Hello I applied a screen protector from Samsung that costed 15 euros, the touch screen is not smooth as it was. Is there any app or trick to make the scroll and the touch screen smoother?
My device is g950f rooted

Search pointer speed in settings and put to max, should work well and make sure the screen protector is actually touching the screen, not raised (even slightly) I have thrown away about 15 for this reason. Good Luck
Ps Water may help as per @TheMadScientist :laugh:

hey...well i was wondering,my htc megas screen is very scrathced cause ive been using it a while...is there any way to repair this(like applying some substance to the screen or something like that) thanks in advance
Mine has a scratch/dent so deep you could park your car in it - all I use is a stick on screen protector, works perfectly, you would hardly notice it.

Yeah. Those plastic things work beautifully. I used them all the while. No scratches and no tension. The touch responsiveness was the same. Yeah they wont help you take the ones out, that you made.
Got a 10.1 which is fantastic however my biggest gripe is the way it so easliy collects fingerprints!!! Is there anyway to prevent this i.e. a good screen protector?? or some chemical coating?? Its so bad that you can see my unlock pattern on the screen once it turns off!

Check out my blog today man: http://goo.gl/O6iYZ
This was a good solution for a lot of people.
EDIT: LOL.... I just realized the first suggestion was Rain-X.... HINT, that is what my blog article is about!! Too funny man.
I just tried the rain-X trick and I must say that I'm well impressed!!! I use it on my bathroom mirrors as it stops them steaming up - It's great stuff! Will have to see how long it last but I would say it improved things by 90%...Going to use it on the screen of my phone too
Thanks man!

mine seems to last me a bit, i am ocd and clean my tab like once every 2 weeks and have been finger print free
I've heard about Rain-x before.
Now I'm from Belgium and I don't immediatly know where to get it. So I looked on Amazon.co.uk, but which one is it?
I can't post link to amazon coz I'm new.
But you have 3 different things:
*Rain X 88199500 Rain Repellent and Glass Cleaner
*Rain X 80199200 Rain Repellent
*Rain X 81199200 Anti Fog Repellent
I would also like an answer on this question, or a confirmation that
Rain X 88199500 Rain Repellent and Glass Cleaner
is the right one.
I have tried the last 2 and would say that the anti-fog works better...however none of them stop greasy fingerprints but I would say they definitely help!
So here's a little video of me checking the time while sitting on the couch. Very frustrating. Any tips or fixes available to make it better?

Did a clean install when 5.1.1 came out... just upgraded to most recent fw but it's been like this since I upgraded to lollipop.
My Z3C never had this issue. DT2W works flawlessly but it's disabled on my phone because it was waking up too often while in my pocket
The thing is DT2W worked flawlessly on the first kitkat FW when this phone came out... After the upgrades you'll hv to move it like pick it up then it'll work properly. If you leave it on a flat surface for awhile and tap it without moving it then it'll be like in the OP's video.
Sent from my SM-T705 using XDA Free mobile app
It's the same for me. Worked very good on 4.4, now only with movement before on 5.0, 5.1. I think they tried to make it less sensitive to waking the screen in the pocket or something. Though not the best solution.

If it wakes up in your pocket, then make the screen face outwards when you put it in your pocket problem solved :'D That's what i do anyway.

I'd rather not, I scratched my previous phone's screen really bad when doing this. I got out of my way for someone and ground with my hip against a stone wall.

GravityBox has this "Proximity wake-up" feature.
The phone will never wake-up when the proximity sensor is covered (even when you use the power button instead of double-tap)
Sometimes the double tap doesn't respond well at all.

Nice find. But isn't that going to be a big battery drain?

I didn't notice any battery drain using that feature.
It seems the sensor is not used all the time. Maybe it is used only when there's an attempt to wake up the phone.
Testing now

I already got one, along with CaseMate Barely There. don't wanna repeat that Mini Pro mistake.
lol so you have a case and a tempered glass screen protector and you are adjusting the way you put your phone in your pocket in order to avoid the possibility of grinding your hip into a wall whilst avoiding someone. wow. you are one cautious individual.
Just get gravity box. Once you have that tap to wake is perfect.

yes I am cautious, this phone was quite expensive and I'm going to use it for as long as possible. and yes, I've already enabled the proximity wake in GB.

The home buttons, as they are now, take up way too much space. And, you can pull a Pixel or OnePlus 5T out of a pants pocket and have it already unlocked before you can even find the button on the front of a phone.
All comes down to ergonomics. Just makes more sense on the back.

For my thumb, it is.
Using a long phone like this and trying to use a thumb to unlock it while gripping it may just make me drop the phone. The index finger on the back makes more sense as I'm already grabbing the phone naturally. My index finger can reach the back fp sensor naturally, but I need to move my thumb downwards to reach a front fp sensor and if the phone is long, I need to shift the phone upwards so my thumb can reach the bottom of the phone. Trying to adjust the phone using one hand in order to reach the front fp sensor makes no sense to me.
Of course a front fp sensor makes most sense for unlocking the phone on the table, no doubt about that. But I can always use double tap to wake and unlock it using pin or pattern. And if the phone is near me, I can just look at it to face unlock.
Hello, friends, is screen protector essential for the phone? Can't we use the phone without it? If we use a one how often should it be changed? Can we use this over a long time? Doesn't it harm the display of the phone since it applies a pressure on the screen?

is screen protector essential for the phone? Not essential but yes I would recommend
Can't we use the phone without it? You can
If we use a one how often should it be changed? Once you feel that it has a lot of scratches or is degrading display quality.
Can we use this over a long time? Yes
Doesn't it harm the display of the phone since it applies a pressure on the screen? No
