welcome
Sorry, I don't know English, but I translate from Google. I have a problem. I updated the screen and an error occurred. And because a black screen appears after the logo appears. I can not enter the recovery recovery. The computer refuses to recognize the screen. There is someone who said it must be a 6pin. How do I get the cable that holds the 6 pin. Or is there a way to revive?
Where can I get a USB pin?
Is there a link to the site to buy?
Can I do a recovery or a way for the computer to recognize the screen?

You may have flashed the wrong bios.
I had a black screen to, the back-light was on, but the screen was displaying nothing.
Do yo know if windows boots?
You can see that if the power led flashes green a few seconds after booting the device for windows boot, for android boot you have a sound notification from the mailbox.
If you are in that situation, you can try the following process, tell me and I will try to provide you the right links.
I had flashed the wrong bios (single OS without hdmi instead of the super vi8 bios) and had no display anymore, I had to flash again the right bios without display, only by memory.
You need a USB hub with a USB keyboard. (and another pc to get the files needed to reflash)
- I got the bios for the right version of the vi8 (look a the model number on the back of the device) on official chuwi website (in chinese but I used google chome translation)
- I put the bios on a usb key root with the Onda flash tool executable and changed the extension of the bios file from img to fd.
- I plugged the usb key in the usb hub
- I booted windows and logged in 'blindly'
- I pressed Windows key + R to execute a command and typed 'e:update.exe' to launch the flash tool on the USB key, then I heard a sound warning from the flash tool, pressed enter and let the software do its work for 5 minutes.
- I then shutted down and rebooted the tablet by long pressing the power switch.
- I had the display working back with the chuwi logo and estimated myself lucky.
Conclusion : Check the destination model of the firmware twice before flashing!

hi ;
I am in the same situation could you please share with me the flash tool link.
Ok go to this post and download the joined zip : Then replace the bios with yours (file with the fd extension) change .img or .bin to .fd, if I remember well.

Check out this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/unbricking-teclast-x89-kindow-t3412968/ and this outside link https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/unbrick-x98-pro-bios-usb-flash/
for information on solving a hardbrick on a tablet.
I'm currently in the process myself with my Teclast X16 Plus
Did any of you fix the hard brick?

Hey everyone! I've been lurking for a bit, but first-time poster - hopefully this is in the right section!
I have a Nexus 7 (2012) that has no OS and hangs on the bootup splash screen. Unfortunately, the micro-USB port was broken at some point in its life, and the replacement port also doesn't work - when it's plugged in, Windows doesn't recognise it (device descriptor request failed).
So, is there any way for me to rescue this Nexus? I can't sideload any files onto it, and its storage is clean other than a factory image which can only be flashed with fastboot :crying:
I would appreciate it if anyone had any advice on this issue.
(The recovery on it is TWRP 3.0.2-0, if that helps.)
Thanks in advance, and happy holidays to everyone!

Hi! I have a Topway ts8 product, how can I enter recovery mode? Help me please ?
This product only has a reset hole, and in addition does not have a physical key. I have tried many ways but cannot enter recovery mode.
I use Google Translate, so the grammar may be inaccurate, I hope everyone will be sympathetic and helpful

Hello. Did you manage?
Sorry to bring this topic on top again but does anyone have solution to enter recovery mode of this device? I tried to use five fingers to tap, swipe at left top corner, hold reset button… but doesn’t work. My HU is stuck at logo.
Thanks
What has been tried
Currently, I connected KEY2 line to ground, My screen displays "start update", I have a rom in USB but it doesn't recognize the rom, 3s later screen appears "update end".
I've resolved the problem "Device is stuck at logo and couldn't enter recovery mode" : check your Android head unit power cable, there is a line named KEY2. Connect this line to ground. reset your device (use reset hole) then on screen you will see : "update start", now you're in update mode. Make sure you plug your USB in with the firmware, all files will be installed automatically. Make sure you're using right firmware, if not 3s later, screen displays update end.

A friend of mine has a RED Hydrogen One and has been experiencing weird behavior. Below are the steps:
1. Enter phone password
2. Press/tap enter to Unlock
3. Phone thinks, goes back to prompting for password
4. Enter an incorrect password
5. Press/tap enter
6. Get "Incorrect password" message is returned
In other words, the phone knows the password is correct, but when you tap to unlock it thinks for a moment and then goes back to the text box.
It does know, whoever, when you enter an incorrect password, so the password validation works.
She has a lot of sensitive documents stored in the physical phone storage (I know, I told her she should have never done that) so we are trying to avoid resetting if it is possible. Is there a place I can send the phone and have the data extracted? I tried connecting it to my laptop, but without USB for File Transfer enabled, it never sees the files from the phone.
Thanks in advance,
Danny
