CCC 12.3" Android Problems - Android Head-Units

Hello,
I have recently purchased a 12.3 android unit and got round to installing it the other day.
Everything works on the unit the only problem I seem to be having is a timed cut off on the android unit of the old ccc.
The ccc menu will only power on the android side when the old power plug is connected to the old screen. I can remove the power from the old screen and it will still run on the android side for a short amount of time before doing the same. I have to connect the old power plug back to old screen for it to load up on the android side.
Any help would be much appreciated

All I know is that apparently it is a 8gb ram model with the MTK P60 processor

It's not an MTCD device, you might get better exposure in the android head units forum.

I flashed android MCU update to Wince unit,now screen is black.plz help

I'm Ramzi and I'm totally new in this type of technology so I urge you to help me.
I have Chinese unit dvd in my Hyundai Sonata 2013.

by mistake I flashed android MCU update to my unit white it's Wince, the dvd is still working but the screen is black.

At beginning I tried to update it with last Android software for Middle East from HITS site,so I tried many time but it didn't read the Update from the SD card. So I thought that I should update the MCU first, so I flashed Android MCU update to my unit while it's Wince, so screen goes black and the dvd is still working with black screen. Because I wasn't aware that my unit is Wince not Android.
So now I urge you to help me, what should I do to get the screen back and if i can change from Wince to full android unit.
I'v Emailed HITS company, but unfortunately the r not helpful.
Please guide me with proper steps and software because there is no technical in Yemen for such unit.

The same thing happened to me, i have a dsr-n 270 head unit.
i updated the MCU as the constructor's instruction but the screen stays black now.
When i power it on it writes android as if it will start normal then the screen becames white then black.
I detect the HU bluetooth and the buttons make sound when i press.
someonne can help us pls?

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer? Maybe they could point you in the right direction. My knowledge is limited, but I would look into something for reinstalling the MCU/Firmware from download/and or recovery mode. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help. But that is where I would start looking. Its not a pure Android unit, so it may be more difficult to do as from what I understand winCE units emulate the android OS from inside the winCE OS (not sure if this unit is only winCE or if it is both winCE/Android.)
Yes i tried to contact "pearl" the seller of this model, they asked me to sent it to them 35 euros diagnostic+shipping cost.
They are not willing to help because a lot of people got the same problem, they gived us an update that breacks the head unit.
yeah i looked for the recovery/donload mode buit found nothing.
THis brand are not helpful and they keep all information.
All people who want to buy an android head unit avoid Navgear...

Should my PX6 unit be 1024x600?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the group! I've been an Android user for a very long time and know my way around the phone, but still new to the head units! I've just bought myself a unit and it's great so far! The one thing that bugs me is the the display doesn't fit the screen on the left side by a few mm. When I check on CPU-Z it shows the display as 1280x720, as it also does when I go into the Android settings. The screen is 10.1" although shows in CPU-Z as 6.89"? I think my unit should be set at a different resolution as I've seen other very similar units sold online but with 1024x600 resolution. I'm running Android 10 currently and no root. Does the Android 10 firmware installed have a different resolution to my unit itself do you think? Let me know if you need any information from me! Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Px5 power /sleep problem!

Hello! I have on my car px5 rk3368 android 10 unit, and some times the unit stuck at deep sleep and not wake when i press the buttons or turn on egnition.. Does this once every 4-5 months, there is no any pattern to understand the problem..
Once this problem happen the only way to turn on the radio is to unplug it and let it off the car for few days.. I tried to let it off the power few hours didn't worked.. After few days if i plug it back in work like charm lol.. I have no idea what it could be..
I think it's software related.. Maybe it's good idea to flash other os? But im not familiar with android car units, im very good with phones but car units never tested
Any idea how i can make the unit work? Or if its worth to flash other os?

Well i let the radio out of the car but again didn't open at all, so i removed the battery of the car for 1 mim and after radio worked again like charm! No idea what is the problem..
Im uploading the info of the radio because i will try change the operating system
Edit : on the android settings there is no any mcu info, is there any other way to check what mcu i got?

I need help
I tried to hpdate my tesla style head unit PX3 android 7.1. But it is now stuck on this screen and does not turn on.
Before i start the update the AC was on and i can not turn it off now !!
Any ideas?

Unit is NOT (Android automotive OS.)
You have a grey market chinese origin android head unit they are two very different things
Ask a moderator via the report button to move this to (Android Head-Units) .
@ludditefornow might be able to do that for you too.

Phoenix Automotive Android 9 Tesla Style head unit

Hello all!
Brand new here and desperately looking for answers.
I just purchased a used 2019 Ford Fusion with an aftermarket head unit. Below are the details.
Tesla style PX6 SIX-CORE 13.6" VERTICAL SCREEN ANDROID 9 FAST BOOT
While I was impressed at first I’m having issues with the screen turning black but everything is still functioning properly. I’ve went through all the settings and turned off any sleep settings or anything that may have pointed to the screen shutting off. The only solution right now is pressing the reset button on the front which is difficult to do while driving because I have to insert a paper clip to reset it. It’s extremely inconvenient as it literally disables access to everything including all my heat/AC settings.
I’ve contacted Phoenix Automotive directly but they are of zero help unless I provide an order number.
Really in a pinch here as I use this vehicle to Uber with and it’s definitely preventing me from doing my job.
Any help or direction would be appreciated more than I could express!

Randomly? After an amount of time? While running specific app?
Outside of that it could be a heat issue, or a loose cable connection.
Have you "opened" car console to inspect the back side of the head unit?
The more info you give the better

Yes, pretty randomly at this point with no specific amount of time. I tried narrowing it down to certain apps but it still does it with my phone disconnected and no apps running.
I did however notice that the unit seems to be pretty warm towards the top which coincidentally is right below vents. Any solutions you can think of for this?
I haven’t taken it apart yet as I just picked up this vehicle last week. I’ll be ordering the tools to access the unit.
I can’t find any documentation on this unit at all and that’s the most frustrating part.

You're welcome. Yes in general the info only these units is very sparse...
So the black screens are happening while using Carlink/Android Auto connection?
Connected by usb?
Maybe a bad usb connection to phone?

It’s baffling to me that a manufacturer would not provide support unless you provide an order number.
The black screen has happened when absolutely nothing was connected, even Bluetooth.
I’ve contemplated returning to the factory unit but at this point it would be challenging to find all the parts.
I love the unit, when it’s working. It’s just so inconvenient because I lose access to all my controls.
Again, everything continues to work when it goes to the black screen so it’s not that the unit is completely shutting down.

Might want to try a factory reset...
And yes, the support across the board from manufacturers is basically nil.

I’ve done a “restore factory settings” but haven’t figured out how to do a full reset.

Support costs money.
None of these head unit sellers will spend any time (and therefore money) helping you unless you are their customer.
Your order number also confirms the purchase date which gives them the out of warranty date.
Just because you have 1 of their units does not make you their customer. They are sold worldwide by resellers and support would have to come from them.
It isn't unique to head units or to Chinese sellers. If I buy something and it breaks then I take it to the shop I bought it from.
As to your issue, if everything is working perfectly when the screen goes black then I would remove my unit, open it up carefully and I would reconnect the screen ribbon cable ensuring it is connected properly.

Makes sense. I actually didn’t realize there were so many resellers of these head units. It was a mistake on my part to assume Phoenix Automotive was the only company who sold them. After doing some research I realized the party that I bought the car from could have purchased this head unit anywhere…
Thank you for the suggestion! I didn’t want to pull the unit out but it looks like this is my only option.
