I know that there is a version of the iconia series that uses windows. But what I want to know is if there is a way to get windows on my A500.
The A500 has an ARM , soo there's no way to run windows

Windows 8 will be heading to the shelves in the fall is what im hearing .and the rumor say there will be a arm verson out first.bases on Motorola chips im guessing as I thinkbthqt is what win phone is on. I loge win on my PC but I had a win 7 touch tablet. Very lame. Just not mentioned for touch device and very power hungry

I was thinking about buying a remix ultra tablet, but before I buy, I wonder if I could flash remix OS on my nexus 7 2013 so that I would know what I'm getting into before spending $300 on a device built specifically for it? Has anyone tried doing this successfully? If so, how?

If you have a look on their website, they have mostly used remix OS on computers. I wouldn't think there's much point to getting it on a tablet, you are better off getting a normal android tablet with marshmallow:laugh:!
Nexus 7 2013 has Marshmellow and works fine with it. Only thing you are getting is the RemixOS and a downgrade atm. I;d wait until they are further along with the development before even considering experimenting.
i have PhoenixOS with Google apps working on my nexus 7 2013 and i can say that now it's very very productive with PhoenixOS...

It's no good that RemixOS don't release anything for a 7" inches tablet as Nexus 7..
I hope that soon they can release a build for nexus 7 2012 and 2013 (as phoenixOS)

Indeed. Honestly, I love PheonixOS on my Nexus 7, with my Bluetooth Keyboard and mouse it's great, would love RemixOS.
Can you explain how you got google apps working? I keep getting stuck at finishing boot whenever I flash opengapps of any size

Hey venue 8 and venue 8pro are a whole different devices you won't be able to run the android in dell venue 8. But don't worry I have got you covered.
Venue 8 pro is x86. So remix os and phoenix os will work
These os are made for PC. Both of them are in beta version, so you will face errors. Still give it a try. For more info pm me.
I bought my Carlyle in 2020 and wonder if I should get a new smartwatch that runs Wear OS 3.
In the past I've done rooting of devices and ran other OS, like when I got an HP Touchpad and was able to put Android on it. If that's possible for the Fossil Gen 5, can someone point me in the right direction?
