Hi there. i just unboxed my new S7-150. when i put the sim nd the accu inside i turned it accidantly on. the touchscreen showed a loading circle for a few seconds and then it turned black as there was No power connected. when i connected it to the power there was No Sign of a charging batterie. when i depluged it from the power after 2 hours of charging and trying to turn it on, nothing happened. the lights turned on and stayed on but there was nothing happening on the screen. do you know what happened and how i can make it to run?
So this is sort of a weird issue, and my tablet has only started doing this recently.
When the tablet completely runs out of juice I plug it in. For whatever reason when I plug it in it tries to start up - I get the Google screen, then the boot up animation, then I get my home screen. It's at 0% battery so a second or two after this happens it shuts itself down. Then it starts itself up again - Google screen, boot up animation, home screen, shut down. It continues to cycle like this as long as it's plugged in. And because it does this it never ends up charging. It just cycles endlessly.
I've tried holding down the power button while it's plugged in. It shuts off, then proceeds to start up again. I try unplugging it, shutting it off, then plugging it back in, and it tries to start up again. I never see the battery charging screen that's supposed to show when it's off but charging.
Sometimes I can get lucky and turn it off at just the right time to keep it from turning back on again, and I'll get the battery charging screen, but I haven't been able to this time around.
Anyone know why it insists on trying to start up when I plug it in? I'd actually rather it NEVER did this and have it turn on when I choose it to.
My 14th month old N7 (out of warranty ) has run into some issues. I left it alone for a few days and the battery ran out. Nothing completely out of the usual, happens from time to time. I picked it up, plugged it into the Asus charger, white battery logo came up, i then turned it on.. Google logo. I then set it down.
Came back to it about an hour later and it was off. I tried turning it on while still plugged in, notthing. I unplugged and tried turning it on, nothing. I try my HTC One charger, nothing. Tried plugging it into a USB port on one of my computers, nothing. I read the sticky thread and tried all of the recommended items. Re-seated my battery connector, nothing. I realized that when i tried turning it on, i'd get a faint flicker / 'snow' like affect, like the screen was trying to turn on, but something was wrong. I tried holding the power button for over a minute, nothing. Tried vol down+power for 60 seconds, nothing.
I would search, but im getting a message that it's down.
Any thoughts?
I'm running Slim Rom (4.3) + M Kernel. I hadn't flashed or done anything out of the ordinary in weeks.

happened on mine the other day its a low battery problem, let it charge for 30mins or so, hold power down for like 30 seconds, let go and repress power button, should boot as norm.
seems if the batt completly runs down it sorta needs a jump start from charger to get goin again
I've tried this multiple times. I was thinking along the same lines. I'll keep trying this. But so far no dice. Thanks for the reply.

ok try holding the power button down for a while , does the screen light up? if yes wait and when it turns off again try rebooting as from fresh.
if no re-try and re-try again if no luck. im at a loss, other then trying with / without charger plugged.
edit: on that thought , charge 30 mins hold power button screen lights up no detail/image, hold power ,screen goes off, charge from charger should progress ( press power momentarily and see battery charging icon, screen goes off. wait another 30mins, boot as norm.

When i hold the power button (i mention i hold it for 60 seconds at least, i literally timed it). i get flickering snow, nothing visible. but the screen turns on and i see some faint snow.
The rest of what you wrote i've tried numerous times in different configurations. charging for 30 mins, not charging, plugged in, not plugged, etc. so far i have not seen any icons or anything. The only sign of life is the flickering screen with faint snow.

It's a long shot but still: try leaving it alone for couple of days (3 for example), completely alone, don't touch it, after few days, plug it in and leave it alone, after an hour or two try turning it on.
I've had such experience with some old iPod, it died, but came back to life a month later when I tried to play with it again.
We have a sticky for this, at the top of the Troubleshooting page.

Hi
Suddenly when powered off, I saw that when I plug in the charger, the battery icon pops up in the middle (as expected) the charging icon comes and that's it. It just shows a empty battery with a lightning icon. The weird part here is that i'm unable to turn the phone on the normal way and if I unplug the charger (even for minutes) the empty battery icon stays on and still can't turn on.
The only way to turn the phone on is home+power+vol down and when in download mode, choose cancel then restart.
I'm rooted on a custom rom, but haven't really changed anything.. Tried formatting and reinstalling everything.. Not seem to fix it.
Any ideas?
No problems on mine. Turned it off, plugged it in, got the battery icon with the percent of charge and three dots moving up from the bottom of the screen to the battery image. Pressed the power button for a couple of seconds, and it powered up like normal. I'd raise it with your ROM developer.
I have a Nexus 6P that I've hardly used the past couple of years. Today I turned it on and the power was low and shut down. Plugged it in and it showed it was charging. Turned it on about 15 minutes later while still plugged in, and it shut down while booting up on the Google screen. Now it doesn't do anything when I plug it in or hold power button, and doesn't even show the little red light like the battery is drained.
Is this probably a dead battery or could it be something else? Never had this problem before.
