sorry 4 not exp much the mob stuck on the first screen and the only way my comp see it is by boot mode and i have recive it like that i think someone was trying 2 put frensh lang on it

These are great guides. The only difference is you need to start in bootloader mode, since you say it is there, and manually choose the bootloader version when prompted by the updater program.
OR, you can use SD Card method. Good luck.
Also, DEFINITELY read up in the forums and wiki, as stevebonning suggested. Could save you much trouble later.

I don't think you're going to get a better reply until you explain exactly what you have done, and what exactly you have done to try to fix it. These short 1-line messages saying "it doesn't work, i tried everything" are not going to cut it.

as i said before i the updater always come with error 262 communication errorsduring the update process .as i said someone try 2 flash it with frensh lang before im using hard spl v7 and Satin Medium but no luck always same error after 0%complete it on the white screen please help

Well, I did not go back and read the thread, but have you tried SD Card flashing method. You will not get a 260 Comm Error.

T3238 Touch "3G" Clone HELP (Bricked K3)!

I flash this phone with a wrong image, and now only a white screen appear.
Is impossible to make any key combination to get to the "download screen" or "update via k3img.bin".
But if i connect the cel via activesync I can see it on the desktop via trueconnection or any other remote control software (the cel is "working").
Some days ago, i make a dump of this cell and I have it on my computer (via pdocread), so my idea is to use the pdocwrite to at least write the first part00 to reprogram the buttons, so i can use a k3img.bin (in chinese... better than nothing) again.
But the software says that the partition is write protected, and I try almost all ways to unlock the Extended_ROM on windows and still says that is write protected.
Can u, masters of the cell phones help me?

Im facing the very same problen, so if some more knowledged might help us.
As Beastworm already described - I am too unable to get Download mode because of wrong button mapping.

what u do?
and, what .img u use to reflash the phone?

I installed the app, connected the phone & waited until it was recognized as windows mobile. Started the IDT before the first aid kit & used image: P638M30_TH_UI1_L12_C7_CHS_MFGW_WM650_C02SPC002R01_091203.bin (WM6.5 Chinese).
After the IDT was waiting for the phone to connect, I started up the first aid kit & simply clicked Download mode and the IDT took care of the rest.
It took me two flashes to get it right, but after that it's been working as expected.
Im not sure, but if you're running either windows vista or 7, you might wanna run the first aid kit as an administrator.

nothing, i am in windows 7 (and running it as administrator) and the download mode button is still in grey
I will search for a xp machine and try again.
btw. The 6.1 chinese rom, have a good button mapping.

Do you mind sharing that working 6.1 image? And I hope you can revive your phone with some xp machine!

I dumped a working 6.1 English, but only the *.raw-files. I don't know how to get them together to a working image.

i have a dump of a english too. But I don't know how to convert it as a .bin too
NEWS: MY PHONE IS ALIVE AGAIN (in a windows XP machine)
but.... i flash another bad rom , and now all is flipped like a mirror (and the buttons are still bad mapped )
The K3 First aid kit don't work now (it recognizes it, but when i press "download mode" the phone don't restart). Is a very clean spanish rom of 6.1, so i think that p638chinesestuff.cab that is installed when a hard reset is done, is the responsible to k3firstaid work.
So i will try to extract it from the dump, and install it on the phone, and try to reflash again.
Why I flash a bad rom?... i have a file with the name "K3imgCHI61.bin" and I think thats was the chinese 6.1.... but not. It is the Chilean (my country) 6.1

I read somewhere (I don't now where) that somebody solved the problem with the mirrored screen after flashing a new rom. He made a hard reset and after aligning screen everything was o.k.

I can't find the hard reset combination of this rom via buttons
And the startup clean via settings don't work.

can someone send me that p638chinesecharacters.cab file what is installed in the phone during a hard reset?

Focus Stuck at Samsung bootscreen

Hey friend need help from you guys i have a Samsung focus which i got from my friend and this phone does boot its hangs at the Samsung boot screen. What i know about this phone its a refurb piece from at&t apart from that i don't know anything what OS version it was running.
So this is what i have tried so far.
I tried to hard reset the phone but when i tru to put it to the reset mode the second it goes to the mode it restarts and and comes back to the boot screen, but some how i managed to format it but to ass no luck with the formatting.
Tried the Download mode also and tried to flash the stock ROM from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1131022 but i got an error >
THIS NOT AN RETAILS DEVICE, How come it cannot be a retail device if it is not an retail device then do we have any other rom for this specific phone which is not an retail phone ?
I searched for this (NOT A RETAIL DEVICE) and was not able to find anything.
Any help from you guys will be really appreciated.

Try the Flasher from this post (4th link, WP7 Downloader 7.41).
Extract the UCJK2 rom and instead of WP7 Downloader 7.05 try that one.
If that fails you may have to flash a custom rom (see the post in my sig). Or wait for someone with a better solution.

Thanks for replying mate, Tried the stock rom with the downloader u have suggested but i get following errors.
Partition image is not equal do u erase and download all ?
If i press YES on that window i get this> SPH-I350 Downloader has stooped working and ask me to close the program ?
And if i press the NO the windows close and phone boots to Samsung boot screen from download mode.

To add to the above can i flash custom rom over this as the phone only goes to Download mode ?

You can try. However first things first.
Can you try using both flashers from the UCJK2 rom?
WP7 Downloader Ver 7.21 for All Device (Publish version).exe
WP7_Downloader_Ver_7.05_for_Retail_Device_(Product_Force_Select_MD5_X).exe
Normally you should be able to flash UCJK2.

Tried the WP7 Downloader 7.21 and got this error
The device does not match with the selected binary, Downloader will not do anything.
With WP7 Downloader 7.05 i get this.
This device is not retails device, Downloader will not do anything.

If you can get into download mode then try installing MAGLDR, then once in MAGLDR install a custom ROM. It won't do any checks for RETAIL or otherwise and will just flash what you tell it to.

tried to install MAGLDR but but after the installation completed it said it will reboot to the mag mode but it dint and booted to the Samsung logo.

you have to press and hold vol-down + camera then power on the device. It should propmt you to format or press '<-' just press '<-' and then you will be in MAGLDR.

Yeah I was able to boot into MAG and the I tried to flash the clean rom 2.0 but it gave me an error- wring size block inside ......I have heard about bad blocks but what is this wrong size ?
To add to above phone goes to download mode easily but to get it to the format screen I have to try 100 time.

It sounds like someone at some time tried to flash a Focus v1.4 ROM to your v1.3 phone. This is what happens when someone does that. There is no fix currently. Sorry.

Hmmmm........will there be any chance for the fix in future ? Or should I sell it as parts....

It's an old device so there probably wont be too much in the way of new development/fixes, but no one can say for sure.

I buy this phone on ebay por pars.
on the back says REV 1.3 but when i try to restore in WP7 7.41 says WP7_PRODUCT_4K_DETECTED CC
if i try to restore with 1.3 says that is not correct.
Sometimes goes t recovery, something not.
magldr is installed, and when i try to install a rom for 1.3 says something that block number is incorrect.
any possible solution or is dead?

DO you have nandroid backup of your ROM ? If yes then restore that else download stock rom from here & AIO flasher from here & just restore system.img...
Prepare yourself for worst before playing...

Have you downloaded A21 stock ROM from first post? No...... That file has drivers too & that site also offer drivers separately...

yes i have downloaded stock for a21 and i still not found drivers thr bcz ever time i click on it it open a new page but file has been delte or invalid.

Hi there.
I see that there is written on this topic in WWW, but wanna have help for my case.
I have used SPFlash tool and watched this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/andr...-dual-t3057203
The flash was unsuccessfull. Now it wont power up at all and doesn`t charge.
The solution apparently is to unbrick the phone.
How to do that? I have One Sim version. If i have to provide more information i`ll do it.

i have similar problem and cant resolve it..... phone is dead, only when i connect it to pc its mtk preloader device.
tried flashing with sp flash tools, with few unmodded roms. it allways gives me error sec ro image not found.... any solution pls?

before minutes have tried again on Windows but in device manager the only thing i see is an autorefresh beween seconds and that`s that. Maybe just once i have seen identified device (the htc)
Now in Linux with fine adjustments of the cable(from side to notebook or from the phone) and now i see
