G900F lost service after new rom flash?

Hey guys! I recently bought a Galaxy S5 through an ad a week ago and everything was working perfectly!
I then decided to flash the XtreStoLite rom because I was excited about the features and after I had flashed
it everything booted up without any issues and the network showed i had full service. A few hours passes by
and I notice I havent recieved any text messages or calls and that's when I notice that it says I can only make emergency calls.
I reflashed stock samsung rom but I still had the same issues. I first thought it was blacklisted / barred but for every other day
I keep searching for the IMEI to pop up in any of the databases but still nothing... Every service tells me the phone is unlocked.
I have no idea what to do or try at this point since I live in Sweden and bought the phone in Denmark and I dont even know what carrier
it was under

Nobody with any tips on what I could do? Still to this day every IMEI check site I go to says the IMEI is clean and all these errors started happening after I flashed another rom..
What are my options at this point?

I think I have the same problem. I bought the phone from private seller so I don't know what was the actual location of the phone.

My phone says IMEI passes, and network is unblocked. I flashed Alliance rom and it worked last night. This morning it kicked me off all data. No phone number and no network access. I go to dial and I get the roaming warning for US Cellular. I posted my own thread and found this one as well. I also sent a PM to Alliance rom dev and posted in that thread. I need some serious help.
Edit: I also have no PRL version, no "MIN", no phone number, and "mobile network state" says disconnected.

Go to Settings/More neworks/Mobile networks/Access Point Names!
If there are no entries, something is wrong. You need the APS´s for connecting the the network.
You cant find the correct APN´s of your Provider with google or in the FAQ of your Provider.
If you have them, you can enter the APN´s manually by klicking the "+" and type the address for web and then for mms. Its needed.

Try to flash maybe a different Rom, or try the stock one again, just 4 testing, if it´s working again.

Try flashing a stock firmware via Odin. Get one from Sam Mobile. Had a friend that something similar happened to him and in the end it turned out the phone was blacklisted, even showing a clean IMEI in multiple sites. Also, if you have lying around a backup of your EFS, try restoring that and see if it fixes your problem (fixed mine once).

I've tried Echo rom, Xtrolite, stock & phoenix.
Currently im on latest stock rom updated with Kies. Only thing i've modified is root & install recovery but other than that it's all stock.
At this point I'm thinking about getting a asansam box and try fixing the phone myself.

Xperia Z5 -> Three UK VOLTE

Now that Three UK has officially declared support for 800Mhz VOLTE on the Xperia Z5 I was wondering if anybody tried connecting to 800Mhz frequency.
I have got a EE sourced Z5 and I wonder whether it will connect to 800Mhz if I fash it with Three software.

If you flash it, possibly. There's no harm in flashing to find out and flashing back if you aren't satisfied.

It keeps connecting to H+ and occasionallt 0 to 1 bar of 4G.

Sounds like you're just in a bad coverage area, but there might be a certificate required for VoLTE on 3 that isn't on the EE firmware, not sure how its implemented outside of the US

I installed the Three firmware but I haven't done a factory reset as yet.

I don't know why you would need a factory data reset. But if you want to go ahead

Your phone should connect to the best band provided by your network by default, I don't think it's going to matter what European firmware you use. If you are on Three I would flash the Three firmware anyway so you can use VOLTE when it comes out.

I did a reset of my phone last night and today I noticed I can connect to the 800Mhz and actually use it.
I don't have VOLTE but it works as a data network

Im after flashing this 3 firmware i have flashed a z3 before but that was a tff file and real easy to do. I have downloaded the flashtool and firmware but struggling with this

Use the flashtool to automatically download the firmware for you.
It downloads and prepares the files for you to flash your Z5.

just realised needed to disable driver signature on windows 10 duu my bad flashing now. Thanks for the help though

That's the gist of it, yeah. You've just flashed your phone with the 3 customisation so that's who updates need to come through.

You will have to factory reset your phone because you will get a small system update from Three, which I think enables the 800Mhz network.
Not sure if it supports VOLTE but my phone doesn't show the VOLTE arrows but I have made calls while on 4G.
Or you can try to connect to the 800Mhz 4G network by going to a area where the 1800Mhz 4G signal is weaker.

I have factory reset now but got no update as of yet

is it in the beta version? i think (hope) it's a bug in the beta version. on mine sometimes it's completely black, and sometimes it's a bit transparent, but no blur.

I have android 7.0 installed via json hijack method b336 i don't know If it's beta or final version but i have this black quick settings problem and messenger app crashing

It's not bug, they removed the transparent background, app suggestion and app twin for mid budget phones.

When you go to settings and it reminds you to turn on cellular network, setup gmail account, etc.
It's not removed, just disabled so rooting and editing buildprop can enable all of the features.

okay, well those suggestions are annoying anyway, but the blur should work just fine on the p9 lite. too bad i need root it to enable that. also, in emui 4 blur does work without issues, so i'm not really sure why they would disable it

Is it possible to use VoLTE and VoWifi on Mate 8?

I remember reading in some webs that those options are there, but cannot find it on my L29C636B563. My carrier has specifically turned on these features for my phone number, but they are not present in Settings. Has anybody used these on Mate 8?

I am not clear what VoWifi is. But I do use VoLTE on my mate 8 now.

Android 7.0, EMUI 5.0, AL10.

Even after the local operator turned on VoLTE for my specific phone number, I was not able to use it. Today, after upgrading ROM to 586, this shows up now.

FYI... for statistical purposes , USA user, L29B185C560, the option is not available.
Must be in later builds?

My Mate 8 is Version NXT-L29 C636 B594 - Android 7.0 / EMUI 5.0.1 -
and don´t have the Option "VoLTE calls" in the Mobile-Network menu.
My Network prorvider in Germany, is o2-Telefonica, and my SIM is LTE and VoLTE enabled.
Do you know a way, to enable the VoLTE menu entry,
for Mate 8 L29C636 ??

I think you should contact your carrier. Your provider network should support VoLTE and it should enable the service for you.

"Identify unsaved number" missing since Oreo Update

Hello,
I noticed that Samsung removed the "Identify unsaved number" function with the Oreo update.
since the function was based on Hiya I've installed the Hiya app but it's far away from what the inbuilt one was. Samsung's function had definitely more data sources to identify unknown numbers (for example Yelp). maybe too many because I heard it caused conflicts with data protection laws and was therefore removed.
does anyone have an idea how to get this option back? I think installing the Nougat dialer could do the trick, but without root that's probably impossible.
any clues here?

I have the same problem. I can't activate it. My rom is rooted and i have installed the BTU csc for oreo but didn't solved it.

[emoji1] Try to flash the oreo csc file and see if it help you. (Don't forget to backup) keep in mind that there is a problem (at least for me) with app lock option.
