Hi there,
a friend gave me his daughters phone for repair. I replaced the screen and the USB socket, home button pcb. Apart from that I did not touch the phone. It booted nicely and worked well. It was all stock.
A week later he came back and the phone would not boot anymore. In the upper left corner was the "secure boot" and "waranty bit set" notice. I assume that somebody else tampered with the phone and unsuccessfully tried to root it. His daugter denies.
I wanted to bring the phone bach to stock. Downloaded
Code:
G900FXXU1CRA2_G900FDBT1CRB1_G900FXXU1CQK3_HOME.tar.md5
from sammobile and flashed it to the phone.
Latest German firmeware DBT (unbranded)
Flashed it using ODIN V3.13.3
ODIN showed success.
However. The phone got stuck in Bootup on the Samsung splash screen. I left it there for more than 20 min just to make sure it realy was stuck and removed the battery.
I tried to reflash and ran into diferent errors. The latest is:
Code:

That´s what happen on my SM-G9900F a few weeks ago, what I did was using the TWRP and wipe all including the system and reinstalled again via ODIN the stock ROM.

Hi All, I think I have read everything and tried all methods and I have now run out of ideas. Hoping it's something simple i'm missing.
So my I9505 has been rooted for some time and I would now like to return to stock to give the phone to my mother-in-law.
I am able to access twrp custom recovery and stock recovery modes, I'm able to flash custom rome using twrp. However I don't seem to be able to flash a stock rom using the method below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265477&highlight=complete(write)+operation+failed
My phone is currently up and running in the following state:
Android Version: 4.4.2
BaseBand Version: I9505XXUFNAD
Kernel Version: 3.4.0.2091210 [email protected] 1
Build Number: Echoe_Illusion_KOT49H.I9505XXUGNG2
SE for Android Status: Enforcing SEPF_GT-I9509_4.4.2_0018
Secure boot status: Type: Samsung
Security software version: MDFF v1.0 Release 2
Every time I try the odin method above to install stock ROM i get to Complete Write Operation Failed.
I have tried different odin versions, different machines, different cables.
The two ROMs I have tried to flash are:
I9505XXUEMK9_I9505EVREMK1_I9505XXUEMK9_HOME.tar.md5
I9505XXUFNB9_I9505BTUFNE1_I9505XXUFNB9_HOME.tar.md5
Any ideas please
Hopefully something simple I'm doing wrong.
Might be the file u downloaded be corrupt
Try downloading again then wipe dalvik cache and flash.

Thanks, I have done this several times. Still nothing, very frustrating and time consuming
Post the complete Odin log.
Try only 4.4.2 roms and nothing below that.

It just looks like a standard Odin error.
- Make sure Kies is not running in the background
- Different cable

Hooray!!!! Well I tried another PC, and for some reason this time it has worked. Nothing different about the three machines. Same software, same ROMs, same process. Two wouldn't work, one did.
Thanks again for pushing me to try another machine.
Hi.
Hard bricked SM-G900F
I can boot into download mode using the de-brick image HERE
Phone shows:
reactivation lock: OFF
knox warranty void: 0x1 (4)
qualcomm secureboot: enable (CSB)
AP SWAEV: S1 T1, R1, A1, P1
SECURE DOWNLOAD: ENABLE
Using Odin3 v3.11 I flash:-
G900FXXS1CPLV_G900FOXA1CPJ6_G900FXXU1CPJ1_HOME
Flash goes through fine (see below), but after reboot nothing happens.
I cannot enter download mode without the de-brick sdcard, and recovery just sits there on the samsung booting recovery screen.
If i connect the phone to my windows pc I see "qhsusb_bulk" listed in the device manager.
Any help would be awesome.
Cheers

try a fresh download of the tar.md5 for your phone from sammobile.com/firmwares and flash it in Odin mode. Sounds like the bootloader is corrupt. So, once booted into the OS, youd have to manually move the bootloader from your debrick image to the internal SD with a terminal emulator
