Hello everyone
I bought this week an xiaomi note 4g
Every time I turn on the music player after 2 songs it freez and for replay it should close force or sometimes restarting the phone
I installed a new player but it does not help
Someone did this happen? Does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks

I am facing the same issue with my Xiaomi Note 3G. The issue is with memory card perhaps.

Try to format your memory card and see if problem persists...
is it that the music stop after the screen locked?
I tried to format the memory card that does not help
The music starts half a minute stops for a few seconds and repeat again stops
Then the phone got stuck and had to turn it back
same as here. it will happen only when locked screen.

Are u using any task manager(like clean master) which automatically stops the player while the screen is off...
Try to play music in safe mode and see if it works or not...

I'm asking that it happens to you when your screen is on or when phone is locked...?
This happens when we set pattern or any other lock type to our screen in redmi phones. I too faced this issue...put lock screen as none and then there won't b any issue with music
Edit: above thing dint work for long time. Looks like miui bug

It is not the problem with the memory card. The problem is with the MIUI Software. It forces closes apps for RAM Optimization when the screen is locked. It is a bug and has been reported to Xiaomi India Official. Hope that they will correct this issue in the next update !!
I was having same issue and was looking for a solution ..
And I knew something is kiling my music app ...
So here is the solution that worked for me ..
Go to security > power > change settings in there
Clean memory - never
Sleep - never
But it's seriously a bug which I hope would be fixed in next update ..
I own a Note 4g for a couple of months now and never had this issue.

I am using MI4i (32gb), when i use music player, it started normally with full sound but after 6-7 seconds volume automatically decreasing.
Kindly help for this issue.

For the pause bug, there's a simple solution. Try it
Download kernel auditor from play store.
Go to cpu hotplug and disable mp decision.
Now go to cpu and enable two or more cores.
That's it.

I went to the settings_additional settings_developer settings_memory optimisation... And set optimisation to low and worked for me. Try for yourself maybe it will help.

I'm listening to Music with my Legend very much, and i recognized that Audioplayback is sometimes stopping, is running without even when the screen is locked. Sometimes I have to push power button to get sound back. I don't think that this is a ROM or Music Player issue because I was getting this problem with an unrooted Phone and some other ROM.
Can somebody help me ?

Thanks anyway for your help. I made up my mind about it and I think this has to be a problem of my SD Card or sometimes the CPU is drained too much.

I have a issue about horizontal screen games (like "bad piggies").
When I run and close a horizontal screen applications after I ran many background applications , the phone will be crash and reboot(but not success,see attach file)

When coming out of the game it drops to home screen as normal then just locks the phone and I have to manually reboot. Not every time, but about 3 out of 5. Kinda weird, but I love the game so I keep playing it and rebooting anyway lol

I have a strange experience music play stopped when opening gallery. Does anybody have this problem.

I was using google play music.
While playing when i open the gallery suddenly the player stopes.
I have also tried power amp. Rocket player. Both have a glitch while opening
Gallery but it plays after that glitch

I have also experienced the problem of the music player stopping all of a sudden but happens while I'm browsing. It persists no matter which player I use. I've tried clearing cache memory of the applications and from the bootloader as well. But has not helped.
What can be the solution for this?

Do you have LOTS of pics in your phone or card memory?
The only reason I can think of, is the ram memory couldn't handle multitasking when its fully utilized.
Our device has 1 GB of ram but the FREE memory is lower than 300 MB most of the time.
You'd look for the apps for its rem memory consumption and remove any unnecessary apps if needed.
BTW, I tested playing an MP3 file with Rocket Player and then opening the gallery app, but there was no glitch whatsoever.
Strangely, while testing Google play music I found that it stops playback as soon as it loses the focus to ANY other app...

I do have another question
Does anybody facing problem for ear speaker during call.
It only happens very few times.
What happens is i cant hear any voice from ear speaker. But the caller can hear me.
And i also tried speaker phone its also not working.
But when i tried with headset its working.
I googled and find out that its a problem with headset jack.
Does anybody found any fix for this.
I am sad bcz the latest update didn't fix this.
Hope the lollipop will fix this problem.
I am still in one month return period do i need complaint abt this problem to the flipkart.
I tried opening the Gallery while playing music using Google Music Player and the music didn't stop. But then again I only have around 400 pictures in my SD card.

By any chance, do you soft-reboot your phone. I had the same problem and realised that soft-reboot and the call problem were correlated to each other. I stopped the soft-rebooting, and the problem was solved.

No, soft rebooting is when only the software reboots, whereas hard reboot is that what you normally do, is when the hardware reboots as well, I think.

Since you still have an option for 30 days replacement and the problem highly seems like a hardware problem, you'd act fast to confirm the problem.
If I had this problem, I would have backed my data etc and try factory resetting the device.
Then without installing ANY apps....test the music playback for a while to try reproducing the problem...
You'd also try playing the music from device internal memory, to see if that makes any difference.
If the problem come back even once...I'd definitely ask for a replacement asap.
Btw, I never had this kind of problem, and no other person posted about this issue....so this could well be the hardware problem.
I'll suggest to make your decision fast...

Does anyone have any type of fix or workaround to stop audio from crashing system. I'm not sure what triggers it, as mine didn't crash at until the last few weeks . I use GPS extensively and it's annoying to have to restart to see where I am driving to.

What device and rom? Any mods? If you can dirty flash rom again, there's a chance it's working again(like camera gets not detected). But please provide all details.

i install yestarday the lineage 2 revolution but when i attack mobs the game freeze. Any idea what's the problem? is the game or i have to do something in my phone?
I'm starting to think there is something with the phone or the OS (Assuming you're running OxygenOS too) because mine locks up momentarily when I play Sentinel 4 and there is a lot of enemies attacking. I can't even change the volume or press home when it's frozen but it will launch my requested actions once it comes back up.
I'm curious to know if someone else has the same issue too. I'm already cooperating with OnePlus' L2 support about USB audio not being there at all and also Bluetooth instability. I can tell them about the lock ups but I may want to try with your game to see if it does that on mine too. Do you have to get far in the game to experience those issue?
I found the problem. From game settings/device, i lower the sound effect volume from 75 to 0 and no more freezes but when i give just 1 freezes again but no like before. No idea if the problem coming from Snapdragon Audio+ install or the musicfx app.

On my end, lowering the in-game volume and uninstalling the Equalizer FX app that I got from the Play Store did not resolve mine. Although, I tried my game with the same progression on my Note 3 and my Note did not freeze like that even if it has more stuff running in background and installed overall. I'll keep searching.

I confirm it fixed the huge stutters I was having in Sentinel 4 so yeah, it was an OS issue. Glad it's fixed now. My phone feels fast again. \o/
