Has anyone on a pure stock h910 taken the latest update that has been pushed out today? I was wondering if anyone could check the ARB version.
*#546368#*910# on the dialer to enter hidden menu then select svc menu and then version info. Scroll to the bottom and you will see antirollback and a number listed. I just want to know what that number is. Thanks ahead of time!
Just updated. Antirollback number is 0.

Really appreciate taking the time to report back! Thanks again
@Expertize Would you mind grabbing the patched LG UP and dumping it? If so, I can send you full details on which partitions to dump.
Also, what version is it now?
Thanks,
-- Brian
@runningnak3d @toastyp I figured i'd be brave and did the update myself. I'm confirming @Expertize 's post. Software vers. H91010q. Build is still NRD90M, Kernel 3.18.31, Security patch level 10/1/2017, Android 7.0, ARB 0.
I've got my laptop here at work and can do the LG up of what you need, though the upload will have to be later tonight when I get home (my portable hotspot is super slow to be uploading gigs lol).
And I just sent a request to LG for the 10p kernel source code, now I have to get 10q -- UGH! /sarcasm
@crackness Thanks very much dude! I forget, do you need the list of what partitions to dump, or are you good?
-- Brian
@runningnak3d Yeah, let me know what partitions you want me to dump. Do you need me to do a wipe first?
Yea, you need to factory reset before dumping so you have a clean system partition.
Code:
aboot
abootbak
apdp
boot
cmnlib
cmnlib64
cmnlib64bak
cmnlibbak
devcfg
devcfgbak
factory
hyp
hypbak
keymaster
keymasterbak
laf
lafbak

msadp
persist
pmic
pmicbak
raw_resources
raw_resourcesbak
rct
recovery
recoverybak
rpm
rpmbak
sec

tz
tzbak
xbl
xbl2
xbl2bak
xblbak
Thanks again dude!

No problem. Will do tonight (around 11-12 Eastern).
Im using the h910 on another carrier so I cant receive updates. Can I use this dump to update my phone using LG Up?
@runningnak3d I've sent you a PM with a question.
You can ignore my PM, uninstalling then reinstalling fixed the issue.
Here's the zip of the 37 files you requested from my freshly factory reset 10q phone.
Let me know if you have any issues accessing.
Thanks.
@crackness Thanks very much!
@prismk You can use these to upgrade your firmware, but not with LG UP. You either have to flash them manually with dd, or wait for the TWRP flashable zip.

Can I flash with fastboot or dd all partitions except the recovery to not loosing TWRP?
If you are currently rooted, then yes, you can use fastboot to flash each file. The ones you don't want to flash in addition to recovery are:
Code:
aboot
abootbak
recovery
recoverybak
I only had him dump those in case someone wanted to return to stock.
Something you need to know ... the 10p and 10q firmware do not work with older boot(kernel) and system images. So if you flash this, you will have to use the kernel and system as well -- no *current* custom ROMs work with 10p or 10q. Also, since you have to use the stock kernel, you will have the static issue where you have to cover the prox sensor after every reboot. If none of that is a problem for you, flash away.
The good news is that 10q is still ARB 0, so if you don't like it, you can go back to 10m.
-- Brian
Ok! Thank you!
I just did a check, and mine says it's up to date, now, this may be because mine in unlocked on Cricket
I entered on fastboot mode and flashed the partitions. Worked like a charm
Is anyone planning to make a twrp flash able 10q? I'm on WETA, but since that's not being worked on anymore, I just assume go with the newer patch level and be rooted.
You're really not going to like the answer...it is..... 42
Just kidding, for real it says 0
Hope this is helpful.

My front camera has stopped working unless I tap (not bang but tap) on the phone near the camera. I need to flash back to stock, including recovery. Can I do so in fastboot? If so, mind posting a quick little "how you did it"?
I know the commands for fastboot, but just want to make sure I do this correctly. Don't want to go into the AT&T store with a completely bricked phone...
Also, do I need to flash all partitions, or can I just flash recovery and kernel partitions and boot into ROM since I'm already on stock? That's really all I need to change, that and unroot the phone...

Hi @lohanbarth,
Please change the title of the thread to "[STOCK][ALJETER]Firmware Moto G6 Play".
The reason is to be consistent with the other two threads for "G6" and "G6 Plus".
With this change will be more easy to distinguish for users of the "G6 family".
And thank you for provide theses firmwares! :good:
Sorry if this is a dumbass question but can I flash this on the boost/Sprint variant since it can be bootloader unlocked? And will it remove the bloatware downloading from boost/Sprint. Again sorry if it's a dumb question.

If you have a bricked boost mobile variant and need a jeter rom u can try this backup: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1pHiR6fssHOTJ-13-yttipMdB-DBNv_IM
Just unzip it and put it inside the TWRP folder on your phone and click Restore with twrp. It should flash. I tested it twice on my G6 Play (boost mobile variant) (jeter)
I actually got it flashed through twarp it said it was a success but when I reboot my phone it stays on the Motorola splash screen

bookmobile is cdma the one i have xt1922-9 is a gsm that probley why it wont go a passed the Motorola splash screen after flashing
I followed all the steps, but at the time of restart, I sent back to the boot manager, I had to install the previous firmware
Bty I found the right firmware for the Moto g6 play 1922-9 and it works flawless
if at the end of flashing it is returned to the bootloader...
1 clarification about the firmware opp27.91-87.. in the command lines, one of the system lines is missing:
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.4
If they add it to the .bat, or if they include it manually, it should start without problems
problem with sound
i flashed my xt1922-4 a few hours ago, but first problem that i found, was the calls, speaker no sound when make or receive calls, only handset and can't install magisk (boot loop after boot moto sequence)

I have the same model and I noticed that one of the lines in the bat file is wrong, the dspso.bin is actually adspso.bin (line 5), just edit it and it should work fine:
fastboot flash dsp adspso.bin
In addition, add the line that Wid_w mentions:
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.4
I attach my edited .bat file, I just 've flashed mi phone and everything seems to work without problems.
Thansk for guide, but i cant install Magisk on this OPP27.91-87, stay in M Logo. Any Help? (my poor english)
Hello friends, well, I have a problem with my moto g5 plus, the IMEI is at 0 and the IMEI SV is also at 0, I already tried the Pixel experience 8.1.0 method and nothing, also other methods that I have seen on the internet but both IMEI follow in 0, any solution to the problem?
I would appreciate it

In this case you're most probably screwed if you don't have a backup of your own persist file.
All infos about this problem can be found here. @NZedPred who made that thread is the man to ask but do not have to much hope.

**** man, i dont have backup of my efs & persist, well, i check this thread, thnks man.
I picked up a Moto E4 (perry) xt1768 for Lineage OS. I don't know if it was something I did (one of my earlier builds failed to boot) or was already like that, but I found out after I put in a SIM when Lineage 14.1 seemed to be otherwise running OK, that the phone says IMEI is 0, radio is off, and won't connect to network. fastboot getvars does show a reasonable value but no ROM I have tried can see it.
I searched for possible fixes, tried reflashing stock with and without SIM inserted etc, but so far nothing I tried has helped. Any new ideas?

Thanks for responding but I guess my multiple attempts to flash to stock already included those commands. Only thing is that the flash script has fsg before modemst1/2, but I presume the order should not matter.

Hi
have a look here
[allaboutflashing-dot c o m /motorola-e4-mediatek-xt1762-imei-repair-without-box-free-solution/]

It's my wife phone, issue(null imei) appear out of the blue...
I did try the above fastboot commands with files got from here: https://firmwarefile.co/flash-file-motorola-moto-e4-xt1768-firmware-download-stock-rom/
but without success...same null IMEI.
Do you have any ideas how to fix the Qualcomm E4 ? thanks
Hi I flashed the ATHENE_RETAIL_8.1.0_OPJ28.111-22_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml in my Moto G4 Amazon variant phone.

i've just tried, tried rescue but i got an error when trying to install flashboot flash error. Says Flash failed, try again. stuck at 68 Percent
Currently looking in to flashing this.
Did you all try to flash the rom as a single file in twrp or similar or did you try to flash individual files to individual partitions?
With fastboot like:
DO NOT USE FOR THIS PHONE, SHOWN AS EXAMPLE!
sudo fastboot flash bluetooth BTFM.bin
sudo fastboot flash dsp dspso.bin
sudo fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash dtbo dtbo.img
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.0
I used this kind of code for flashing new software to my G7
(Sudo is for using these commands in linux)
Restore
Just follow those steps, doesn't matter if you have the bootloader locked.
Important:
Next time, unlock the bootloader and install a custom recovery, twrp is the most common. After that flash the 8.1, it will reboot several times like if it has a problem but thats just the android config. Don't panic if you see it reach the homescreen and reboot, 3 or 4 times. It will do that untill you see the finishing progress bar prompt when it boots to homescreen
will give a try with this to see if it works.
edit tried, with 7.0 and the second command says preflash validation failed, with 8.1.0 the phone says okay all the commands but when i reboot the phone gets stuck on the blue m logo
