MZ616 Android 4.1.2 - Xoom General

Hi guyz!
Is there are somebody who had experience in flashing XOOM MZ616 with Android 4.1.2 firmware from MZ617?
One guy from 4pda comminity flashed hiz MZ616 this way and said it OK.
But it possible GSM will not work.
I tried to flash different MZ617 firmaware to my MZ616 via Safestrap Recovery (device need ROOT before), but nothin happens :/
Finally I got black screen and device wich never boot...
Now my XOOM fixed with Motorola Factory Cable (according to Low Battery) and stock firmware via RSD Lite.
Any ideas how to get Android 4.1.2 on our european Xooms MZ616?

After flash, do a full wipe in stock recovery.

There's no way to root or downgrade for VIVO's rom, you just have to wait until there's a solution
MaX,i may be wrong but in the "And developers milestone 2 sbf" it says that this rom is rootable by Superoneclick.
Have you tried that?

No, the rom from Vivo (and from Personal Argentinian operator) can't be rooted yet. There's some discussion here:

Thanks MaxK47, it was very enlightening, i didn't know about the revisions in those sbf's.

That's not a Milestone 2 ROM, it's for a Droid 2, you must use the CM9 on MS2 Dev forum, not the one from the CyanogenMod page

[Q] Upgrade Bootloader Only (specifically XT905)

How to upgrade just the bootloader of a phone?
There is no official 3.4 kernel for RAZR M XT905 (Australian), so i tried to flash fxz of XT907 (.15 version)
I flashed all the files except system, modem and partition. Then I installed KKBL TWRP and it did worked. But it was not letting me install the new KKBL ROMS due to different value return in ro.secure.hardware, so I had to remove this line from updater-script.
The new rom installed and booted, but what showing System UI has stopped working constantly, this was solved by updating the modem as well. But the XT907 modem doesnot supports XT905 properly (very low signal strength, no network registration).
I hit the wall there, anyone else knows the proper way to achieve this? Can we mod the modem or firmware? Or can the Lollipop firmware be compiled for old kernel.? Are sbl1,sbl2,sbl3 only necessary bootloader files. What is the function of other files.
P.S Now BlissPop i sshowing Setup Wizard has stopped working. Any way out?
Well i just installed BlissPop nightly for JBBL and it is working
Yes, the bootloader has to be compatible with the modem and that's why you won't be able to use a JB modem with a KK bootloader in most cases.
But the KitKat rollout for the Aussie XT925 (Razr HD) has just started this week (it's 180.46.127) and since both phones' software is very similar, I guess KitKat for XT905 is just around the corner.
