Please Help: Galaxy Note 4 Verizon Hard Bricked - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a N910V that seems to be bricked. First the phone got stuck in the boot screen, so I removed the battery
to reboot but now it will not turn on again. I tried all button press variations to boot the phone but nothing.
When connected via USB to my PC it detects a Qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008 I do not have a 2nd working
Galaxy phone to create a SD card and I do no longer have the box with the serial number. Is there anything I
can do to revive this phone?

Isn't the serial number in the battery compartment?
Have you tried connecting it to Odin to see if it's recognised and if so download the stock ROM and reload?
Edit: just realised it needs to be in Download mode for Odin to recognise it.

I cannot get the phone into download mode and only the IMEI is printed on the sticker in the battery compartment

Yeah, I realised you wouldn't be able to get into download mode after I'd posted.
I have 4 x Note 4s (N910Fs and N910C) and all have the S/N immediately under the IMEI number on the same sticker?
Also, do you have a spare battery you can try?

I have the 910V and there is no serial # just IMEI and the battery is fully charged with 3.85V

Note 4 Canadian version hardbricked

I managed to hardbrick my note 4 ( Rogers, canada)
It is completely unresponsive. I tried to use a USB jig (300k resistor on the USB port) with no success.
I know that the jig work because I tested it in my wife's phone and it boots into download mode but when I connect it into my hardbricked note 4 nothing happens.
Today I realized that if I connect it to a computer windows shows QHSUSB_BULK in device manager.
(my working wife's one boots directly after plugging the USB so there is no qhsusb_bulk driver)
Is there any solution for it or have another paperweight?

Sounds like the phone is bricked. In order to revive it, you should try booing the phone with a debrick image on an sd card.
Is this the one you posted about bricked before and new motherboards ???

Hard bricked Galaxy Note 4, detects as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" when connected

Hard bricked Galaxy Note 4, detects as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" when connected
"INFO & SYMPTOMS"
~Just got a new Galaxy Note 4 the day before yesterday. The phone is not under warranty though.
~The model no. is SM-N910T, which is the Snapdragon T - Mobile variant.
~The phone failed to reboot after a rom install, specifically speaking the Dirty Unicorns Marshmallow.
~Powering on or holding the power on button does nothing.
~I am unable to get the phone into download mode or recovery, the three button methods do not work.
~The led does not light up when connected to a charger or a PC.
~The screen never turns on ever.
~There have been no vibrations for anything since this happened.
~Odin doesn't recognize it, but the phone is detected as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (Com port)" in the device manager when connected to the PC.
This is the case even when I try to connect it without the battery, its still detected as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (Com port)" with or without the battery in it.
Pulling the battery out when connected to the PC didn't affect it.
~The phone charges itself when connected to a charger, I assume this since it gets warm like it usually does when its charging.
~The phone gets warm when I press the power on button and leave it for a while, like half an hour or so.
------------------
Trouble shooting that I have tried:
-Tried removing the battery and pressing power on button for 5 minutes and entering the battery and switch it on.
-Holding power up and connecting the phone via USB.
-Tried the recovery.pit file from this link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/53n5r...comm_APQ8084+(includes+SM-N910F)++Rev+3_0.rar
But I am not sure I did all the instructions correctly. The PDF says to "Download boot recovery pit and bootloader to SDcard using normal phone ", I don't have a normal phone. So is it okay if I try to place the bootloader file in the sd card? How do I place them? Should it be in extracted, or as an .img file?
-Followed the instructions in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-tmobile/help/galaxy-note-4-n910t-fixed-hard-bricked-t3466547
The phone doesn't respond to anything. I tried both the files. I used an 8GB memory card, I wonder if that's okay. I have a 16GB, and a 64GB card in my possession. Should I try with them as well?
--------------------------------
Can someone help me?
Things I am willing to try:
~I will try and make the USB JIG with a 301k resistor, but from what I've read online, it will not work for this issue.
~QFIL flashing, but I have no experience with that software, so I do not know how to configure the files.
Any information is greatly appreciated!
Same problems here
To copy the files on your sd card , first you will have to format it completely and then use win32diskimager and place those files on sd card . I suppose , the sd card should be in FAT32 format .
I have read somewhere that a 32 gb ad card should do the trick, cause the internal memory of the device is 32gb as well
If you format the sdcard, it means you erase everything. Be careful

Bricked Galaxy S8 USB JIG?

Hello! Long story short I've tried to flash TWRP from Linux with a Windows VM using ODIN and ended up with a "hard-soft" bricked phone. Hard-soft because on the phone is just a brick with a fancy screen that displays only the logo. No recovery, no download mode, no $lsusb recognition by the PC. I'm hoping to be able to boot in download mode using a diy USB JIG that I am willing to create. Only small problem: I can't find any schematic or any guidance for the type-C connector. Does anybody know if the JIG method is still present, if so, where should I connect the resistor to? Also, if you have any suggestions on how I can bring my phone back, I would appreciate the help. Symptoms are as followed: The phone turns on, displays the Samsung logo and from there is an infinite bootloop. The key combos for recovery and download mode are not working. Can't even force reboot the phone. At this point I have opened up the device and removed the battery connector, reconnected the battery after ~12h and still the same problem. Also, there is no charging interface when I plug the phone into the charger. Now it's just a fancy brick. PS: It's the exynos version. Thank you!
EDIT: The volume rocker wasn't working. After securing the motherboard better the I was able to recover from download mode.

S8+ SM-G955FD Bricked Only Download mode. Unrecognized USB device

Model Number: SM-G955FD
I Think i bricked the phone when i installed a TWRP update by flashing the twrp file as an .img file after renaming removing the .tar extension from the file. Currently im stuck in a bootloop where i the device shows up as an unrecognized device in windows when im in download mode. When Booting up i get red Text saying " Could not do normal boot. Invalid Kernel Length"
For those who would say: "Install USB drivers" --> The usb drivers have nothing wrong with them, i tried out another similar phone ( SM-G955FD ) and it works, i flashed stock, flashed TWRP, no problem with that other phone. But when i Insert the bricked phone with it on Download mode, all i get is that its an unrecognized device, device descriptor failed. (This is ever since a long time ago, Even OTG doesnt work somehow, but the device charges fine, and when i use my external SSD with a USB C to USB C wire it shows up).
For now What i have done is:-
I Tried to boot into Recovery -> Doesnt work, its stuck in a bootloop (I think its because i flashed the TWRP file as . img into the recovery Partition).
Booted into Download Mode -> It works
I Opened up the Phone and swapped out the Motherboard with another one from an S8+ with a semi functional Screen. Download mode works, phone works fine, nothing wrong with it, board is just old and i would prefer to fix the other one
What works:-
Download Mode
the USB port has nothing wrong with it. i Swapped in another USB board from a similar phone which shows up in odin and it still would show up.
What doesnt work:-
Recovery mode Doesnt work.
I believe its a Kernel/Software issue. Share your thoughts on this.
For now, i am running the phone on an older board from a phone with the same Model Number SM-G955FD with the Original Parts except the Motherboard. Even though i am somehow fine, i do not want the other board go to waste.
