I bought a Oneplus 6T a year ago. With 1 month of use, I noticed that his dash charge stopped working (charge only at normal speed).
As I have another oneplus at home (OP5) I tested the OP5 charger to know if this was the problem, but it didn't work.
So I tested both chargers on OP5, and both work the dash charge, so the problem is not on the charger nor cable.
I also tried to clean the phone connectors, tried factory reset, but it didnt work...
As my country did not have brand support, they could not help me.
What I want to know, it is there's anything else I can try to do to solve my problem.
If I could figure out that the problem is in the charger coonnector flat, I would import a replacement charge flat. But I'm worried that the problem is not in this piece, how can I find out?
PS: I never dropped my device, and there was never any contact with water or any accident. I don't know why the problem happened
In attach, the scrren of the charge test of the factorymode (original cable and charger)
Thank You!

hello everyone!
after upgrading to bigstorage my jam discharges when plugged to the charger instead of charging!!!
it charges normally through sync cable.
any ideas???
thanks!
Upgrading to BigStorage has nothing to do with your battery problem as myself and so many other users have done so without having such experience. You have also proven that by saying that it charges properly with the sync cable. For sure there is a short circuit in your charger causing it to discharge the battery. Check for dirt inside the usb connector of your charger.
Well, I've BigStorage too, but I haven't got the same problem. Maybe you should check what zerimar said, and if the problem stands still, you should buy a new charge cable.
One question:
Before the BigStorage, the charger worked correctly?
thanks for answeeing!
yes, before upgrading everything worked normally.
when i plug the charger the orange light lihgts up as it should and the in the power screen it says 'çharging' , but it doesn't charge!
i've cleaned the cables, the battery and the sim card but still the same.
everything else works perfectly well.
Well, I guess the only thing that hopefully will help is to do a hard reset.
hey...i got the same problem. i even tried hardreset and the problem still there. there is nothing wrong with my charger since my charger works well with other magician.
i think the main problem is the magician unit itselves. i just dont have time to return it to the store since my life depends on it . well at least it still charges with sync cable.
ok now i'm mixed up.
i did a hard reset, downgrated to the previous original rom, but the problem is there.
it isn't the charger because when the backup battery reduses to 50% with charger it gets back to 100%
so my charger discharges my battery but charges the back up battery.
i did a lot of search, a few other people had similar problems but no solutions
found!
Try to fully discharge the battery in a natural way by leaving your unit on then charge again. Do not use your charger to discharge the battery. If my memory serves me right I think that's what some posters adviced.
I still believe that there is something wrong with your AC charger. If you have the possibility of borrowing a charger, or go to a shop who sells Magicians and ask if you could quickly make a test.
thanks a lot!
i'll try now and let you know!
discharging the battery did not work.
now i'll try the new ac adapter.
if it does not work then i'll just curry my laptop with me!!!
thanks for your help!
new ac adapter and everything works fine!\
thanks everyone!
Glad to be (and others) of help. Nice to know that everything is working fine and that you're happy.

Same problem
hey my treo charger broke and even if i bought a charger with the same V and mAmp specs it won't charge... anyone has the answer?
If you're sure the adapter is 1A then try soft-resetting the treo pro. Mine sometimes doesn't want to charge from generic chargers unless I reset.

I have the same issue. A few weeks ago it use to charge if I did a soft reset. My it will only charge from the car charger and not the dc usb charger. I have tried a few things that ppl have suggested but no luck. When it is plugged into the DC usb charger the red indicator light comes on but it will not charge even if I leave it charging like that fro 5 hours.
Appreciate any help or suggestions. Has anyone had this issue as well?

i know that if you cover up the 2 middle pins betwwen the battery and the phone that disconnects the phone part.. and the battery can charge.. but even this is a huge pain. i love my phone but grrrrr.
Treo Pro car charger
Like so many other people, I have a lot of problems sourcing a compatible car charger. (Had a Palm one and it was crap before it stopped working). The suggested idea of shorting out the two middle wires on the USB cable actually works OK but it's a fiddly job.
An easy answer is to buy this charger. I guarantee it works as both a mate and I bought one and have no problems. It's actually advertised as being for the HTC Wildfire. At £3.99 inc. postage, it's a bargain
Unfortunately this site will not let me post a link
Go to Amazon and search for a charger for the HTC Wildfire. It is the one supplied by Cellapod

Hi Guys,
Really need some help here. Just recently my note 4 has been failing to charge properly. When I plug my charger, it will charge for a few minutes with my official Samsung Charger but it will stop even with that. It will not charge at all connected to my laptop or my in car charger. This is what I have done so far..
1) Have bought a new battery (phone is 2 years old) New battery made no difference.
2) Have cleaned the hell out of the bottom connector on the phone (does nothing)
Not sure what else it can be. I love this phone and dont want to get rid but cant understand what is wrong.
So new battery, clean connectors, several re starts, taking out cleaning the sim and everything in the phone. What the hell else could it be??
Please help!!!

1.Open dialer and dial *#0228# and press (quick start)at the bottom and hit YES this will reset battery stats and clear and battery calibration issues then turn off your phone and charge full to 100% to recalibrate battery stats.
2.if the 1st method dosent works then Try factory reset
3.flash stock firmware in odin.

Thanks but I have three different batteries for my Note 4 and they all do this. I fear there is something wrong with the connector in my phone, although it doesn't explain why it will charge for longer sometimes than others, this is what annoys me, its totally random!!! last night I got a full charge out of my phone, today, tried charging and nothing!!!
This is genuine mystery, has my phone got a virus or something?? Why does it charge sometimes then not other times?
I don't want to give up my Note 4 I love the damn thing, any further help would be appreciated with virtual alcohol!
Might be interesting to get one of those Qi wireless charging receivers and a wireless charger to see if it charges correctly that way, bypassing the USB port.
EDIT: I use the Fonesalesman one and a Choetech 3-coil charger.

Hmmm.... that's a good idea, but I thought that the note 4 wasnt capable to charge wireless without an adaptor that that
plugs into the USB port.
I could be wrong though.

I use wireless charging every day, never used the USB port except occasionally to copy large files over and to activate Helium for backup. It does, of course, take longer to charge, but I have a couple of wireless chargers about and just set the phone on whenever I'm near one. Phone rarely drops below 50% charge except if I'm out all day.
You need one of these, once you put the back cover on you'll hardly know it's there - I have a UAG case on too, so it's basically invisible:
https://www.amazon.com/N4-SlimPWRcard-integrated-compatible-recommended/dp/B00OFKS66G
and a wireless charger like one of these:
https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Charger-CHOETECH-Charging-Samsung/dp/B017U9FVKW
Hope this helps.
I bought a orignal bulky wireless cover, then modifit it and removed the qi plate and put it in the phone and use original cover..more slim and works
Thow i suspect that its other hardware falire..my phone is freezing/restarting without any damn special reason, wireless charge dosent work sometimes, it restarts while wireless charging ...all behaviour having something to do with the Power! i have 3 batteries.
O i think its something to do with hardware, thow i will test flashing a stock room again just to be sure. if nothing above helps u can do the same then if problem still remains so you need to take it to a repair shop.

Very annoying problem and one that frustrates me because its random! I got it charging for 25 minutes tonight before it, all of a sudden for no reason stops at 44%....
However I today received an external charger that I bought of eBay for a mere £5.99 it's great. Although it means I have to keep swapping batteries, it's by far the most cost effective solution. Until I see a phone that is a significant leap above the Note 4 I refuse to upgrade which, quite frankly the S.7 isn't...
So I have been running AICP 13.0 for a couple weeks and love it. I woke up this morning and my phone didn't charge overnight despite being plugged in. It shows it is connected (the lighting bolt in the battery icon on the top right) but the led light doesnt display and it doesnt say charging. Other weird thing is everytime I plug the cord in the volumne starts adjusting itself up and down automatically and now sound is not working (microphone or speaker audio). Battery is now draining and I cant get it to charge. Any ideas why this could be? I have tried it with numerous cords and charging bricks, did a factory reset but still can't get it to work. I am now down to 20 percent battery life and am worried I have a hardware problem and am going to be without a phone for a couple days.
Anyone experience similar things or have ideas to try?
Also leeco doesnt have a us website anymore, so how do I contact them for support if needed?
Only idea a hardreset or clear coch?
Sent from my LEX720 using xda premium
Well, go back to any eUI vendor ROM (basically, stock) and see if it solves the issue. Preferably the same firmware version that your device was originally on. It could be a hardware issue or a software issue.
Sounds like a faulty charging port. You might need to replace yours. You can find replacement charging ports on Aliexpress, and a teardown here: http://www.myfixguide.com/manual/leeco-le-pro-3-teardown/ (the phone has the same internals as other LeEco phones, so you can consult various LeEco teardown videos too).
EDIT: now, I don't know if this will work for you, but freezing the phone for an hour might also get it to start charging again, but only do this as a last resort if it dies on you. And make sure you put it in a plastic bag first (obviously).
Ok I will locate the stock rom and flash it, I havent looked for it but it has to be on xda.
As far as replacing the charging port....I bought the phone in June so it should be under warranty correct? Does anyone know how we would get in touch with leeco support? Do we still have a warranty since they shut down operations in the US?
I still have 16 percent battery (I turned it off once I posted here so I could have juice to try ideas you guys would come up with, so hopefully I dont have to try the freezer trick.

Have you tried a different lead? I've had one leeco lead go on me, i almost chucked the charger until i realised it was the lead
Ymm, often the cable is broken.
Yes I have tried numerous cables and chargers. It has to be a hardware issue as it is dead now and won't charge at all is my thinking. When I plug a charging cord in it displays several quick red led blinks where it usually has the yellow led for charging but nothing else. When I tried it with my car charger this morning it got really hot very quickly.

Sadly, the stock charger cable is known to destroy the charge port. If you have always used the stock charger cable, then that is probably what caused the issue . I had to get my phone replaced for that reason about a year ago. If you do end up getting it fixed, get a certified USB-C cable and scrap the one that came with the phone. So sorry man...you shouldn't have to deal with this.
So I have a strange problem. A few days ago I discovered the phone was charging so slowly and on the lock screen a text appeared: "Charging slowly". It's equivalent to USB charging with a PC or notebook. However I use wall charger the same as before, from October 2017. Ok, I thought the charger has some failures, tried an other one. Same.. "Charging slowly" (I used this second charger before and it worked well..) Then I changed the cable. Same message (I also used this cable so 100% it's not defective).
I tried 3 roms. Refleashed the stock, RR and AEx. Tried different kernels: void, mint, franco. Nothing has changed.
May it be a hardware-related issue?
Thank you
Hi did you managed to find a fix?
I am having the same issue - lock screen a text appeared: "Charging slowly". Switched few cables still having same problem. I am convinced is not cable or charger issue.
Your wall charger is most likely the problem, even official can fail, you need a powerful aftermarket to test, it could be the cable but most likely the charger no providing enough power.
No A1 but android, see here: https://android.stackexchange.com/q...d-phone-charging-slowly-how-to-make-it-faster
I use either samsungs ep-ta20ewe or lg's mcs- h04er charging between 1600-2000 mA in accubattery pro.
I've switched few cables and 2A chargers. All getting the same "Charging slowly message"
The reason why most of you are charging so slow is because most likely, your phones are warm
As soon as the battery reaches 38°c, charging begins to slow down and will continue to be slow unless you cool the phone down
The battery temp is ok. 34°C
Solution: USB module replacement
I got back my A1 about two weeks ago. The service replaced the USB module at the bottom of the phone and now it works. I used a Tronsmart QC2 charger before. Since it's been repaired I use the stock charger. I was a bit curious and tried a few days ago with the Tronsmart. Same message: "charging slowly".
I think my Tronsmart charger is deffective and now I avoid using it..
Sum up, the repair shop diagnosed the problem. The phone became deffective but they are not sure why. The USB module replace turned it good again but with the Tronsmart charger it still doesn't work. I have to use the stock charger.
(also works with other chargers from my old Samsung phones). Interesting.
(they changed the USB module under warranty, but otherwise it costs in Hungary 10 000 HUF (~31 EUR, ~36 USD).
(refer to my thread opening post, before the USB replacement, the charging with the stock one was as slow as with other chargers, ~200mah, after replacement it's ~1800mah again)
I replaced the A1 USB C module and this fixed the problem

The same solution as in my case. Nice to hear it fixed this annoying issue.
I was running into the same problem, but after 2 months of replacement I got the message of charging slowly again. Been trying to change the adapter and cable but still not working, til I got the idea to use my mac's charger and it works. I don't know why, anyone's having this issue?

Install Ampere from the Play store and check the speed. It should be ~1400mha.
Having the same issue but i found a tricky solution
I am currently running dotOS and earlier I was on Pixel Experience...on the lock screen i used to get this message along with the current and the voltage readings (mA and V) so all I did was I tried to remove and put the cable back in the phone and everytime the values changed a bit....doing this 3-4 times gave me the reading around (1700-2000) mA and 3(.9-4.1)V and the message said charging...and sometimes it said charging rapidly....and if it didn't work out then I flipped the cable( like I was putting the USB in the wrong direction).....WORKS EVERY TIME
