hi my Rahul Boora
few days ago i flashed havoc os 2.7 clean install after coming from stock
i formatted data and system and then flashed the rom with gapps and other necessary files like dcrypt.zip magisk and 3gp ram fix .
every thing went well and after few minutes my phone boooted normally without any problems
now i faces two problems with my phone
1. whenever i delete any video file from my phone it starts hanging and sound becomes jerky its feels like that suddenly clock speed of processer is reduced . i have to reboot my phone to solve this else it will keep on running but will hang and work slowly
the media which i deletes is on phone memory. after restart it gets fixed until i deletes any new video files it behave normally. well i donot uses any big and heavy apps no games and ram always free about 1gb( i have 3gb version ). and internal memory is free about 15 gb
2. after each reboot double tap to wake up option enabled automatically each time i have to disable it
some info- i uses a memory card (class 4 ) to store my important data i tried without it and problem is same
please can any body provide solution to these problems other than clean flash again
thanks
found solution myself
i was new to this rooting bussiness so did one thing wrong
after flashing the recovery and formatting the phone i flashed decrypt zip first
instead it should be flashed after rom and magisk zip
that was the problem phone was still with encryption and casuing problems

Just flashed [EU/TMOUS][CWR] imilka's HD Sense Series v2.0 1.84[D2EXT][K:rafpigna 1.7 OC] on my hd2 which is an EU one. Had partitioned my 16GB sd card using MiniTool Partition Wizard, making 2 partitions i.e. about 11GB FAT32 and almost 4GB EXT2, both primary. Just copied the zip file of the ROM on my sd card and ran it through AD Recovery (400mb setup one, which is recommended with this ROM). Everything went smooth but after the installation, even if i run the browser i get the message: Storage Full..you dont have enough free space remaining in your phone's storage, whereas in Settings, SD&phone storage my Internal phone storage shows 3.52GB available. I also cannot install any new apps due to this problem.
Any help would be much appreciated.
its suggested not to use larger than 2gb ext partition
Had a same problem with my favorite Hyperdroid. After flashing i could not even receive any sms becaus they were rejected because of no space. And i did not have anything weired installed... I solved it by completly formatting again and tnen the whole prodcedure again.. Sorry but that was the only way that helped me;-) But actually i could not solve the prob itselve...
Thanks for your reply. Yes, mine is the same problem, can't even receive emails or browse the internet, the message keeps showing up. I'm ready to repeat the whole process by formmatting my sd card, but I have some simple questions (might sound a little naive as i'm new to flashing android):
1- Do I need to make only 2 partitions? Fat32 and an ext partitions?
2- Do I need to keep any other files on any of these partitions except the ROM before I start flashing through Recovery?
3- Do you also suggest, like Richy99 does, to keep the ext up to 2GB only?
just discovered answers to the above questions. Repeated the whole precess, repartitioned my sd card (this time 2gb ext), and finally got rid of that storage full message. There's a lag though...seems to be slow on my hd2. Moreover, I cant uninstall the apps that came with this. The uninstall button remains grey.

a) Use 1GB ext, NOT 2GB.
b) Lag is beacuse its a DHD rom, you need to wait for all the apps to sync or wait for OS to settle down. Let everything sync and then do a few reboots and wait some hours. Once everything has settled lag should be gone.
c) If you want to remove stuff use "System App Remover" from market.
d) Read your roms instructions properly.
Hello,
sorry it there is already thread, in that case, pls give me the links..
SO, after using Android on HD2 for one month WITHOUT any problems.. today i got:
activity phone in process com.android.phone is not respondind
Also, after restart, on first call i got robot voice... second call i cant hear anything..
SO, WTF happened?
I did not install any aps, or uninstal... i just dont get it!
Thnx
Have you tried reinstalling the Rom to see if the problem is still there?
yes.. i deleted old android folder, and instaled it again, same thing.. my win mob 6.5 works fine..
Dont know what could happened..
When the message comes up, did you ever press wait? This happened me once and I just pressed wait and after about 1 - 2 minutes it comes on and works fine for the rest of the time I use it. If that doesn't help, then I guess you just have to install a new build.
ok, will try.
thnx
And it happened... also couple days ago it also hapened, but afret half hour everything was ok...
Every time (first, last, and now third) i:
- restarted android
- restarted launcher
- make couple calls with win mobile (aok there...)
- boot to win, make call, restart again boot win.. unmount sd, restart with sd in, and then booted android again
- pressed wait wher error popout
- turned sync and apn off
And this time, cant solve the problem....
Pls, wtf?! And I can't find topic here.....

SD builds for me have always ran great for some amount of time, then start messing up out of nowhere. What happens, as I understand it, is that blocks of memory in your sd card become corrupted after awhile of running Android from the card.
Best thing you can do to cope with this set of circumstances is:
1. Back up the contents of your sd card to your comp, and do a full format on the card before installing an SD build. This will reduce the frequency of corruption problems.
2. Once you get your build set up how you like it, back up your entire Android folder onto your comp. Do this once a week or so, and you can delete the old folders after each new backup to conserve space. Then if you encounter sd/data corruption again, you can backup and format your card, and drop your content and backed up Android folder back on it and be up and running again with minimal loss.
3. Forget Windows Mobile and sd builds and go NAND. It's more stable in the long term, and uses less battery because it isn't constantly reading from and writing to the sd card. Plus NAND is the manly thing to do, sd builds are for girlymen

The problem occured during using Android, I haven't tested it on WinMo yet.
I found similar post on forums, though it contained only a few posts.
So the problem is as follows:
When I run any demanding app, such as games (sometimes even contacts apps suffices) my phone does 2 things: either freezes or reboots (and then- freezes usually on lock screen, right after boot, most of times during "Preparing SD card" phase).
It is getting annoying, because now I can't use almost any power demanding app.
The problem started (firstly it occured rather small and not very often case) somewhere between switching from Mdeejay Rom after, You know, big brawl on forums, to Typhoon. And then I used cpu voltages script provided by Typhoon, even without overclocking device (only for battery saving). Yesterday I wiped every single part of data on the phone (formatting all disks, installing Clockwork again, not touching MAGLDR and HSPL and Radio though). Problem still occurs...
Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help
When you said you formatted, How do you do it exactly?
To properly do a clean install you need to....
Device:
Task29 HD2
Install MAGLDR
Install Partition
Card:
Get Panasonic SDFormatter
Full format>Overwrite
Size Adjustment ON
It sounds like either your device is corrupt or your card, Do a clean install and try a different rom if that doesnt solve it try another card, If that doesnt solve it get a new HD2.
Do you think that warranty covers such problem? And is there any possiility my provider will find out I used Andro after restoring WinMo, 'cause it voids my warranty.
My nook color stays not much longer than 1min after loading all the apps & just after that it reboots. I've tried installing a fresh rom couple of times & wiping each & everything but just after installing all the apps again, it reboots. Have tried both by installing it manually & restoring through titanium backup as well, but same result. It works fine only when I remove my micro sd. I know that some apps doesn't works when installing in micro sd & that's why I've installed all my apps in internal memory. I never faced that issue when I was using Phiremod v6.3 build. Recently after moving into the latest nightly build, this issue occurred. Please tell me how can I resolve this issue? I've been trying to find the solution from so many days but couldn't able to find. Thanks
You could use ROM Manager to restore the last ROM if you did a backup or just reinstall it. I am a little confused about what you mean by loading all the apps. Apps are generally loaded as you use them, not at boot up. When you first boot up you can usually see the SD card icon at the bottom of the screen before it gets mounted. It is possible the card got corrupted. If you don't have anything on it but app backups and it works fine when the card is out you could try reformatting the card on your PC or with a camera that uses micro SDHC cards.
You also might have a misbehaving app loading on startup.
When I first boot the system, the sd card icon shows at the bottom of the screen & disappears after loading all the games from it. After that I can see all my apps & games in app drawer but after a min, it gets reboot. I only have games in sd card, not a single app & neither any app in my internal memory which loads at startup.
Well if the nook boots and runs just fine without the SD-card inserted, then we can be pretty certain that something on the card is messed up. Lot's of possibilities: Corrupted .apk file, partially corrupted file structure on the SD-card itself, Hell it could also be auto-update panicking because it's trying to update an app that has yet to load off the SD-card.
First thing I would try is formatting the SD-card within CM7.
Also try turning off auto-update
If that fails, connect the SD-card to your computer and scan it with windows to check for any file table corruption.
If that fails, it's hard times ahead for you. You'll have to go through the apps one-by-one to see which one is being the little bastard.
Good luck.
Thanx for The help. But all I have on my SD card is just game. Before installing anything on my internal memory, I restored my games backup 1st to my SD card through titanium backup. It was then working absolutely fine. After that I installed apps manually just to see which app is causung error. But all were installed without any problem, used for a while then I manually reboot. Since then I am getting this issue.
I've just come across an issue but I'm unsure if it's something I've done, my phone, a Rom or Dual booting!!
My Primary appears fine but my Dual and Multi1 have lost contact with the internal SDCard but external is fine.
On my Mac when using Android File Transfer the same happens.
Any ideas as to what has happened? I can boot into the 2 other Roms fine but get warnings about insufficient storage available. It's all worked fine for ages and all of a sudden this happened. I've deleted Apps and even one of the Roms just to see if it is just the space is all used but I'm sure it's a mount or link issue maybe?
I've asked in the relevant Dual Boot thread but thought I'd ask here too just in case it's a problem that crops up when booting a single Rom too

Reinstalled the least used Rom in Multi1 after wiping everything and it is now working again. 2nd Rom in Dual is my usual Rom and has stuff that I can't seem to save easily unless I do a full Nandroid backup but then there is a chance I will reintroduce the problem when I restore
Not dual rom

Your problem is not due to dual rom because i habe same problem. I have one rom but my internal SD Card seems full but when i check the files min 4 GB suppose to be free.
Did you solve this problem? Could you tell me if you find the solutitons?
