Hello all,
I have the 1GB AllWinner K2001N head unit. All works good except when using navigation apps, such as HERE by Nokia. No matter the software, the navigation directions get truncated. For example, if the next turn's directions were to go to "908 Sampson Street is in three miles," the unit only say "908 Sampson is in three."
Anyone ran into an issue like this? Even if I connect a CarPlay Dongle to the head unit, the audio still chops off at the end.
Hi, turn to IGO navigation it is much better and sofisticated. You can find maps and other stuff on internet for this.
Download IGO from playstore or other platform that you have.

Thanks for that suggestion. I am still interested in the issue because apparently some music apps stutter like this too.

Hi All,
Recently purchased and installed a Joying head unit (4GB, PX5 Octa Core) (link to product)
I use google music for all my music needs. I have uploaded all my personal music onto the google music cloud servers so I can stream or download them whenever I want making it an ideal solution. I installed the google music app on my android head unit and everything works great appear from one small thing.
The steering wheel NEXT and PREVIOUS buttons are not responding on the music app. Its killing me cause at the moment every time I have to change a song ive got to touch the screen (not ideal when driving).
Volume buttons work fine but ive tried different things to try and get the other buttons to work within the app like button re mappers via the app store etc.
Does anyone know of any way to get the NEXT and PREVIOUS song wheel buttons to work with the google music app. I will love you so much
I think its a software thing with the app cause poweramp and some other music players work with the wheel buttons. If this is the case I was hoping that there is an app that can run in the background which can pickup the wheel buttons and translate them so they work with the google music app.
Any assistance would be great. I hope someone can help.
Bump. There has to be a way around this.
Bump again. Really hoping there is a solution. If not can anyone recommend another forum/discussion board to try.
Type of car, type of CANBUS adapter if any, would be helpful. Because to me it sounds like a problem on the car side, not the app side.
Tried using the forward/back buttons on a different app or via Bluetooth pairing?

Car is Toyota Aurion/Camry.
So as in original post I can confirm it works on other apps such as poweramp and even the stock bluetooth player but on google music its not working. Im pretty sure its a google music app issue but im hoping there is a work around.
Bump. Please help
I have a same problem. The Next & Previous button does work with stock music and radio though but not with downloaded apps. Either it Spotify, Google Music, PowerAmp, VLC or AIMP. The Volume button working fine though. Appreciate if anyone have a solution.
Thank you in advance.
Seems like those controls are only directed into built-in media apps (radio etc). I found an app to translate the signal to universal: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.petrows.mtcservice&hl=en_CA

Doesn't work with mine either. Runs but has no effect. PX6 Android 9
It seems like tomtom is playing some tricks with our head units.....
3D view won't work on a android 8 head unit anymore.
This issue seems to affect all Chinese aftermarket devices.
My guess is that the app detects the MCU and blocks the 3D view.....
Does anybody know more on this?

Yes, I have the same problem, with an Erisin 7848V , PX5 4gb ram . With the previous Allwinner R16 the same .apk 17.2.1 was working fine.

Hello, it happens to me the same, use Dasaita with ANDROID 8 4gb RAM PX5 and the tomtom in 3d mode remains without showing the map, instead on the mobile phone if it shows well running android foot, have if someone knows why it can be happening this .., thanks.
Hi all,
I have an Xtrons TE706PL headunit in my car where i have the TomTom Go App installed.
The app won't show the map when im navigating to somewhere, i only see the blue line of the route that you have to drive. I've been in contact with Tomtom about this and they said probably my radio doesn't support their app.
Now i was wondering if any of you heard this problem before and if it could be fixed with a different rom maybe if thats possible for headunits ?
I've already tried the obvious reinstall but that didn't help.
I've got the same HU in a car and TomTom running well.
Before you reinstall the app, really delete everything of the old TomTom.
If there are still some files left, your problem will still exist.
TomTom is available in different versions, maybe you've got an old one?
Hello
I bought this new HIZPO car unit.
.amazon.de/dp/B07X3N7WPZ/ref=cfb_at_prodpg
It is an Rk3368, Andriod 10, but I can`t find nothing about the MCU in the unit.
It works fine but I have problem with the GPS.
Even though enough satellites are always received, the navigation system lags behind.
Especially at intersections and curves, the navigation system just drives straight and calculates new routes before it notices that I have turned. I tried 3 different navigation programs, all have the same phenomenon.
Does somebody have any idea?

Which navigation software is used?
If it´s an online navigation software I would try any offline version as HERE.
The unit is only offline and I use offline Navigation Software, two Version of Igo, Navigon, Google maps offline and Locus.
I have a cheap Android head unit ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09BD1P..._iN7R_OklzorSSvdmoTnLnhAN1JwupQvl9b8feFsMnx-k )
I've installed Agama Launcher which I am happy with however trying to get a navigation set up to work with it is a nightmare. I installed Yandex and that kept crashing, so did some offline google maps and that keeps loosing satellites is there one people can recommend please.

Sorry to say, but you need to accept the restrictions given with this kind of cheap units.
The modern navigation software needs more memory as it is available on your unit.
Igo should be installed on this unit. You really need to stick with it.
