Bobclockd3 - Java for Android App Development

I wondered if any of you knowledgeable people would be able update the open source Bobclockd3?
I've tried everything I can think of to find the original dev. He's called Richard Martin but other than that he's a ghost.
There's an issue with suspending the app when the screen is off. It could be a simple fix, the app is 8 years old and like I said it's open source.
https://github.com/bobthekingofegypt/BobClockD3
If you're bored or fancy having a quick look to see if something obvious jumps out please let me know, thanks!
edit: apparently it was member rsmartin, on this site who made it. I've messaged even though he's inactive, just in case.

OmapScaler Source Code

Hi all,
Apologies for my continued lack of time to develop OmapScaler, I know it was buggy and inefficient but unfortunately I never had time to do anything about it.
As a result of this, and also getting a Hermes which has reduced the emphasis on overclocking for me, I am releasing the source code for you to use, all I ask is that you don't laugh at my atrocious coding and that you leave a little note of acknowledgement to me in any app you develop from it.
The original thread is here: Click. It's worth reading because it goes from the conception of the program and everyone's comments on what they would like in it.
The code to both OmapScaler and OmapScalerLite and the program where I left off are attached below.
Hope this is of some use to someone.

Idea on fixing the forum posting issue

I have been watching things here start to get a little crazy (atleast in the Hermes thread). I don't have a magic answer, I wish i did. I have been thinking about his for the last three days. Then with JJ, the developer of black for the Hermes, deciding to take his rom to another site, yet to be determined. I started to think about how the ROMs are being supported.
I seems that we need to look support these roms like any software application I've been part of developing in the past. I think we need to look at adding a bug track system. Rather than use the forum for bugs and new releases what do you guys think about using a bug track system for this. This could be used for all kinds of applications.
Lets talk about this and see if the Admins and Mod think that this cold be something that is possible to get integrated into the xda site.

already tried... tried to implement a bug-zilla like site... noobs couldnt figure out and didnt bother using...
So we just give up. Sorry I just not ready to give up like that. We have to learn to educate these users. I agree with a thread I saw under the hermes about making a rule about posts like "DLing now".
never said anything about giving up... y dont you have a chat to the Administrator Peter Poleman...

Deepfish or Picsel? why aren't they released yet?

why cant they release these for the wm6 platform yet? its been over 6 monyhs and i would love to be able to view the browser like i want
ive used picsel on my mogul (wasnt fond of it so i went back to opera)
does opera allow full page viewing then zooming in? whered you get picsel? i cant find it
Here! Its under reply #27, i mean 28
Picsel isn't released as a commercial app - it's an app they allow OEMs to build into a rom. However, we have got it to work on most phones. Works fine on WM5 and WM6 for me.

Another example of "seek and you shall find".
Does it bother anyone else that this individual has made so many uninformed posts (that aren't even Titan-related) in the last couple of days here?

Right. YOUR mogul, the way YOU want it.
While abusing the forum is effective for you, it also rather selfish to be polluting it for everyone else.
Sorry for the snyde comments, but if everyone treated this the way you do, this forum wouldn't survive anymore.

I couldn't agree more. In case the OP doesn't understand why we are coming down on him/her, let's reiterate the original question:

A. What makes you think any of us works for Microsoft or Picsel?
B. "Why aren't they released yet?"
Good question! Why don't you contribute by emailing the companies yourself and letting us know the answer. Oh... you probably wanted one of us to do it?
C. "why cant they release these for the wm6 platform yet?"
Another Good question! Suppose the only person who can answer that is the Product Manager for those applications. He probably won't answer though... because he's too busy trying to get them released!
D. "its been over 6 monyhs and i would love to be able to view the browser like i want"
We've all talked it over and decided this is a serious issue. So either we can freeze the Internet until things are like you want... or you can buy an iPhone.
Hope that helps!
boo boo needs a lot of hand holding, that is all. maybe he or she is very young. I too, have had some issues with Picsel, but I kept digging and digging, and eventually came across it, and that actually felt pretty rewarding. boo boo just wants us to do all the work for him/her, and he or she can reap all the benefits. look a little further, and you can pretty much find anything. your original post does make you look and feel a bit immature, like a whiny little baby, no offense. but I guess you got what you wanted. Now if you can contact Microsoft on the forum's behalf, that'd be great!
Also, some folks haven't done their research or are ignoring a very significant fact: The version of Picsel that is floating around the Internet was never meant to be released to run on just any phone out there. It was lifted from a Samsung ROM. In fact, Picsel lawyers have been contacting websites that have been hosting these files to take them down immediately.
So if the app doesn't run optimally on your particular device, not much you can do about it until Picsel decides to release it to the general public at large or strikes a deal with another OEM.
you guys need to get laid more often or stop beating your wives..you guys sound like a bunch of sissys
I agree, you guys are a bunch of asses, you couldnt simply answer the guys question? you had to be douches about it? the forum is here to help fellow mogul users, not insult them. if you have a problem with multiple threads then simply point the user to a thread that is already open and request that this thread be deleted.

Samsung Instinct Call Answer

I can't find video of it, but if anyone has played with the Samsung Instinct, when an incoming call comes in, you slide up to answer, down to deny. It's pretty nice looking.
Just wondering if there is something like this, or if someone could develop a copy of it. I know there is Slide 2 Answer on S2U2, but it's not very similar and (to my knowledge) you have to have S2U activated to use this, or else it will just have buttons.
I know I'm not supposed to post a new thread if I'm not contributing, but I've seen people get away with it and I searched everywhere for this. My apologies in advance.
That is a good solution indeed. It would solve the problem of accidentally accepting calls while pulling the phone out of your pocket. It's very hard to implement on the Diamond though, because you can't mess with the phone app much.
Found the video...
It's at 5:30 of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhzpTS7CpfU
it looks like a nice feature and with some skins could look pretty nice and cleaned up given all the talent on xda
it would be interesting to see something like this develop probably as an add on to s2u2 like the s2u2-vc
Yes, thanks for the agreement.
next version of Sunscape could include this way of answer or deny a call.
That'd be sweet. I hope someone takes interest in this idea.
Gotta co-sign that. If that ever got implemented into s2u2, it'd be a wrap. Best app ever.
Agreed! Even without s2u2.
bump? z
Last bump, doesn't anyone else like this?
It's definitely a great idea. Just have to wait until one of the great developers here want to take on the task.

nonFlamer Honeycomb download?

Is there anywhere to download oldmacnut's Honeycomb build if we dont plan on being an annoying little troll? I luckily missed all the ridiculous that has been going down. I was watching oldmacnut's development, and was really impressed! Couldnt wait to get my hands on it! went away for a week and came back to find out that people do not know how to behave and have once again ruined it for everyone!! checked on TAD but couldnt find anything yet. I dont mean to add to the trolling, just wanted to ask
on a side note, we should come up with a way to put people on a troll list, kind of like a sex offender list... we could even have maps so we can troll outside their actual dwelling and send people like the westboro baptists their way... anyone down for that?

Well sorry to break this to you but it was actually oldmacnut himself who was misbehaving.
It was revealed that he had been stealing credit for other peoples work so his threads were closed. He had been re-zipping another devs entire work from another site and renaming it. Not using a rom as a base and then improving on it but actually just re-zipping entire thing.
After oldmacnuts threads were closed he threw a hissy fit and decided to kill all his links.
When he was called up on it he started *****ing about the devs been drama queens when infact its him who been a drama queen on many occasions, saying he was leaving XDA then he came back, then writing novels about his injury and his temper etc etc etc. Now hes left again and wouldnt surprise me if he came back again.
Now if it was his work and other dev was lying then oldmacnut should have defended himself but he didnt, he just avoided issue and left.

Well then... haha ain't that some ****....
I take it we wont be seeing that reworked copyright infringement then huh?
Strange to see that one fiasco over the CM7 rom happen, since I've downloaded and used some of his actual, non-stolen work in the past. Why would a legitimate developer throw away his own credibility?
The thing is, I never got sufficient evidence that support the allegations made against OMC, nor did I see conclusive information that counters the charges. (By sufficient evidence I mean it has been verified true by more than a few people, independent from the havoc.) I think OMC just denied the accusations and claimed he can show all his work.
Anyways if anyone REALLY wants OMC's Honeycomb 2.5.1, I can send you a download link of it over PM.
