The sRGB mode option is provided in the developer options.
If I toggle it on, go to the previous screen and come back and check, its automatically switched off.
So, I cannot enable sRGB mode at all.
Anyone facing this issue?
Any help appreciated.
I read about this from a note8 user too but nobody seems to care. Happens to me on my s7 too, I'm curious about this toggle but I've never figured out how to make it work. I think it's impossible that really no one ever tried this. Damn samsung nd their software.
I'd be glad too if anyone could help
Yes, I was surprised that nobody had even reported this issue. Looks like nobody wants sRGB

OK folks. Here's my problem. As best as I can tell, my acclerometer has gone bad. My poor old MyTouch will not auto-rotate. I have tried to wipe, reflash, change roms, wipe rotate settings, opened case and checked all connections, beat it with a hammer, yelled and screamed, and even blamed my wife. Is there any way, that anyone knows of, to lock the poor thing in landscape mode. Even if it is just in the text messaging app of any rom. Any ideas or help would be greatly helpfull and apreciated.
Hi guys, new guy here trying to figure something out. I've searched other threads, but wasn't able to find the answer. When the phone is charging the screen remains on, just wondering if there's a setting somewhere that can turn the screen off while charging. I've looked everywhere, but can't seem to find a way. Thanks in advance.

Thank you!
OP, by any chance do you (or anyone else for that matter) have the bug of anytime the phone is rebooted (whether plugged in or not), the "Stay Awake" setting becomes reactivated? Mine is this way and can't seem to find any way to fix it.
Not really a big issue to me, but it just seems odd that it would keep reactivating on its own.
Has anyone tried the one-handed mode where it shrinks the whole screen down?
(I think) I have the setting enabled correctly, but that double swipe just doesn't do anything...
That was one of the features that sold me on this thing.
Did you enable system wide one handed mode. Its supposed to be a left to right swipe from the reviews I watched.

Yep, that's enabled.
And I've seen the videos as well - it's just not working like that...
Has anyone gotten it to work?

weird, I can't get it activated on my Verizon Note 3 either...
Gotta Swipe the end of the screen

I have tried every kind of swipe, and watch a few youtube videos demoing this feature. My settings are turned on, but nothing happens.
It's a bit temperamental, but does work.

I finally got mine working. I'm not quite sure how... but it's working.
It may have been related to the TalkBack issue I was having where the browser would not shut up. I had turned off TalkBack in the App Manager, but the browser was still talking. Eventually I went back in there and turned TalkBack back on, then turned the TalkBack settings on under Accessibility.
After a few minutes of using the browser like that, I turned the TalkBack settings back off and the browser finally shut up. The weird part is that after doing this, the next time I tried the one-handed swipe, it actually worked.
????
Good luck to you other guys...
I may have figured this out now.
I was just setting up Light Flow and once I went to the Accessibility settings to turn it on, it forced TalkBack on also.
I think one-handed mode is one of the things that gets disabled when TalkBack turns on. At least that seems to be the case for me.
So if you have Accessibility services turned on, that's probably the cause. Hopefully Samsung will fix this nonsense, or at least somebody figures out a workaround...

That's it. I had a TweetView service active for my Galaxy Gear and it wouldn't allow the one handed operation to work.
Works fine for me no issues. I have no Gear and will never. Pebble maybe though.
Hi guys,
Having an issue with my Note 4 (SM-N910F) international version since the MM 6.0.1 update. I received a further update after the MM 6.0.1 recently and thought the issue would've been fixed but alas, no!
Current version of Software: N910FXXS1DPE7.
Issue is, I have power saving mode turned on and set to: Start power saving "Immediately". However it keeps getting turned off and the screen becomes bright and I could not recognise a pattern how this occurs.
Things tried so far:
-Unticked automatic brightness and dragged all the way to low.
-Smart stay was/is never ticked.
-Auto adjust screen tone is ticked, but unticking that and also leaving automatic brightness turned off still causing power saving to automatically turn off.
-I have tried to check for this issue in Safe mode and it still happens.
Any ideas of what could be causing this? I do not want to do a factor reset for this issue and if it can be avoided after all. Safe mode is somewhat similar isn't it?
I have noticed the issue occur when I start using Gmail app (not the Inbox one), but that is just one scenario.
It seems like the light sensor gets triggered when it faces bright light and turns off power saving mode and screen becomes bright, but just could be a red herring.
Thanks a million!

I have just one problem like yours. When i receive Marshmallow i just update. But Power Saving turns off every reboot. Just back to factory settings and make your wipes. I solve this with wipes and factory.

Thanks. Yeah I am trying to avoid factory reset because can't go thorugh the process of installing apps, setting up all the various accounts etc especially since there is no built in fully restorable backup feature. Family man with kids and have enough IT stuff to do at work.
I'm on stock/non-rooted device also. And this will be my last Samung device, if not the last Android!
I understand you very well. You can use HELIUM apk to make your nandroid backups without root and make easier this tedious work. I don't have rooted my phone but helium makes all faster that, and i use also wondershare mobile go for android and PC.
I hope this helps you and you can resolve your problem. Good luck and regards from Switzerland - (Mexico)

Thanks Tavok. I did download Helium and wanted to test it out, however my phone is now staying in Power Saving mode since a few days! I have done nothing new, didn't uninstall any app or change any settings as such for it to work. This is bugging me because I want to know what fixed it so that I can re-apply the fix again if need be.
I've also read that some people are complaining about Note 4 getting stuck in Power Saving mode and I hope this is not the case with mine, now that it seems to work as expected.
I will update this thread once I check it out further.
I found out how this power saving mode gets turned off. It is the Location settings. If location is off, the power saving mode stays on (this is what it was set to hence I didn't see the issue happening). But when I changed it back to High accuracy, I started to notice the power saving getting turned off from time to time when using certain applications that require Location accuracy.
This is a bug since the MM update!!
Any ideas how to use Location accuracy and still retain Power saving mode?
I did a factory reset and the issue persisted! I tried various location settings(of the 3 choices) asks none of them helped. When set to any one of them power saving automatically turns off after a while I.e. when location needs to be detected. The only workaround us to turnoff location altogether but that messes with the auto sync of accounts! Grrrrrrrr
I verified with Samsung Tech Support that Location and Power Saving are incompatible on the Galaxy Note 4, even with the latest Android version available for the device (6.0.1) . In other words, Turning on Location while Power Saving is active will disable Power Saving after a short period. Fortunately, the problem is fixed on later devices.
Hi, i'm kevin
