{Q} SKYPE crashes

Hello World ;
The Skype app crashes after a 1 hour long video call. Phone reboots on its own back to launcher .. Is this on account of heating as it does become warm..
ROM: Mahdi ROM 0620 Release
Kernel:Stock
Runtime:ART
No other tweaks ..
Would any one know of a reason apart from heating ..?

[Q] Music Player stops suddenly songs

Hello everyone
I bought this week an xiaomi note 4g
Every time I turn on the music player after 2 songs it freez and for replay it should close force or sometimes restarting the phone
I installed a new player but it does not help
Someone did this happen? Does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks

I am facing the same issue with my Xiaomi Note 3G. The issue is with memory card perhaps.

Try to format your memory card and see if problem persists...

is it that the music stop after the screen locked?

I tried to format the memory card that does not help
The music starts half a minute stops for a few seconds and repeat again stops
Then the phone got stuck and had to turn it back

same as here. it will happen only when locked screen.

Are u using any task manager(like clean master) which automatically stops the player while the screen is off...
Try to play music in safe mode and see if it works or not...

I'm asking that it happens to you when your screen is on or when phone is locked...?

This happens when we set pattern or any other lock type to our screen in redmi phones. I too faced this issue...put lock screen as none and then there won't b any issue with music
Edit: above thing dint work for long time. Looks like miui bug

It is not the problem with the memory card. The problem is with the MIUI Software. It forces closes apps for RAM Optimization when the screen is locked. It is a bug and has been reported to Xiaomi India Official. Hope that they will correct this issue in the next update !!

I was having same issue and was looking for a solution ..
And I knew something is kiling my music app ...
So here is the solution that worked for me ..
Go to security > power > change settings in there
Clean memory - never
Sleep - never
But it's seriously a bug which I hope would be fixed in next update ..

I own a Note 4g for a couple of months now and never had this issue.

I am using MI4i (32gb), when i use music player, it started normally with full sound but after 6-7 seconds volume automatically decreasing.
Kindly help for this issue.

For the pause bug, there's a simple solution. Try it
Download kernel auditor from play store.
Go to cpu hotplug and disable mp decision.
Now go to cpu and enable two or more cores.
That's it.

I went to the settings_additional settings_developer settings_memory optimisation... And set optimisation to low and worked for me. Try for yourself maybe it will help.

apps stop responding after sometime in Android N

Hello after the update to Android N, i have noticed that many apps stop responding after some minutea using them (most of them are streaming apps, like popcorntime, kodi, etc..)
Does anyone got the same problem?
Is there any solution to that?

I got this problem since i updated to Android N..
Example:
When im watching a movie in popcorn time app for Android TV everything its ok, but afer like 30 mins, the subtitles stop and the if i try to pause the app, it stop responding and i have to close it, that didnt happen before with android M
Maybe many apps aren't compatible with Android N yet? Because this happens with some other apps as well..
Anyone got the same problem? Any solution? I already factory reset the mexus player but still the same

This has been ongoing for me too and like you I've already done the factory reset. I think the problem is many of the television apps were written in 2013 and more or less abandoned since then. Even then I've seen it in some of the supposedly updated apps so I'm just not sure...

I'm having kind of the same issue with Kodi after the Android 7 upgrade.
After watching something for 20-30 minutes it starts "buffering", but nothing happens. I have to force shutdown the app and reload it to make use of it again.
Weird part though is that it happens at random. Normally it happens after 20-30 minutes, but sometimes after 10 minutes or a couple of hours..
I'm seriously considering rooting my Nexus Player, just to go back to Marshmallow.

Hello I am having a weird problem when I turn off my screen it flashes off and on and then off again. I do have a few Magisk modules like deep buffer remove and Youtube vanced (ad free screen off play), also Viper4 android. It was happening to me too. When you click the power button to lock it dims the screen then flashes on for a second and then turns back off right? (Sorry the video you posted isn't playing for me) it was doing that after the update to 8.1 almost every single time I locked the screen but was fixed in the most recent update the other day. Haven't had that issue occur since the latest update. On version OPM1.180104.141

Hey trying to flash the new update from the first public release of 8.1 to the newest and it said it failed before it even progresses. What should I do?

For me, the battery behaves as properly as possible. Screenshot below

I've already flash the rom..yes it's stable version MIUI 11 Global..there's no dark mode, android version still 7.1.1 from MIUI 9 until now android version still same..so bored..so i decided to use any custom rom has using android 9.0..and waiting custom rom android 10 for Mi Max 2..

My max 2 became really slow after miui 11. The shortcuts page on the left freezes halfway and then comes up 20-30 seconds later, when i press the home button it takes 5 to 10 secs to go to the home screen. All buttons and respective actions take slower than it used to. It is so annoying!

After installation on my phone, everything works as it should. I did full wipe during installation. I have no problems with the speed of the phone. Earlier, Android 9. Recovery was installed in the treble version.
In general, I recommend this rom because everything should work as it should

works perfectly fine for me, although this is not my daily driver device.

i have also updated to MIUI 11, its working perfectly, no battery issue, no hang n all. everything is perfect.

After update to miui (official miui, phone give me not. that new miui is aval.) 11 my max2 need 5min to turn on every time. Half of app crash all the time. Slower then android from 2013 now. What to do??
