I got my MXP last week and I love it so far. However, I see so many complaints about busted units, units going bad, and poor customer service, that I'm debating returning it and getting something else.
Now we all know that the negative stuff always gets more kicking and screaming than the positive, so I wanted to see how many people have had good experiences so far. How many of you have had the phone since release and have had no issues? How many of you have had good experience with customer service?
I have 7 days to decide if I'm returning the phone, but I wanted to see if it's really all that bad since Moto was bought by Lenovo.
Really... i have no problems here. I´m happy with that phone, exept it has no fm radio, all other things are good for me. good battery, good haptic, no hang ups, smooth ROM and nice camera. and the material is very nice (i have a leather back).
It's the coolest phone I've ever owned for sure. You can't go wrong with Moto Maker customizations when it comes to look and feel. Love the feel of my wooden back. I've dropped it a few times, albeit inside a case, and so far I have no dents, scratches, or screen issues. Love the practically stock Android build. Love the extra Moto apps. Having SMS read back to me is really nice when I'm driving. The software still runs snappy and smooth, with only occasional stutters (which happens with ANY android phone regardless of chipset let's be honest). The phone can get warm with heavy use, but never what I'd call hot. The camera may not be on par with the iPhone 6 or Galaxy S6, but it's still the best I've owned coming from HTC and Motorola phones.
My only real annoyance is the headphone jack being on top as opposed to the bottom of the phone. I also wish that 3rd party music player apps could have the same functionality with Moto display that Play Music does.
This is an awesome phone IMO, especially for the price.
I'm sure many of us are happy. However, I will acknowledge that customer service seems to be a significant and pervasive problem.
Luckily haven't had to deal with customer service, and I'm very happy with the phone. Feels good, works good, good price..... no complaints.
I really like my phone and features. Battery life is good for my use and overall it is an excellent device. You have to understand there will be bad units like with any other phone. Also, people on the forum are usually more advanced users and have a tendency to be very particular on what they want from a phone. There is always going to be something out there that does some function, whether it be processor, camera or whatever, better than this phone. I look at it from the price and value I receive from this phone. It is an excellent buy for the dollar. It is by no means perfect but satisfies my needs.
Love my X, coming from a Z3 rooting is so easy

Are you kidding? The Moto X Pure Edition is like the best phone you can buy! I just got a brand new 32 Gb model on Amazon for $450, that is $250 off the MSRP of $699. You can root it, you have an external sdcard, you can get it with larger internal sdcard, you get a huge, brilliant screen, and you can root it. What is not to love?
The only recommendation I can make is that you ditch the stock Google Now launcher and get something good like the Nova Prime Launcher. With the Nova launcher, you can add Xposed modules and really change it the way you like. Great phone, no complaints!

I'm all over Nova. Already rooted with xposed and such. Just couldnt' decide, with all the huff and gruff I've been reading, if it was going to crap out on me in a few weeks.

No huff. This is a BOSS phone! And you are up to date with Xposed and Nova. You, my good man, are all set!
So far it's been a blast with this phone, I'm really glad i bought it! No defects or problems with the phone that I've noticed. It's really smooth and close to stock, decent amount roms so far, amazing speakers, screen, and feel. It's great, just wish we could get our hands marshmallow asap!
The camera is such a huge upgrade from the note 3s, and the vibration motor is so nice. Love this phone.
My Best Buy MPX has a couple spots on the LCD panel. Thinking about returning it but I'll get a replacement. Have had the Note 3 and Note 4 and really love this phone.
Don't like the volume button placement (or how flimsy the buttons feel) nor do I like the mono colored LED light.
But I really, really like this phone.

I'm just trying to understand how the phone is $699. Am I missing something? I see the Amazon price and am just wondering

You are not missing anything. That is what Verizon charges for a new smartphone. Nobody else charges that much but when I got my Razr, that was a $599 phone. If I lost it and needed it replaced, I had to pay the full $600 unless I got insurance. Verizon kept that $600 replacement Razr Maxx price for years! After a couple of years, I wanted to drop the insurance but they would not budge on the $600 replacement cost so I kept the coverage. I lost/broke the Maxx 4 times in 3 years, each deductible was $100 with the Verizon/Asurion insurance. I broke it 3x and left it on the men's room counter at McDonalds once, drove right back, no phone.
Verizon would not insure this phone because they did not sell it to me. They told me to return the Moto-X Pure Edition to Amazon, then buy a phone from them (At FULL RETAIL) and then they would insure it! Who wants a watered down 2nd Gen phone with no ext-sdcard, tiny screen, and small internal sdcard? Bah! Amazon has the Asurion insurance, $36 for 4 years. But, no lost or theft coverage.
The Pure Edition at $400 Amazon is a good price, brand new. I wanted some room in the phone and $50 to get a 32 GB internal sdcard was worth it since you cannot do that upgrade later like buying a huge external card and plugging it in.
I've had mine from from day 1 and have yet to have an issue. People only post when they have bad experiences!
I love the phone, having owned it for about a month now. Not sure why you'd want to switch if you love it too.
I am really happy with the MXPE.
Headphone out audio quality/power is really good (main reason I bought it), with Audio Effects turned off ( completely disabled). Runs smooth and cool (does get warm with extended GPS navigation using Google maps), overall fewer glitches than other phones I've had, but I keep the Moto stuff disabled and a fairly minimal app load which probably helps. (No gaming either.) 128GB SD card mounted, also mounts 2TB exFAT USB HD and spins it up with no external power on USB OTG, a pleasant surprise. Using 2 second MP3 lead-in silence as workaround for ringer/notification volume ramp issue, no complaints there. Battery performance is middling, but the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 actually delivers as promised and effectively compensates with quick top-ups while commuting etc. Display auto-brightness is slow to respond, I turned it off and use the manual brightness slider which is fine because it is in the two-finger pulldown menu. Wireless works well, including WiFi which also does same-SSID AP handoffs as needed without dropping streaming audio/video. The double-chop flashlight and double-twist camera activate are actually quite useful. Camera functions and takes great photos IMO, but I'm not picky about that. Have not tried the selfie cam, taping that over was the second thing I did to this phone (first was unlocking bootloader).
If it already had T-Mobile LTE Band 12 and VoLTE it would be 5 star in my opinion, as it is I give it 4.5/5. Looking forward to band 12 as promised by Moto.
Customer service is abysmal, but that is the norm in 2015.
There's no other phone i'd rather have right now
I got this phone via MotoMaker and did not have defects or issues with the build of the phone. MXP does very well in poor signal areas on VZ and rarely drops calls (unlike the LG G3 which dropped calls all the time). The screen is excellent outdoors on sunny days, I love the two front speakers, and had no problems with the headphone jack. The camera is the only disappointment: it's better than I thought but still not as good as the G3.
Overall, I'm very happy with the MXP.
Honestly it's a great phone. I have two gripes one minor and one major. No band 12 support OOTB and my major gripe is the moto x would've benefitted greatly from an adreno 420 or adreno 430. The cpu is fine but a lot of stuff and battery probably would've benefitted from more GPU power.
I was set on a OnePlus 3T but this is one sale right now and I LOVE the audio capabilities of this thing. I have a rooted OP1 and have run CM for a couple years. It sounds like this phone isn't as far along as the OP3 when it comes to Roms etc... Correct? Any good Roms with everything working? One with theme customization would be nice too. Being used to perfectly working CM etc. would I regret getting this or should I go for it? Are there good Rom alternatives? I used to be one who would tinker with my phone a lot but these days I want a ROM thati like and just works and don't have to worry about it.
One other thing. It has been a long time since I've had a phone with an SD card slot. Can that storage be used as internal storage? On my Shield TV I can make one huge pool of storage with all the external storages plugged in.

You could have just looked at the ROM section of the forum to find your answer. We currently have one CM ROM, and it's not "perfectly working". It's a WIP.
You should buy the OnePlus 3T. The dev community for the Axon7 won't ever be as big as OP, and it seems that's what you care about.
Hola
I was interested in this A7 since it was announced earlier this year due to the amazing hardware and audio capabilities.
Fast forward 3 months or so since I have it, I can say that it delivers on the hardware in most aspects. The issues with this phone in my experience:
1. Camera ain't the best but just ok. Don't consider this phone if camera is important to you.
2. The hardware capacitive buttons are too close together and up to now it is tough to use the back and recents. This can somewhat be managed by using on screen navigation buttons which is available from one of our kind Devs who added it to a stock firmware based ROM.
3. There is no minute vibration controls. It is either on or off. On simply provides a hard, and relatively long vibration, annoying when typing. Yes you can turn it off on your keyboard but I still prefer it on regardless.
4. The single biggest issue for me is the lack of stable third party ROMs like RR, Pure Nexus, multiROM, DU, and the like. Also no full kernel is available yet - I see a Dev was able to provide 1 kernel but it is a work in progress and for that we are most grateful to the Dev. Another Dev, Unjustified Dev, took the time and effort to provide us an instance of CM13.1 but it has major issues with audio and mic. We know that Unjustified Dev has put a lot of time into trying to get the audio working better but due to the proprietary drivers related to audio it is also a work in progress. A few others have been trying to also help but mic is still iffy at this point. So if third party ROMs are your thing then this ain't a phone worthy of your money.
5. So frustrated I was with the initial lack of stable third party ROMs that I went ahead and purchased the OnePlus 3T, man that brand can attract Devs. I used the OnePlus for a few weeks but because I missed the dual front facing speakers of the A7, I went back. By this time another Dev was able to provide a very stable stock firmware based ROM with a few additional tweaks while keeping the audio features intact. I now use the A7 with Xposed and it is now OK. I am still hoping that our brilliant Devs will be able to get us a stable CM instance and I know they are still sacrificing time and effort into trying to provide us something.
6. I go back occasionally to my 3T to play with the latest iterations of some custom ROMs, but audio is the missing feature on the 3T.
Hope this helps you. I can't really pronounce on the other items you raised.
Get the A7 ... Great hardware & software improves (literally) daily!
OP3(T) has poor carrier support in the US. US model of Axon 7 is better tailored to US networks.
The Axon 7 is due to get an upgrade to Nougat in January 2017. I'm sure there will be many fixes to known problems that come with it.

Thanks. Fortunately I don't care much about camera quality. With dev stuff really I can get by as long as I can root it and have at least a stockish rom that completely works.
One thing I do like now is the ability to customize the notification LED to change colors based on different things. Would this be possible with this device?
It really infuriates me that almost all devices come out with one mono speaker. It seems like stereo speakers of any kind at least should be standard at this point. Then again I'm one who wishes these phones had physical keyboards because After seven or whatever years I still can't type worth a crap on a screen.
ZTE is a ****ty company with crap software. And the community development for this device is almost non existent (except for a few guys that are doing their best with what they have).
But you get front facing speaker and great audio (with awful support, though).
ZTE is so bad as a company that they dont even let us discuss about the Nougat update. You'd think they learn something after the last update that broke the power managment of the device and couldn't fix anything since launch , but no... 3 months now since the last update and we dont get a proper fix.
So, back to topic. Go with the OP3T, you get a better device, with better support and more resell value.

Not sure what to believe. I have also heard that OP has the worst support and ZTE's is better. I've never had any problem with any phone or needed any support really outside of me messing stuff up with rooting etc.
I saw one review from August talking about the A7's great power management. Are you saying that no longer works?

The Axon 7 has a 2 year warranty vs. 1 for the OP3T so the support argument is not clear-cut.

I am the same as you. Personally I don't think CM adds much compared to stock providing you already use a different launcher. I personally use blinkfeed launcher from HTC on all my phones (and it has custom theming) and I can tell you that with that I don't need any other ROM as I feel the settings menu on the Axon 7 is great. Initially the software had some mild annoyances but with the latest update I am perfectly happy (and nougat update should fix the last remaining issues in January based on what ZTE said).
I think the OP3T is also a strong device, but you would be trading off gorgeous QHD display and amazing sound with slightly better battery life, which I personally don't use, since the Axon 7 charges in 70 min.
Personally I don't feel it makes sense to buy a full HD device going into 2017, as I want to be able to use good quality VR. Also on AMOLED displays which have a pentile screen arrangement 1080p is more like 900p in terms of sharpness. QHD look more like 1200p.
The only case where I would recommend the OP3T is if you are a non VR hard-core gamer and need extra performance as 1080p display can help squeeze more performance, but in most games the difference won't be that noticeable.

I completely agree with this guy. I'm blown away by how poorly ZTE have managed things, and their support is borderline non-existent. If the 1080p screen of the OP3/T wasn't a borderline deal breaker for me (VR) I would have attempted to return this phone. If I had to pick a phone right now I'd buy a OP3T, and that's even considering that the DAC on the A7 is a big deal for me which leads me to my next point...
You say the DAC is a big deal for you, well I should let you know that the Hi-Fi DAC it doesn't seem to work in anything but ZTE's default app which is absolute trash with less than bare-bones functionality and it's very buggy.
Edit: I forgot to clarify one point; why "1080p" is so pixelated for VR. It's because AMOLED panels are advertised as false resolutions due to a legal loophole; there isn't legal standard. They use a pentile pattern meaning they have 1/3rd less subpixels, and as much as Samsung's engineers will tell you that it effectively looks the same to the human eye, it absolutely does not, even at extreme density such as "1080p" on a 5.1" display, or even "1440p" on this 5.5" display. On flat colours I can see the pentile pattern.

For me warranty is a decision factor. The fact that ZTE offer 2 year warranty even for unlocked devices is a plus, even if I don't feel a need to unlock right now. The fact that Nougat update will be very fast coming already in January is also a plus.
Only if you are in the US, consider the Axon 7. Anywhere else, including the US, OnePlus is a reliable option.
People complain about the ZTE software. I love it. Had it for 3 days and no complaints. I live outside the US and it works fine on our 4G networks in Trinidad.
The screen and the speakers are two things the Axon 7 trumps over the OP3T. And a visual and listening experience to me is reason enough to get this phone over any other. amoled 1440p and front facing stereo speakers PLUS memory card support and a great battery? Its a no brainer, get this phone
^ I've never really had much of an issue with the cosmetics of skins. The Honor 5x I am replacing is about as heavy a skin as you can get these days and I didn't mind it. People always hate on it because it rips off Apple (ZTE does a bit of that too). Of course I found Google Now launcher, and have since move on to Action launcher, which is just awesome.
It was between the One Plus 3T and the Axon 7. The price is what ultimately did it for me. I got the A7 for $325 shipped on Jet.com, when I called to ask a question and the woman gave me a $15 off code. That's over a $100 difference in price with very comparable specs (even without the code it was going to be $340 shipped). I care about roms, but only after ZTE will EOL the phone. And with prices coming down, and value like this at around the $200-300 price point, I might not even keep it that long.
ZTE needs to make an impression on the US market. Or at least they want to. They did the hardware right this time. Now they just need to do the update dance. Honor (Huawei) committed to two years. These two brands appear very similar in software thinking and other areas. Given the Azon 7's two year warranty, I think the are probably going to also commit to two years of updates, stated or not. It only makes sense. And it also makes sense to announce that. Or anything. Maybe I missed it.
This phone is highway robbery at $325. I might have considered the $100 more if the 3T were waterproof.

Yeah, I was happy the firts couple of weeks too.
Let us know when you start to get annoyed with the bugs.
If you want good Dev, ROM support., go with 3t. That is my biggest disappointment with the A7. This could change in the near future but it may not. Don't get me wrong, the A7 is a really good phone but if I had to choose again, I would sacrifice resolution and SD card for more Dev support.

I don't see much changing as far as dev support goes for the Axon. With the death of CM it becomes even more unlikely that devs are gonna pick it up for development. It's about 6 months since release now and there is barely anything for the Axon so we'll have to be really optimistic to see anything change now. The main difference here is not aftermarket support, but the support from the in house devs of OnePlus and ZTE. And OnePlus is way more mature in that aspect. Mifavour is not half as bad but it will eventually wear you down.
As titles says, this phone is now $500.
Any thoughts from current OP5 owners? Cheaper than 5 at list price, likely cheaper than 5T when it comes out. Only 4GB of RAM, though, and no headphone jack. Reports say camera isn't great, but improving.
I personally love the build of it, though.
The phone definitely has its limitations, but at $500, It's going to give OnePlus a run for its money I think.
Thoughts?
Love the hardware, but then again I'm not a huge fan of bezeless devices, it just doesn't matter to me that much. You'll get a lot of development for OP5 tho and almost none on the PH1. Both get regular updates, both have camera struggles. I haven't seen any battery stats for the PH1, but the my OP5 is doing great, I'm really satisfied. Also heard there are still software issues with the Essential PH1, like lag, stutters app crashes and app not being optimized to take advantage of the screen. I don't care about headphone jacks, it was always the first thing to break on any of my devices, I switched to BT 2 years ago and never looked back.
I'd keep my OP5 though, I'm really satisfied with it. The PH1 has too many compromises that it shouldn't be considered even for $500 dollars. That's the thing with 1st gen products, handful of companies get it right on the first try.
Clean Android, I think the camera blobs are available (unlike OP5) and solid construction got my attention. And the screen is flat. It looks like a great deal to me.
I'd still just wait to see what Essential 2nd gen has to offer. Their first go at it was good, but not good enough for me to pull the trigger on
wow...$499 is a good price. probably would have bought it if they changed the price 3 weeks earlier..
If the ph-1 gets some software development, it would make it a great phone and deal at 499. Hopefully at that price it will
No root yet... Also on Verizon its horrible
Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
My thoughts are that I'll never buy a phone on launch day again.
Nah, I think it's pretty ugly with that friggin camera notch at the top. There is a reason it's price dropped already.
Is anyone feeling fed up with OnePlus on some level. This week they released their new beta 7 for the 6T. The update lists updates for weather and Switch app and this is the same for all their devices on open beta.
To me at least it feels like they're struggling to keep up with the beta roll outs for all their devices.
There are many bugs/feature requests that are being ignored and they are just rolling out these meaningless updates so that they can say that they provide two beta updates a month.
I've spent a fair bit of money on OnePlus phones in the last few years and always defending them mainly with the point of updates are frequent and the software is great,. It now I'm not so sure going forward. Looking at other devices now giving more for less money, even Samsung mid range A50 is giving a 4000mah battery, expandable storage, and official IPS rating amongst many other features
Really thinking of moving on from OnePlus as the price keeps rising and it's not worth it for what we're getting
Honestly the software isn't a problem. The complaints most people have are prices rising without anything more in the phone. IN FACT from the 6 to the 6t we lost several features and QoL things.

Absolutely, this is a major concern. I got a free 6T through the referral program and sold my 6 which I soon realized was the better device. Do miss my led and working fingerprint, just concerned that the software is taking a tumble now too
Feel free to go buy a crappy $1,000 Samsung or iPhone that provide nothing except nice screens and cameras. Good luck with that. For the money, OnePlus is the best value performance and mod friendly phone around that supports all cell networks in the US. So does a Pixel, but that is also another $1,000 phone and their updates are no better.

facts.
No problems with them here.
I've owned the following (not counting my previously owned iPhones lol):
Nexus 6P
Pixel XL
Pixel 2 XL
Pixel 3 XL
OnePlus 5
OnePlus 5T
OnePlus 6
OnePlus 6T
The 6T has definitely been my favourite device and best performer out of all these past smartphones I've listed.
The 6 has the same specs as 6T but I guess the software wasn't as polished as it is now on my 6T. It's blazing fast and smooth, no stutters or lag.
It's surprisingly faster and less laggy compared to my recent 3XL! The initial app launch speeds for example, are significantly faster on my 6T (and no, it's not just because of faster animations).
The price is slowly going up, but it's still the best bang for your buck compared to other devices in this price range.
I do enjoy quick software updates, but I'm not a beta user and it's also by no means a deal breaker for me. I don't mind a few delayed updates here and there. No big deal.
Battery life has been insane as well, averaging 6 hours of SOT where I normally get about 4-5.
The issues I have with this phone are the following:
- Lack of VoLTE and VoWiFi (but I think this is a carrier specific issue for me)
- Weak and cheap feeling vibrate motor
- Inferior camera (especially after using the Pixel 3 XL camera) (Gcam port helps a bit, but still inferior)
- FP scanner is hit or miss, and I hate how night light disables and screen brightens during scan/lockscreen
- FP scanner incompatible with custom ROMs (the flashaholic in me is having withdrawals) (however OOS is growing on me and I'm loving the stock software experience now!)
- Wrong mic used in some apps (i.e. Snapchat)
However, despite all these issues, I still consider it to be an overall better experience and value compared to all my other devices I've owned in the past. I may skip the OnePlus 7 and keep this, not only because it's been a great overall experience, but also because the 7 is supposed to have a popup front camera. Introducing motorized parts is asking for trouble, so I may skip it.
All-in-all, it's the best phone I've ever owned and I'm definitely not fed up or anything of that nature.
Coming from Samsung to OnePlus 6T. There isn't a chance in hell for me to go back. Devices are way more expensive and they aren't as good for me any way.
With storage and root capability I couldn't ask for more, other than maybe a working LED.
As for updates unless they have something that really changes things then great if not who cares. People buy new devices then immediately want updates I just don't get it.
For me this is the best device I have ever owned. Just my two cents.

Same here , recently switched from HTC with a new model every year since the Touch <1992 maybe) lol.
No complaints here with the 6T. VoLTE and WiFi calling work. By no means does this phone have a weak vibration motor.
Google camera is my default.
Fingerprint scanner works 95 % of the time. Also using Renovate ROM 11.1. I have always used an original OS, no AOSP or custom OS ROMs.
Looking forward to the full screen 7T and pop-up camera, it will be a nice feature. If your vibration motor has never quit on a phone I highly doubtful the camera will have any issues.
My last device was a Galaxy S8+, being in the U.S., it would have to be a HUGE breakthrough to get me to switch back. Perhaps like an unlockable bootloader on sammy devices, but we know that isnt gonna happen!
I hear you. This is my first OnePlus device and I actually don't like the stock software. After 3 months I grew to hate it due to several reasons. After getting fed up with it I decided to install Havoc ROM and haven't looked back since. I love Havoc and the phone runs extremely good with it. My main regret is the 7 is looking really nice. I like how it doesn't have a front cam because I don't use the front cam and the idea of having a full screen front display is intriguing. I might sell my P2XL and OP6T when the 7 comes out. I might also wait to see what the Note 10 has to offer. I'm not a huge Samsung fan but the Note 10 might be interesting.

How does the Referral Program work tho. I know this is OT but OP6T is my first OP phone. Got it solely for the custom Development. And while the FP is a letdown its slow anyway so I don't care. Phone is smooth overall. As for software I couldn't care less as the only time I used OOS was to unlock bootloader.

Vibrate motor feels weak and inferior to me, especially after feeling the quality of a Pixel 2 and 3 vibrate motor. I can't really feel it in my pocket.
However, you raise an interesting point with the popup camera not giving any issues if a vibrate motor doesn't. Will have to wait and see once the 7 is officially announced!
I like my 6T. Best phone I ever had. But, I do miss the LED (it was a major part of how I used my phones), and the vibration motor on every phone I've had in the last 6 years or so has gotten worse each time. Not just oneplus. I miss the old Blackberry vibrators that could buzz the phone off the table.
I really like my 6T! Of course it's not all rainbows here either, there's a few annoying thing about this phone I'd change if I could. The mono speaker on the corner of the phone is just plain annoying, far too easy to muffle for a device with a built in "gaming mode" since obviously your hands will be on the top and bottom of the device. And the decision to keep the source for the new fingerprint sensor closed source...... That aggravates me since I soley went oneplus for the stellar dev scene here...... OP threw a wrench in the machine with that. It didn't stop development in any way, but I won't use a rom that lacks such a big feature, through zero fault of the devs here.
Yes I am fed up with oneplus. Especially software, as it's working bad. I've heard oneplus is supposed to be smooth, in my case scrolling is a nightmare. Also... Samsung s7 gets more updates and faster than this. It's April, and we're still on January patch. And this company has how many devices supported? 4?

Agreed, this was a great upgrade coming from Samsung and their soaring prices.

On beta 7, and Android security update of March 1st.
Sorry if there's a thousand and one types of these threads already on this forum. I am coming from a OnePlus 5t. I got it right at launch because a friend got a 5 and I heard the t variant was going to be better. Fast forward to now. I hit the trigger on an 8pro and I just finished setting it up.
Maybe it's buyer's remorse because I dropped 1k on it. Maybe it's because I'm letting a lot of people's distaste for the phone influence me. Maybe it's the rumors about how the 8t will probably get all the stuff like the camera and screen bugs fixed.
I kinda want to see if I can return the phone and wait out for the 8t/8t pro. My 5t is running fine. A little battery wear and my charging port is garbage and won't warp charge unless I put it in a super specific spot. However it has zero lag and I haven't had a single software problem.
Anyone else in my shoes? I love OP and I have faith in them delivering a really good product in a few months. I just kinda keep getting this thought in the back of my head that I don't want to play the lottery with this phone. The phone is an obvious upgrade but nothing has wowed me. Camera feels like the colors feel off and that was the feature I was really looking forward to.
Also would I even get a full refund? I've never had to deal with OnePlus customer service.
Why not just wait for the oneplus 43 pro? There is always going to be a better phone just found the corner. I got the 8 pro couple of days ago and love it. I am not a photographer but the photographs look brilliant to my untrained eye. I haven't gone looking for any screen issues and haven't seen any in normal use.
