke up this morning to a black screen. Tried to turn it on, nothing. Figured the battery died, plugged it in to the charger. However the screen still never turned on... held down the power button, the power+vol down, etc...
Plugged it into my PC and it sees the device as "QUSB_BULK_CID:0404_SN:xxxxxxx"
It sounds like this is the "Qualcomm EDL mode".
I haven't yet found any solution to this.... Has anyone had this happen and fixed it?

Wizard not booting

Hey,
just got up and my Wizard won't do anything anymore. Yesterday night I plugged in in the reload thing and turned it off. Today no LED was lit and it doesn't react to the turn on button. Even if I plug it back to the power cable no LED will light.
Ah... nevermind. The idea loading the battery with a modofied cable for some time worked.

Won't Boot

So my phone died earlier today and I left my charger in my friend's car. When I got it back, I tried to plug it in and turn it on, but nothing happened. I know sometimes you have to wait until it has a certain % charge before you can turn it on. I made and hour trip back home and when I got back I still couldn't get my phone to turn on.
When it's not plugged in nothing happens at all. When it is plugged it it repeats the boot logo thing over and over and over and eventually goes black. I can't get to any kind of menu. I've tried the X+Power option. Nothing.
Any help?

You might try and swap batteries with someone with a D2 or D1 to see if your battery is messed up other than that I'm not sure what to do because it sounds like you don't have enough power but if it's not charging you could have a software issue, because the D2 won't charge without software.
Does your white charging light on the side turn on when it's plugged in?
Are you running a Custom ROM?

[Q] Stuck in "Firmware Update" display

Was plugging in my G2 to charge it and suddenly it had this screen. "Firmware Update. Do not unplug the USB connection until the process is complete."
How do I exit safely? Will I corrupt any data or damage anything? I was only plugging in my phone to a wall socket, so I don't know why there would be such a screen. Help anyone? >.<
Someone knows how I can exit safely? >< Please?
That sounds like its in download mode, which you get to by turning off the phone, then plugging in a usb cable while holding vol up. I always assumed the usb cable needed to be connected to a computer for that to happen, but maybe it works if it just senses power.
Anyway, if the bar isn't going anywhere (and it shouldn't be since its not connected to anything feeding it data) then you should be okay unplugging it and turning the phone off, then back on.
Edit: Just tried it with my phone - turned off, then connected USB cable/wall charger while holding vol up and sure enough it went into download mode. I unplugged the cable, then held the power button until the phone restarted. Booted as normal.
My Lg ls740 prompted me to do a system update 3days ago and has not came back om since. It just keeps flashing from LG logo and the android man...i have tried taking battery out...factory reset...and everything above . Can anyone help?!?!

evga tegra note 7 shut itself off

the tablet was plugged in yesterday playing a video and then it powered itself down.
there was no low power warning before it turned off. the powering down dialog box popped up as it shut itself down. it was not abrupt. the battery charging icon flashed on the screen repeatedly, and when I tried to turn it back on, the battery icon would flash empty and nothing would happen.
I tried charging it for a while with a couple different chargers, and it would not power on.
now nothing happens. I left it plugged in all night and tried turning it on again and the screen stays blank. no backlight activity or anything.
the tablet wasn't hot or anything when it powered down. it was only playing a stream from watchespn. anything I can try or do?

POCO M3 blackscreen after MIUI 14 update, did some stuff, now battery status upon charging but no boot

Saw today that there was the MIUI 14 Update for the POCO.
Downloaded, unpacked and then it said restart, pressed restart.
It turned off and never on again.
Tried holding power button, charging, fast boot, holding here and there nothing. Blackscreen.
Opened the phone, unplugged both screen and battery, plugged in. Nothing. Tried it a few times and then upon charging it installed the updated, turned off blackscreen.
Tried everything from above again, nothing. Saw that upon plugging on my PC it showed QDLoader 9008 so probably EDL. If i unplugged and plugged in I heard a sound on my PC. If i held the power button i also heard the sound when you connect a device.
Opened the phone up again, removed the mainboard and tried to remove that small metal cover from the mainboard. Couldnt get it off even with enough heat applied. Heated the mainboard according to a different thread: Mainboard Part
Now when i charge the phone it shows me the battery display but if i press the power button the phone doesnt boot. Without charging it also doesnt show any sign of life. I didnt plug in all parts such as camera etc. yet
Does anyone know what to do now, cant afford a new phone.
edit//
If i plug it into a charger it shows 90%
PC shows it as a drive (E:/) Linux no more 9008
still no reaction after connecting everything

When the phone is connected to edl mode, the next procedure for recovery is simple, you have to look for the procedure, for example here.
I solved it by heating up the metal cover and the mainboard as shown on the "mainboard part image". If you reasamble the phone make sure that your mainboard is connected to the button connectors, that was my issue. For some reason it wasnt connected and therefore the buttons were not working.
Support was literally useless and the warranty in germany is a scam.
Trash phone. Never going to buy POCO again.
