Hello friends, well, I have a problem with my moto g5 plus, the IMEI is at 0 and the IMEI SV is also at 0, I already tried the Pixel experience 8.1.0 method and nothing, also other methods that I have seen on the internet but both IMEI follow in 0, any solution to the problem?
I would appreciate it

In this case you're most probably screwed if you don't have a backup of your own persist file.
All infos about this problem can be found here. @NZedPred who made that thread is the man to ask but do not have to much hope.

Hello.
my DROID Turbo Lost IMEI...
The cause was me, but did the following operation.
Code:
fastboot erase mdm1m9kefs1
fastboot erase mdm1m9kefs2
fastboot erase mdm1m9kefs3
fastboot erase mdm1m9kefsc
The reasons that performed this are as follows.
When I reset NV with past Motorola device, I deleted efs (modemst1/modemst2)
I did a thing similar to it....
After having carried it out, it was understood, but the content of the partition seems to be as follows.
mdm1m9kefs1 = modemst1
mdm1m9kefs2 = modemst2
mdm1m9kefs3 = fsg.mbn
mdm1m9kefsc = ?
by the above,,, I want mdm1m9kefs3(fsg.mbn) and mdm1m9kefsc
fsg.mbn is always in official motorola firmware, but does not into the thing of quark which I downloaded
Te methods to take out are as follows
※req rooted
Code:
adb shell
su
# dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p31 of=/sdcard/p31
# dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p32 of=/sdcard/p32
exit
adb pull /sdcard/p31
adb pull /sdcard/p32
thanks ;(
sorry.....
sorry.
It was not necessary........
radio.img was in Quark XT1254 firmware which I downloaded.
When I looked in radio.img in HEX Editor, it was bundled.
Because flash was possible with Bootloader Locked, it was repaired!!!!
I am sorry for my impatience.

You device is Moto Maxx XT1225?
The motorola model thinks that there is not fatal IMEI Null such as Galaxy Phone basically...
(It is a supposition by the experience)
Are you not repaired if you perform a flash of radio.img?
exp RETLA_XT1225_4.4.4_KXG21.50-9_cid12_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip etc...
probably... It cannot work even if flash radio.img of verizon model
and
delete these two partition from fastboot.
Code:
fastboot erase mdm1m9kefs1
fastboot erase mdm1m9kefs2

First you should have a custom recovery (e.g. TWRP) installed, if not, flash using fastboot. Then download and flash any ROM. You can find a lot of them easily in the A6000 sub forum here at XDA.

I think THIS ZIP would definitely contain the modemst1 and modemst2 files.
Flash them using :
Code:
fastboot flash modem modemst1.bin
fastboot flash modem modemst2.bin
And, should you need to change the IMEI later, FOLLOW THIS.
EFS_Lenovo_A6000.qcn

No, actually I didn't created the zip and I don't know what it contained. But, as the zip name suggests, "modem and stuff", I thought it would contain the modemst1/st2 .bin files; and didn't know what else it would contain. So, you just have to flash the modemst1/st2 files and not any others. But, in case, you lost your IMEI too, after flashing the files; I suggested that thread to help you out with it.

Last time I checked it was qcn.?!! And to restore the qcn backup one has to boot the device into Qualcomm Diagnostic Mode and then restore the qcn backup using QPST software. You need qualcomm serial port drivers installed on your pc for your device to get detected.

The modem partition could have been renamed with some other name, but it must be there. The files I provided were intended to be used on Lenonvo K3 Note and not K6 Power. So even if the files were flashed, they wouldn't have helped. Check Lenovo K6 Power sub forum there's this link to qcn file for Lenovo K6 Power which might come handy.
Good luck to both. I won't be able to help you with anything else now. GTG. I'm busy.

This new modem firmware is quite unstable, I advise you against using it. My solution to get working second SIM was to restore OOS 3.1 modem and format modemst1, modemst2 and persist partitions. Not until after formatting the partitions did it work again (CM14 keept rebooting/crashing).

Like I said, both SIM cards work again after flashing OOS 3.1 ROM (or firmware files manually) and then using the ordinary fastboot format command to format modemst1 and modemst2, then used fastboot flash persist persist.img with the persist partition dump found in this forum.

Had the same problem
Hi,
Just to give you all a quick background. I was in the same situation as you. Flashed H2OS didn't like the jumpy signal therefore wanted to go back to OOS.
First boot of OOS resulted in no connectivity (no wifi, no data, no Bluetooth). I followed the method above and deleted modemst1 and modemst2 and formatted modemst (all done thru fastboot)
Once I did that I was able to boot into OOS to get the signals. As petris said above, wiping and then booting into the software results in a fresh re-write of those modem partitions.
At this point I factory resetted the OOS software (just to be safe) and also installed the stock recovery (somehow my device wasn't booting into TWRP everytime I installed it).
After the factory reset I checked my IMEI's and saw my IMEI2 as 0. Luckily I don't use slot 2 so getting it to show IMEI wasn't a priority. However my camera wasn't working. Everytime I opened up the camera it would show a black screen for 30 seconds and then close with a message showing "Unknown error"
At this point I tried searching the persist.img file that someone suggested in this thread. I downloaded that from google drive and clean flashed it thru fastboot.
After a reboot I was able to get the camera working again.
So all in all for now everything works as expected. I am on the latest OOS 3.1.0 software and have no intentions of doing anything else until there is fix for IMEI2. I am regularly checking oneplus forums where people like me have esclated the issues. I think on the recognized developers Naman is working for a fix and seeing into this issue.
TLDR : IMEI2 shows 0

I made a huge mistake and flashed a keystore to my keymaster partition on my motorola e4 and now it won't boot anymore. Surprisingly fastboot let me flash it but won't let me erase. I know how to fix it but need a keymaster partition backup from an E4 the same as mine. I guess this isn't included in stock firmware flashed through fastboot. Can someone with a rooted TMobile E4 help me by running a command and posting the outputted .img here so I can fix my E4?
Command I need
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/keymaster of=/sdcard/keymaster.img
Keymasterbak for good measure?

I picked up a Moto E4 (perry) xt1768 for Lineage OS. I don't know if it was something I did (one of my earlier builds failed to boot) or was already like that, but I found out after I put in a SIM when Lineage 14.1 seemed to be otherwise running OK, that the phone says IMEI is 0, radio is off, and won't connect to network. fastboot getvars does show a reasonable value but no ROM I have tried can see it.
I searched for possible fixes, tried reflashing stock with and without SIM inserted etc, but so far nothing I tried has helped. Any new ideas?

Thanks for responding but I guess my multiple attempts to flash to stock already included those commands. Only thing is that the flash script has fsg before modemst1/2, but I presume the order should not matter.
