I didnt flash any rom, i cant after i restarted the phone to flash the rom it just never load the twrp. Stays in the lenovo logo and restrats after a while
You are doing it wrong. Flash recovery in bootloader mode (vol DOWN + power) via adb.
If it doesn't work then try flashing a lollipop firmware (official non-twrp flashable firmware) using lenovo flashing software (QcomDloader) with the phone in EDL (Emergency Download Mode)

Hey,
Very strange query but here goes. Rooted phone a while back and installed CM13 along with recovery. Was trying to update TWRP{ by downloading .img from their website, went to flashing, selected the file and hit recovery. Said it was succesful so attempted to reboot. Plugged in to charge and was charging but when I tried to switch it on, it was stuck in Cyanogen Bootloop (blue alien stayed on the screen for 10+ minutes). Tried rebooting to recovery by hitting power + volume down and instead of booting to TWRP, it takes me to a Cyanogen recovery screen where I see the following options:
Cyanogen Recovery.
- Reboot system now
- Apply update
- - -apply from ADB
- - -choose from emulated
- Factory reset
- - -system reset
- - -full factory reset
- - -wipe cache
- Advanced
- - -reboot recovery
- - -reboot to bootloader
- - -Wipe system partition
- - -view recovery logs
Here's what I tried as troubleshooting. Tried to do a system reset, factory reset and wiped cache and tried to restart my phone but no luck. Still stuck in boot loop with CM logo. Tried to reboot to bootloader but the screen is stuck with the 1+ logo for about 5 mins so gave up on that.
Basically, right now I can't access anything on the phone, can't find any way to reinstall a ROM and when I plug it into my Macbook, it is not recognised. So I'm screwed sideways. I had TWRP recovery set up so I have no clue how this happened but can anyone please help me with this.
If data isn't at risk try the Qualcomm recovery tool one the oneplus forum it's by nammand bhal (definitely butchered the name) but all data is lost and resets the phone to out of box conditions locked bootloader and Oos 2.2.1 so this is often a last measure (tool is Windows but may have Mac variant and the file is quite big)
My suggestion is to try to boot to bootloader again and flash TWRP
hmm mac book I don't have much experience with those
If you have a Windows pc you can use adb or on Mac if it has it. Also when it come to being found by a computer in recovery it should but again don't have a mac
CM13 replaced your TWRP recovery with Cyanogen Recovery.
Try to boot into fastboot by holding volume up+ power buttons. If successfull, flash TWRP Recovery, boot into it, wipe everything and do a clean install of the ROM.
Macbook won't detect your device unless it is booted up, in recovery or in fastboot mode.
Doesn't it detect while you are in CM Recovery??
Try selecting Apply Update and Update from ADB. It should detect the device atleast now. If yes, try sideloading.

I knew I would regret getting that macbook at some point
Borrowed a friend's PC and was able to flash TWRP recovery. Was then able to boot into it and do a clean install. Ended up installing Oxygen OS this time. Do you know why this issue occurred so I can research how to prevent it next time.

Actually I don't think the issue was with the Macbook since I have unlocked, flashed custom recoveries and sideloaded ROMs on several devices including OP2, OP3, Nexus 5, etc on mine. It might have been some accidental flashing error, which unfortunately ended up bricking your device.
Hello.
I've got an LG E610 L5 phone which was given to me with some custom-built Android ROM already installed. My wish was to install CyanogenMmod on it so I downloaded the latest release for the device and flashed it; however, after flashing the ROM into the device, the phone's stuck in CyanogenMod's boot screen.
I'll explain what I did:
I downloaded the latest CyanogenMod built for the LG E610 L5 phone from the official website.
I placed the .zip file on my microSD card.
I placed the microSD card inside the phone.
I booted the phone into Recovery Mode (ClockworkMod).
I backuped the previous installation to the SD card (a backup that I now lost, sadly).
After the backup, I wiped/factory reseted the phone from Recovery.
I wiped the cache partition.
I went to "Install .zip file from sdcard," and then "from ext_sdcard."
I selected Cyanogenmod's .zip file from the microSD card and installed it.
After the "Successful install!" message, I rebooted the phone.
And now the phone's stuck in CyanogenMod's boot screen. It's been in that state for maybe one hour already.
Is there a way to prevent this from happening? What steps should I follow to solve this? Should Iprovide any more information? I currently don't have access to anything further than Recovery Mode and I don't know what to do.
Many thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Manuel M.

Yes, I can. What I can't do is get past it.
If I select "Reboot system now," the phone restarts and gets stuck in CyanogenMod's boot screen.

I didn't get to install that recovery because this other problem arised: now I can't even acess Recovery Mode.
When I try to access Recovery Mode (holding down Home and VolDown + Power), the screen remains off while the button lights (Back and Menu) flash repeatedly.
I tried to access Download Mode (VolUp + Power) to flash a stock ROM via KDZ, but when I try to enter the mode, the screen turns completely white and remains that way.
I also tried to acess Download Mode holding down both Volume buttons after plugging the USB cable into the phone, but I only get a "Windows couldn't recognize the device because it malfunctioned last time" message and the phone's screen won't show "Download mode."
Whenever I turn on the phone normally, I still get the neverending CyanogenMod boot screen.
If I turn off the phone using the Power button, the phone turns itself back on. The only way to turn it off is removing the battery.
is there no tool like the AIO -ToolKit to just override everything for the 610?
When I switch on my asus after the first screen it reboots again and again. I was on the rr when it happened. I tried to install other roms, even the original firmware with back2stock too. But again the same problem. I want to flash other official firmware with fastboot, but the phone isn't recognized by fastboot even though i have installed all all all driver.
What can i do?
thanks

flash boot.img via recovery twrp
if you still have twrp, go to advance wipe, wipe cache-system-data-dalvik/ art cache and internal storage. Then back to twrp main page and power off phone via twrp. Then boot your phone back to twrp(volume keys + power key) then install custom ROM and gapps. See if you can boot up.

Yes, okay, but what boot.img? The original asus one? Or boot of the rom?

Could anyone please help me?

1.download latest firmware from official site(mm x. x. x. 1998)
2.put it in sd card
3.update from sd card via stock recovery (flash if using twrp) use the recover version lower than the downloaded version
4.wipe data/cache
5.restart
6.While booting (on boot animation) press and hold power button and restart it.
Hope will work bcs i hv faced it too my phone wasn't booting up(as was stuck on boot animation)

Hey, sorry for the ignorance!
I flashed this ZUI (Nougat) rom on top of CM 13 data, phone did boot with old apps. When i pressed factory reset from settings menu the phone went to recovery and since then its only booting into recovery and not into system! everytime i get into TWRP system is not checked. even after mounting system and flashing stock zip. The phone isn't booting into system but recovery only. Tried flashing system.img by Fastboot.
Solved by using QFIl
Flash stock recovery, then boot into recovery.
It will automatically do factory reset, after that your system partition will boot.
Then flash TWRP again.
And do remember, not use Factory reset option from OS while on custom recovery.
Had the same issue, went to fastboot and then flashed through adb. Worked as a charm.

Try the above mentioned solutions as flashing stock recovery and then stock OS and then TWRP!
I used QPST method to flash Chinese ZUK ROM through QFIL , and then flashed CM 13 later on. :good:
I flashed stock firmware through fastboot and it booted and then flashed twrp and due ROM !! Now working perfectly fine !! Thanks for help

How to switch off the phone stuck in zUK logo with no recovery installed. I tried long pressing the home button but it reboots to zuk logo ,is there any way to switch off the phone
This will fix it without losing any data. (NO FACTORY RESET NEEDED)
Go to TWRP recovery terminal commands, and enter the following:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota
PRESS ENTER
THEN TYPE
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/misc
THEN PRESS ENTER
REBOOT
This should boot up your phone without any changes.
Is there a way to copy the data from the internal memory. My phone won't start (out of the blue), it's stuck on the Samsung logo. I tried Safe mode, Wipe cache partition but it didn't help.
I know I should have taken some backups but I didn't. Samsung authorized service didn't help me either.
Phone is not rooted and it's running Samsung ROM.
Search question posted multiple times. But if Samsung failed then its a waste .
Personally I would flash custom recovery and custom rom without wipe .
Sent from my SM-N930F using XDA-Developers Legacy app
What I read I need to have USB debugging enabled. I'm not sure whether it is enabled and if not how to proceed.
If you can boot to download mode, flash TWRP custom recovery using odin (pc). After that boot to TWRP and from there you can copy your files to memory card using twrp file manager.
I think I'm able to boot to download mode. I'm little bit worried not to mess anything up (such as delete the internal memory). Is there any step-by-step manual on how to do that? What about that USB debugging?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2494245
Does the installation process wipe internal memory? I don't want to loose photos/videos that I didn't backup.
Flashing twrp should not wipe data.
I succesfully flashed TWRP but note 3 still boots in the "regular" recovery mode. What I read Samsung ROM's replace custom recovery with the stock one. How can I fix it?
Do I need to flash TWRP again?
This worked for me:
Before you flash the recovery, untick the Auto Reboot option in ODIN. Then flash the recovery. After flashing in done, reboot your device directly to recovery mode from download mode by pressing Vol up + Power + Home button together. Now you will see the TWRP recovery is booted in your device. Now you can reboot normally and your TWRP will be installed.
