I used to use outlook, but it didn't fit my needs.
I eventually, and still use aquamail. Honestly... If you can take a moment to customize this, this will be, look however, and act however you wish. You can customize anything.
That said, idk how it is out of the box, but think it really well anyways. If you want one that doesn't let you customize, or very simple, I don't know which.
But I really do recommend aquamail.

I highly recommend Nine email app.
Works with anything, highly customizable and does not require storing or passing through third party servers.

What are you looking for? Can you describe your preference?
I was on a hunt for really long time after using various options like bluemail, mymail, etc. but finally settled with outlook for below reasons:
1. One has use
2. Quick events
3. Add-ons integration like Evernote, Wunderlist, more.
4. Amazing search results
5. Most important - Focused emails
There is lot more to add or remove but it totally depends on personal preference.
Hope this helps you find the best option you're looking for.
Cheers!

Hi. The best email app is Spark.

I guess its really down to preferences. After having used Aquamail for years I now use FairEmail and am very happy with it !

+1 for Spark

Hi,
And what do you suggest, if I want an open source one?
I've tried k9 and fair email but their UX is so basic...

Samsung email is actually pretty good

I use this and I'm very happy with it:

+1 for FairEmail, since it is open-source and I value my communication

Got the yahoo app for my yahoo mail, added Gmail and my work one, been decent so far

Well it's kinda expensive and shares your data to Facebook.

Nine

+1 for type app. I've used it for many, many years now and it still has all the benefits I need.
I've got 9 email adresses in use.

Another vote here for Nine email.
Been using it for many years, and any time I look at something else, they all fail in comparison.

I used to use Blue mail on my OP5. But tried it on my OP8Pro and don't like it. Spent last 20 months using Samsung email which has been pretty good.
I have tried Nine, Aqua, Blue and currently using Outlook. Will give spark a go. Thanks

[Q] Good Email app?

Hi
anyone could recommend good email app? im using gmail+yahoo apps and i think its over load to use 2 different email clients.. anyone tried any other good email app other than stock email app?
Cheers
Sam
I use maildroid which has a free version with ads, ads are very discrete and free version pretty much has full potential. Its one of the few not based on stock.
Has everything you need, exchange, pop, I map, good support, works well in ics.
Can't recommend enough, more stable than k9 mail (built on stock)

Push service in yahoo mail availble in two client only. B'coz yahoo don't support Idle IMAP, which require for pushing. Here is two
- Yahoo mail - This is only for yahoo, so i think won't suitable for you.
- Seven Mail - Support multi account as well exchange service. Having Widget support too.Now a days removed from marked, but search it, i remember i have post link somwhere on XDA. Let me know if you can't find it out.

[REQ] Modified email app with Exchange security disabled

Hi, I want to use our corporate email server (Exchange 2010) on Nexus 4, but I don't want it to apply all security policies (device password & encryption, etc.). Is there a modified email app available? I'm on stock 4.2.2 rooted and deodexed,

I saw it, but I was not sure if it will work because it's for Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Android 4.2.1
But I will try it.

Is this solution working? I have the same need, thanks
I'm sure most people are already aware, but you'll almost certainly get sacked if your employer finds out that you're using this. Is it really worth it?
I've been tempted several times, but I've settled with Touchdown. The interface is awful and it makes Windows 3.11 look modern, but importantly it doesn't insist on a lockscreen PIN, it doesn't insist on encrypting the device, and it doesn't insist on other annoying things like disabling the camera, etc. etc. It runs as an isolated standalone email client.

I wouldn't get sacked, not sure if anyone would be interested in my boring work emails.
Plus if the worst came to the worst, I would just change me exchange password :good:

Have you verified this with your HR department?
Policies are implemented for a reason, what you consider to be boring is not important.
Organisations take security and data protection seriously, it is not for an employee to determine what the firm considers important or not.
can some application (mostly downloaded from play store) steal mail, password, credit card number etc.. by using this application?? sorry bad english...

As an FYI, we would revoke your bring your own device rights if we caught you doing this. Too many android devices circumventing policies that we will likely be removing them from accepted use list. Sad, but true. Fortunately is IT guys keep ours . Pays to be tight with the Exchange Admin. Just be careful....you likely signed an "acceptable use" policy.

compare and differentiate

Hello guys I got a question that need to be answered.(sorry watched the movie the great gatsby, 2013 version, and talking like a sir) I have my amazing s5, along with my nexus 7. i try to keep both of them separate devices. but i was wondering. I see my friends are using google hangouts rather there stock messaging app. whats the difference between the two? and just to say, not really a big fan of google+. if that helps differentiate things. please and thank you.
I personally prefer Go SMS Pro

I use Chomp SMS, with white borders and the background set to 006779(Samsung Teal).
It looks just like stock. I like the stock look.
Just my 2 cents..........

well, google hangouts is basically messaging over Internet, kinda like whatsapp. It doeesn't use the cell network, it uses internet/data. It works with a google+ account, so you won't get around creating one.
With hangouts you can also send SMS, which isn't any different from the stock messaging app. So basically it's up to you if you want additional google+ features(which i don't like either) or not.

Exchange bypass for MM?

Anybody know a working exchange pin bypass method for marshmallow? Either a flashable zip or xposed module would work for me!
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Last I checked the bypass doesn't work in xposed for MM. it looks like cgomez updated his thread to include exchange 5.0 but again not sure if it will work with MM.
since going with Nine, i haven't looked back. plus the fingerprint scanner makes it super easy to access my work email and none of my notifications are blocked, which was the part i hated about using exchange.
Instead of bypassing Exchange - Why dont you try Nine Email app, it integrates well with Fingerprint, Native Calendar & also has no issues with MDM tools.

weird i just said that.
Mailwise has bypass pin option built in. Not sure if it works with MM, though, as I also switched to Nine.
Agree 100% with the Nine suggestions. Absolutely perfect, and worth every penny.

Using Nine for the last week or so, definitely my favorite exchange app...company is going to implement AirWatch next month so I emailed the dev and they sent me a full rundown of how to use Nine with MDM. Super responsive.

Speed and UI Tweaks?

I recently dumped my Pixel 3 in a lake (kayak+puppy=bad) and needed a new phone. I spent about a week with a OnePlus7 and it was a great week. It was BY FAR the fastest phone I've ever held in my hand; stock or modified. But ultimately, I liked the size of the Pixel 3 and ended up with a Galaxy S10e.
I'm hoping to accomplish two main things. Speed up the phone and make it more "snappy" and simplify the amount of crap that Samsung has embedded into the device. For example, the Bixby key, can I make it do something else? I just feel like Samsung has the phone trying to do a million things in the background that aren't even remotely helpful. And yes, I disabled/uninstalled as much of the bloatware as I could.
I looked for a quality ROM but it doesn't look like anything is available to be honest.
To make the Bixby button useful use this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jamworks.bxactions
As for the Bloatware, if you don't want to root or use a custom rom and keep the phone as it is, use this to disable ANYTHING you want and can't disable through normal ways And buy the license, you have my word you wont regret doing so

CCSWE is great I have used that for a while now well worth buying licence for it so much can be done with it ..
Question....can I use that to disable things like the stock apps for email, calendar, and browser without harming those functions?? I'm prevented from doing so natively and wasn't sure if Samsung just doesn't allow it or if those apps actually include services that things like Gmail, GCalendar, and Chrome use to run.
Also, I'm not against rooting and using TWRP to install a custom ROM. Lord knows I've done plenty of that in the past (although it's been a few years now). That being said, I didn't see any ROMS that appeared to be worth a damn or were well supported. If I missed a good one please let me know!
Apps can all be hidden and disabled from the settings. No need to install anything else for it. As for the browser, I've been using Samsung internet on my phones for years (even when I had a Huawei P20 Pro) and it's better than Chrome imo, especially with adblocker and Amazon assistant to help with pesky ads and automatically finding prices on Amazon for items I an browsing on sites. Disabling/ hiding Samsung's calendar or email apps won't interfere with any other ones installed like gmail etc.

ALL apps can be hidden yes, but not ALL apps can be disabled.
something that i did which you might have done already if you've seen literally any youtube video on the topic is turning up the animation speed in the developer options. It really does make the phone feel faster.

I feel like John Wick. Got out and now I'm in my basement digging up the tools of old coming back to the fold of ROMs and flashing. Damn it.
Nevermind....this doesn't support the US version SM-G97OU1. Really disappointing that no one has ROMS for the US variant.
