tried mounting system for internal as well as external sd but still didnt work.
copying and pasting the files in root will probably work but those get deleted when i update cm build :/
search unofficial capps for asus zenfone 2. Of course the capps files deleted when flashing cm13 since its overwrite the system partition
Copy files to corresponding system directory. Also copy addon script to system/addon.d which help these apps to survive dirty flashing of new update.
My Nexus 4 had the latest factory image 5.1, I then rooted my device and flashed PureNexus marshmallow. Everything works as it should,except my sdcard is showing at only having about 500mb of space remaining.
I have a 16gb device, I am guessing with the rom, one twrp backup and my apps, I should still have at least 7gb of space available.
Is it possible the device has created a duplicate sd card, when browsing through my internal storage I cannot find any files would be eat up almost 16gb!!
Thanks.
Is the phone recognized as an 8 or 16 GB version on PureNexus?
Hey xda,
I'm trying to install phoenix OS as a standalone OS on my 64bit pc.
I followed every step from this thread, no exception: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ph...opment/problems-installing-phonix-os-t3681518
I'm 100% sure I did not miss any step, I tried it at least 5 times.
After installing phoenix I can chose "Run Phoenix OS" OR "Reboot".
When I chose to run phoenix after installing, it boots straight up, runs extremely well, quite impressive actually!
It boots without the bootable usb, and when going into settings --> storage , I can clearly see it's installed on my HDD (5xx GB free).
BUT, when I restart phoenix, it will just say "Missing OS". And there is no way to boot phoenix, the only way to boot it again is to reinstall phoenix using the bootable usb.
Thanks a lot in advance!
PS: before you ask: yep I created 2 partitions, one fat32, 350mb, flagged as boot and installed GRUB2 on it. The other one ext4 and installed phoenix to that.
And yes, my HDD is set as the first boot device in the bios.
I'm lost
EDIT: 32bit has the exact same issue
I think the problem is related to a limitation of your system, like the partition size or partition format (MBR, GPT, etc). Do you have EFI or BIOS? If you have EFI, I'd suggest that you try to use EFI GRUB2, no need for creating a partition for it, if the disk is partitioned correctly, you should have a hidden EFI partition... If it's not the case, please give more details about your system, it may help...
Greetings,
Just one question about the system size of a fresh install of Oreo.
When a phone came out of the box, it had Nougat on it. Even with the latest Nougat update(DEC 2017), a stock system without adding any apps of mine, need roughly 7.87 GB for the whole system.
When Oreo is installed, it need about 10GB of space for the system.
Why Oreo needs 2GB more space? Nougat's and Oreo's fastboot install .tgz files are almost similar in size(1.4 GB).
So why Oreo needs more space, what's the +2GB increase what took from the available free storage??
Hello Everyone,
I've installed LineageOS 17.1 and BitGApps on a Huawei MediaPad M5 lite.
So far so good.
The problem I'm encountering is that I'm not able to install applications from the PlayStore because the system tells me there isn't space left.
I've checked the space left on the device and from the settings I receive following:
/storage/emulated/0 --> 1.18 GB Used, 23.78 GB Free
/system --> 2.04 GB Used, 623 MB Free
/data --> 1.18GB Used, 23.78 GB Free
Now I see that the /system partition is relatively small and hasn't so much free space left - but if I've correctly understood this partition should be used only by SystemApplications (such as BitGApps).
Other Apps (the one from the playstore) should be installed on the /data partition correct?
What could possibly be the problem?
Thanks in advice to all
