Just flashed [EU/TMOUS][CWR] imilka's HD Sense Series v2.0 1.84[D2EXT][K:rafpigna 1.7 OC] on my hd2 which is an EU one. Had partitioned my 16GB sd card using MiniTool Partition Wizard, making 2 partitions i.e. about 11GB FAT32 and almost 4GB EXT2, both primary. Just copied the zip file of the ROM on my sd card and ran it through AD Recovery (400mb setup one, which is recommended with this ROM). Everything went smooth but after the installation, even if i run the browser i get the message: Storage Full..you dont have enough free space remaining in your phone's storage, whereas in Settings, SD&phone storage my Internal phone storage shows 3.52GB available. I also cannot install any new apps due to this problem.
Any help would be much appreciated.
its suggested not to use larger than 2gb ext partition
Had a same problem with my favorite Hyperdroid. After flashing i could not even receive any sms becaus they were rejected because of no space. And i did not have anything weired installed... I solved it by completly formatting again and tnen the whole prodcedure again.. Sorry but that was the only way that helped me;-) But actually i could not solve the prob itselve...
Thanks for your reply. Yes, mine is the same problem, can't even receive emails or browse the internet, the message keeps showing up. I'm ready to repeat the whole process by formmatting my sd card, but I have some simple questions (might sound a little naive as i'm new to flashing android):
1- Do I need to make only 2 partitions? Fat32 and an ext partitions?
2- Do I need to keep any other files on any of these partitions except the ROM before I start flashing through Recovery?
3- Do you also suggest, like Richy99 does, to keep the ext up to 2GB only?
just discovered answers to the above questions. Repeated the whole precess, repartitioned my sd card (this time 2gb ext), and finally got rid of that storage full message. There's a lag though...seems to be slow on my hd2. Moreover, I cant uninstall the apps that came with this. The uninstall button remains grey.

a) Use 1GB ext, NOT 2GB.
b) Lag is beacuse its a DHD rom, you need to wait for all the apps to sync or wait for OS to settle down. Let everything sync and then do a few reboots and wait some hours. Once everything has settled lag should be gone.
c) If you want to remove stuff use "System App Remover" from market.
d) Read your roms instructions properly.

Sounded weird, can agree with that. Are you using apps2sd? Try do a backup of your sd-card, format it, wipe and install ROM. Dont restore a backup or something.
Now copy ur files back to the sd-card and see if it makes any difference
Yeah, it sounds like your ext2 (or ext3/ext4) partition for apps2sd is corrupt. It may even be an issue with your SD card. SD cards are not optimized for ext2/3/4 partitions, and as I learned through running android on my Vogue, it's rare, but your SD card can become permanently damaged by using this filesystem on it.
If formatting your SD card like sinnadyr suggested doesn't work, I would re-partition the entire card, making your FAT32 partition smaller by maybe 512MB and have everything else the same size. This will obviously result in 512MB less usable space on the card, but at that point I don't think you'd have another option anyway.
(I may be off about the size of 512MB... I'm tired and drunk and can't be bothered to look up the actual size of the swap/ext2 partitions.)
If all else fails, try a new SD card.
Your Hero can be saved
Ok... I've had this... and this is how I solved it:
-save what you have to from sd to pc
-format sd
-partition from scratch
-reboot
-put what you saved previously back on
-done
sounds easy, but it actually took me AGES in between finding out and doing it.
In my case it was due to a combination of using a program to move the cache to SD AND mounting the SD card WHILE some app was doing something (APP2SD was enabled). All I know is I never used the cache to SD program again and 3.1 is now running smooth on my hero.
Good luck
Ciao
p.s. If the steps above do not seem to work just do all the Wipes, load another rom, play with it for 2 mins, then re-do all the wipes and start off. I know I'm being a bit confusing but trust me, problem will be solved eventually. Just make sure u have plenty of time when u start the whole process
V.
There's a guide somewhere how to repartition your SD card through ADB, this is what I did when the same thing happened to me and the partitions were corrupted.
i flashed WP7 today, everything went smoothly, and it seems nice and fast but it keeps popping up a message sayng that i don't have enough storage space and that i should delete some music/photos. obviously there's not much to delete so i assume that I'm either doing something wrong or the current build that's available out there can't access all the storage it should have been able to..
any ideas?
Connect your phone and start zune. In setting of zune, click phone, and in a sub setting there will be one called reserved space. Go on it, and you'll see a bar where you can increase or decrease space on your phone for apps and stuff.
great. will try this. thanks!
I have the same issue - Zune tells me that 83MB of memory is available, and 0MB is free. I have a 2GB card in the phone, so I suspect it's not picking it up. I hadn't formatted the card or anything, so perhaps I missed a step towards making it work..?
I figured it out - the first time I'd booted into WP7, I took the SD card out since it seemed to cause MAGLDR to attempt to boot into an old Android port. It seems WP7 will only use an SD card if it was present on the first boot. Reinstalling WP7 and keeping the SD card in for the first boot seemed to do the trick!
I don't know if there is an easier way to tell WP7 to detect an SD card, but this worked for me. Of course, it does involve resetting everything all over again, but at least the activation code works the second time too!

Have you format your microSd before flashing?
point to setting->About
Reset Your phone and waiting phone restart.
Connect to Zune and check your storage spaces.
I did it and have more than 1GB free spaces with 2GB microsd card.
Hope this help!
I tried it still not workiing I took out the SD cards and formatted it still its not working.
Removed
reset
Had the same problem... , solved!
Went to settings - about - reset phone.
Ok, you need setup everything again, but I now have far more than 3gb on a 4gb sd-card.
Hope this will help you!

I had the problem of the phone running out of storage space. (without using an sd card)
It is a very simple and quick fix.
All you need to do is:
1. Sync with Zune
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Reserved Space
4. By default its set to 0% - increase it to at least 50%.
(This reserved space is for your emails, pictures, music, texts etc i believe)
5. Restart your phone.
You can check the amount of space on your phone by going to
On your phone click on
1. Settings
2. About
I hope this helps.
You will then have available storage.

I tried it like 2 times still it didnt work
in setting/about: it says..520 mb available (on 1gb card)...but zune doesnot see this even after changing the reserve space setting
tried everything still my avaliable space showing up is around 175 mb on a 2gb card . Even when I take out the card it showing the same amount of space I am pretty sure my card is working and I even increased the reserve space on the zune software.
any news on this? same problem here . I've tried both my 16GB SDHC that came with the phone and my 2GB. neither are recognized by the phone. I've tried allocating more reserve space but to no avail. This is what Im seeing after doing the registry modifications (with or without an SD card inserted on the phone.)
thank you very much... i got it finally......
i formatted my 8gb micro sd card on my comp before flashing.
then i flashed wp7 while i kept the sd card inside the phone.
it didnt format my sd card during flashing. i still have 6.3gb space when i check the space in wp7
ok, it was reported that for zune to work, you need atleast a 4gigs space...will try with bigger card
I'm sorry if this has been asked already but I'm really new to all of this, I recently put the cyanogens rom on my HD2 and everything works fine but for some reason I can't download apps on the marketplace because it says Insufficient Space on device but I have a 16gig sd and 555mb still left on my internal?
go to your apps from the settings and move them (start with the largest) one by one to the sd card.

I've done that but for some reason it still says I don't have enough space is there anyway to make the sd the default place where marketplace downloads go to?
search the market for app2sd, you'll be notified each time you can move a new installed app to sd
Same issue
Im having the same issue. My phone says that i have used 19mb and i have 768mb free on the internal storage. But when i try to install something i get an out of space error. This is the first time that ive had this issue. ive gone as far as wiping everything with task 29 and starting over with a new rom. same issue. Any ideas?
Try to install a rom with ext support and create ext 2 partition with cwm recovery in magldr , it will work i think.
That could help:
1. Reboot into CWM Recovery
2. Advanced\Fix Permissions
3. Reboot
I am having a lot of trouble trying to partition my SD card so my HTC HD2 has more internal storage for this rom. I succeeded in partitioning it. My Sd card has 'lost' 1 GB.
I used this guide:
Guide On How To Create EXT Partition:
Power on your HD2 and don’t let go of the power button.
DFT MAGLDR Bootloader will then be loaded.
Use volume down button to scroll down to 8th option (8. AD Recovery). And press call button to select it.
ClockworkMod Recovery will then be loaded.
Use volume down button to scroll down to “advanced” and press call button to select it.
Scroll to “Partition SD Card” and press call button to select it.
Then, choose EXT Size = 1024M, then Swap Size = 0M (This ext partition will be used by App2SD to extend your phone internal memory.)
After the process is completed, press back button to return to ClockworkMod main menu.
Select “reboot system now“.

I tried it a second time, but now my 16GB SD card is down to 13GB and the partitions are invisible on my PC and on my phone. My SD card has now lost '2GB'.
I think I am missing some information to get this to work.
Normally I understand everything I read on XDA, but now I am stumped.
Please help me, this is the first time I really don't understand what I have done and what has gone wrong
Setup of choice = EU HTC HD2, Maldr1.13, CWM150, HyperDroid-CM7-Observant-Opossum -v5.9.0-cLK-magldr-signed.zip
Use Easus Partition manager on order to see all of your partitions then just resize as necesaary
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA
The partitions are as they are supposed too. One 15GB, one 1 GB.
And now? How does my phone recognize the App2SD Partition?
You want to know how your phone recognizes the ext partitions? well, no offense but that is none of your business. (jk )
If you want to know how it actually works, that is another long story.
As mentioned earlier by Nigel, Use EaseUs Partition Manager to see/edit the partitions.
And your sd card didn't lose 1GB, that 1GB simply became a partition in a format that is not visible to Windows. But it is there !
Edit:
As an elaboration to my previous post:
You don't need to know how to make it work, Hyperdroid uses an a2sd script (by default) so as soon as it detects one during installation it will be used.
All what you have to do is make the partition, and let the ROM do its job.
So in short; It's already working, but I am to stupid to see it?
I have reflashed, so it should be working. Awesome!
Those cookers keep blowin' my mind with their techie-godlike-powers!
I'm using App2SD now with this rom and the rom is not as stable as it used to be. Did I do something wrong or should I reflash?
"not as stable as it used to be" ?
I've been with HyperDroid since the sd versions. Never had any problems with a2sd, the ROM is always stable, fast & smooth.
Oh I think I might know why, did you actually check the size of your SD card before partitioning? A 16GB SD card has an actual capacity of 14.8GB which would explain why it looks like 13GB is left. Either that, or the one I was sold is a ripoff
EDIT: just saw marvlesz's post and he uses bigger words so he's probably right

bigger words? lolwut? you mean Like this?
No, you are correct. Most storage devices show less than the advertised capacity, you weren't sold a ripoff.
Usually it's like this :
4GB will show 3.73
8GB will show 7.45
16GB will show 14.9
32GB will show 29.8
even my 500GB HDD shows only 465
And so on ...
And I wasn't talking about the lost 1GB from 16 to 15, but from 15 to 14 (13.8) .
Because I thought he had already knew about the actual size of his sd.
Be lit, here : http://compreviews.about.com/od/storage/a/ActualHDSizes.htm
Lol I realise now that I knew pretty much all of that already, but I'm on holiday and my brain is taking a while to kick in The Vatican is mindblowing

I forgot to mention that everything is al right. I am very pleased with Hyperdriod App2SD implementation.
It was the first time I tried this, so of course there would be some start-up issues. After trying a few times, I am happy as ever!
Problem with SD Card Capacity
Maybe it has been mentioned before.
But if you feel uncomfortable with the Formatted capacity of your SD card,
download SDFormatter 3.1 (free)
(I cannot insert a link (yet) so you have to google it)
BACKUP YOUR DATA FIRST, YOUR SDCARD WILL BE WIPED CLEAN!
Then insert your SDCard in your PC using a sleeve (comes free with most micro SD cards)
And choose in SDFormatter: QUICK FORMAT, SIZE ADJUSTMENT ON
This should restore your SD Card to its full capacity (and format)
Then re-insert the Card in your phone and try the Partion SD Card again.
Worked fine for my 2 HD2's
Hi all, so to start with, as the title says im constantly running out of space on the FN model 2015, so ive dived into the forum looking for help. First thing i tried was the sd card hack to combine my 64gb sdcard with the 8gb internal. Harra! it worked, but then i still run outa space as it dosen't seam to to use the sdcard space as i had hoped. It's like it just copys some of the data from the apps to the SD card like normal but without having to go into the each app and selecting external sdcard. Kinda thought no probs I'll download a custom rom with no samsung apps and with a min gapp giving me as much storage space i could get. I can't see one, starting to think there isnt one. So my question is, is it hard for me to take my backup of my stock rom and strip what I can out bearing in mind I'm a bit of a noob and have to follow instructions from the clever ROM makers? not to bothered about increasing the speed and looks just the space. Would be able nice to update them without having to delete a few and re-install the ones I deleted. Any advice on what coarse to take would be great. Maybe theres a ROM I've mist I could use and give thanks for?
Cheers

Hi,
Instead of using Adoptable Storage, make 2 partitions on your SD, 1 FAT32 for photos, music, documents and another EXT4 for apps data. Use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.co.pricealert.apps2sd , i tested it.
You can make 2 partitions using PC or with TWRP Recovery.

Thanks for your reply! I went down the apps2SD route in the end. Kinda mest it up a bit but have free'd up nearly 1gb of space so thanks, that's more than enough! %) I ended up partitioning the SDcard and linking all the apps I'm not interested in, excel,Skype,Samsung etc. Anyway what i didn't realise was that i had mest the other part of the partition up. Ended up re-formatting the SDcard in recovery back to normal and those apps I didn't want 90% of the data of those have now been wiped %)
