just got up and my Wizard won't do anything anymore. Yesterday night I plugged in in the reload thing and turned it off. Today no LED was lit and it doesn't react to the turn on button. Even if I plug it back to the power cable no LED will light.
Ah... nevermind. The idea loading the battery with a modofied cable for some time worked.

I was surfing through the Internet with my wizard. Then suddenly the wizard shut down. No Message, No Beep nothing. I thought i pushed the power button accidently but the wizard does not react on the power button or the reset button. Nothing. Still off!
I tried to connect the charger, and only the red led is on. Nothing else happens. I tried the battery from my second wizard but this one still does not power on an only the red led is on while connected to charger. The other wizard starts up with both batterys so there can't be a battery fault.
Do I need a new wizard ?
Put a fully charged battery in the dead Wizard, plug it into a WALL charger. That should work. For some reason, if a Wizard goes totally dead, the USB chargers don't have enough current to jump-start things again...
Of course, if that doesn't work, you're probably hosed. Sell it for parts. The guys on this website will pay good money for the parts.

So my phone died earlier today and I left my charger in my friend's car. When I got it back, I tried to plug it in and turn it on, but nothing happened. I know sometimes you have to wait until it has a certain % charge before you can turn it on. I made and hour trip back home and when I got back I still couldn't get my phone to turn on.
When it's not plugged in nothing happens at all. When it is plugged it it repeats the boot logo thing over and over and over and eventually goes black. I can't get to any kind of menu. I've tried the X+Power option. Nothing.
Any help?

You might try and swap batteries with someone with a D2 or D1 to see if your battery is messed up other than that I'm not sure what to do because it sounds like you don't have enough power but if it's not charging you could have a software issue, because the D2 won't charge without software.
Does your white charging light on the side turn on when it's plugged in?
Are you running a Custom ROM?
I have a Mytouch 4g (I got it in this condition from somebody else, so i dont know the history).. phone seems be in mint condition and from what i can tell it never got disassembled.
Phone seems to be completely dead, when i power on, nothing comes up, no boot splash etc.. but something odd happened when i plug it in to my computer.. it started blinking orange light and i noticed that my computer detected a USB mass storage device and such. still the phone wont boot for any combination of buttons. the orange blinking light stops few seconds after i remove the cable. Battery seems to have gotten charged by this phone. My computer shows a new "removable drive".. but my SD card that i put in it cannot be accessed.
anything i can try? any ideas? i do see that when its plugged in, if i hold power button down, it will stop blinking and then starts blinking again.

You're battery is completely drained. If you have an HTC charger plug it in and let it sit. After awhile the blinking orange light will turn in to a steady orange light to indicate that it is charging. It has nothing to do with bricking, you just have a dead battery

negative on that. i put a fully charged battery from my other MT4G into this one. when its not plugged in, i dont get any blinking light. when i have it plugged in, its constantly blinking.
also, everytime i connect it the computer, it does detect the USB . i get the connection sound through the PC speaker
I have Pdanet installed.. I tried with my other mt4g, powered it off, connected to the computer.. USB is detected and the PDANet detects the phone being attached (even though the phone is off), orange light stays solid
when i connect the MT4G (bricked).. USB gets detected, Pdanet never detects a phone being attached.. orange light keeps blinking
is it possible that the phone is not detecting the battery? or the battery status?
This morning I picked up my phone and the screen wasn't powering on. I figured the battery died since it had been off charge a few days, however when I plugged it in all I saw the was green notification LED show up. After trying power + vol down the green light disappeared and quickly reappeared. Not sure what to do from here. Plugged it into my pc as well, PC didn't see it so I can't use ADB. I am using CM10.
edit: yep, battery died.
Erm.. maybe the battery was dead. After a bit being plugged in the CM10 loading screen showed up. My bad, went panic mode.
Hi all,
My TPT this morning for some weird reason stopped turning on. I plugged it into my dock. When it's in the off state it shows the charging logo. But when I go and turn it on, the screen stays black with no Lenovo bootup logo. The red dot in the back of the tablet however, is on when I switch it on. I initially thought that the power drained but I've been charging it for an hour and it still doesn't boot up. Any suggestions? Thanks
Press the tiny button next to the SD-card and then try and start the TPT. You might be in bootloader.
Otherwise, maybe your display cable became disconnected inside. Easy to do or fix if you've opened it up.

Tried resetting, no dice.
Also I don't think its a display problem. Since when its off and I plug it into my dock the charging logo does show up for 5 seconds. Also, when I turn it on, there's no vibrate that the TPT usually does. I noticed that the red light only stays on for maybe 10 seconds then goes dim again

Okay so this is definitely weird. I just plugged it into my PC and via USB and it actually started up! But when I unplug it from my PC it acts the same as before... battery indicates a full charge in android though...
