Hello guys, im having a battery issues, its draining too fast, and my phone just turn off when it reach 15%, i flashed custom rom, to see if that solve my problem, and i notice something really wierd, the system said is charged to 100% (battery percentage on system) but when i go to TWRP, it said it is only 75% charge, i recently change my battery so it is not a battery problem, so there is any way to re calibrate the battery to get full normal charge?
Sorry for my english.

Hey I've been noticing a weird problem with my nexus one. I usually charge it over night so by the morning it's at 100%. I rarely let my phone die completely as I'm in and out of the house all the time. so i charge it when im home. however i noticed that when it does die completely, my battery level will say 30% 40% charged and then it'll suddenly die while im using it. i downloaded a battery widgit as well to make sure it wasnt just the system's battery charge indicator. the widget will also say the batter is charged 30% 40% and then the phone will suddenly die. When i plug the phone in and turn it on, then the battery level will say 1%. this has happened to me on both the stock nexus one and now im using the modaco sense rom, and same thing. any insight on my mystery?
Try going into recovery and wiping the battery stats.

After wiping battery stats, charge the phone completely while it is off until the light turns green (this will take a few hours). This may solve the problem. I had battery issues too, but after doing this, it fixed it. Good Luck
so i tried both suggestions; wiped the battery stats in the recovery. and charged phone to full. tried it out for 3 days. and no results. my battery level indicator is still inaccurate. any suggestions?
So I was trying to calibrate my battery using these instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=980405&highlight=battery+life (I used the second set of instructions). However, when I tried to wipe my battery stats through recovery, I didn't see any scripts run to tell me the command had gone through. Is this normal. Thanks in advance
its me again
hey guys. Its me again. So an update on the situation. I drained my battery and believed that I had wiped battery stats but to my surprise when i was going to go recharge my phone I discovered that my battery was not fully drained as i previously thought. In the lock screen, I saw that I had 20 percent remaining. I am running faux123's nexus aosp rom version 1.2.7. Please help guys, i really don't know what to do
Dear android developers
2 days ago i had a problem with a rom, so i had to take out the battery. When i placed the battery back in the problem was solved. Unfortuanetly something happend afterwards and now my battery is really weak its been 8 hours since i last charged the phone now it is %16 Ive tried changing roms. I even downloaded cm7 which was pretty good on battery drain, now its really weak hope you guys can help me.
Thanks in advance
try draining the battery till the phone shuts down
Turn off the phone, try to fully charge, to green LED lights up, then go to ClockworkMod recovery, advanced, and select wipe battery stats.
Maybe this help u
greets from poland
clean the contacts on the battery, blow out the compartment with canned air. sounds like a bad connection to the battery.
fyi the led turns green at 90% charge.
and i need more data than its weak.
screen shots of usage after 8hrs would rock.
If phone are turned off, orange change to green at 100% of battery.
If android are running, green LED turns on at 95% battery (for me, AndroidRev 2.3.5 sense 3.0)

You might have messed up your battery with the pull somehow, if not just let it charge for a long time and see where you are at from there.
Drain the battery in normal use until it shuts off, then go to bootloader and drain the battery until you can't access the bootloader, then do a full charge of the battery.
Hy Guys,
I have a problem with my Defy's battery (not exactly with it.)
If I fully charge it, it "drains the battery" fast and when it says 1% reaming, it lasts about half of the battery time.
So, I tried to use battery calibrators, delete the batterystats file, but nothing. My battery is new and as I said IT LASTS A LONG TIME? BUT WITH BAD PERCENTAGES.
Please help me, because it's so damn annoying

I think best combo is full discharge + full%charge (and 1-2 hours more connected after 100%) and then reboot in recovery to clean battery stats.
The battery need autocalibrate with full charging cycles.
please search Battery Calibration app on Play. Use it after dropping battery stats.
I got this screenshot of my battery drain. There are random drops and I didn't use my phone at that time.
When i charge the phone while its off after few hours, its stucks on 92% *btw my battery health is good* i already resets my battery stats but i still encounter the same problem. How to fix it? :/
*sorry for bad english*
Have you let the battery drain to 0%, recently?
Every few months it might be good practice to do a full 100% -> 0% -> 100% cycle to get the battery information reading correctly.

This situation is not a phone or battery problem, I have tried many ways to get the conclusion, it is related to the ROM, Android 8 onwards, third party ROMs have this problem, charging to 100% and restarting the phone immediately after 92% or even 90%, suggest you choose the Android version carefully, RR-N-v5.8.5 is the most OK, hope it will help you!
